Metal is a substance that is made in the earth. With refining, humans and other creatures use it to create weapons to attack, shields to defend, and construction material for added strength. It is hard to bend metal without Fire. Metal usually takes a lot of willpower and concentration to bend it, but fairly easy to move it after it is already formed into the way you want it to look.

Metal is a sub-element of earth. It is derived from earth and harvested from the earth. Even in small quantities, metal is dangerous. Lead for example, if consumed, can be harmful to the body. Same with Mercury. On the other hand, metal can be helpful when consumed, like Iron and Potassium. Even some "heavy Metal" can give your body some diseases. Parkinsons, Dementia and Multiple Sclerosis have all been linked to consumation of Lead, Mercury and Aluminum.

Being used by a Strong Earth Elemental, metal can have the potential to be deadly. Only 27% of the soil of Earth is some-sort of Metal. So in it's rarity, many seek it out to make weapons, etc out of it. Be very careful when harnessing Metals as you use it.
