Sighing Damon looked at his son. He was growing so fast! It was starting to scare him. Had he done a good job? Should he have told him about his mother and siblings? Shaking his head of these thoughts he trotted over and nudged his son's shoulder. "Are you hungry?"

Tenpi looked at him and smiled " If I was hungry I would fend for myself!" He told his father. He shook his pelt. He was getting large wasn't he? He would soon be an adult. One day.

"I know you could fend for yourself but the greater the numbers the easier and quicker the kill." Hadn't he taught him this himself? 'Wow that confused even me!' Normally not so out of it he glanced at his son thoughtfully. "What do you think of me son?"

At first Tenpi wasn't exactly listening, he was like any teenaged boy, well... not exactly. Then he was caught off guard by his fathers question " What kind question is that old man?" He teased lightly wandering what he meant.

"Don't call me an old man you little punk!" Teasing him Damon growled in a serious/playful way and snapped playfully again at him. His son was such a twit! He wondered where he got it from. Oh well he loved him. He was the only one who would understand his old man. "Son. Now in all seriousness." Turning serious he suddenly blurted out something maybe he shouldn't have. "Son do you want to know about your mother?"

Tenpi snickered. Then he stopped when his dad said something about his mother. " You never talk about her..." He huffed. Not that he didn't want to know. It was just... Odd.

"I know I never do. But you are growing up and I felt you needed to know something about her. I will only tell you one thing about her. That is if you want to know." Knowing he was going into very painful memories he owed his son this one thing. After all he took him away from a mother and siblings it was the least he could do.

" Of course I want to know!" He huffed. He never knew his mother and when his father was away so would he be. He would look for her everywere but never found her.

"What would you like to know?" Though he should have decided on what to tell him he left it up to his son to choose. He knew everything Tenpi didn't.

Sighing at the onslaught of questions Damon laid down facing his son. "I will not answer the first too but I will answer the second two." Pausing for a long time he prepared himself. "You have two siblings. A sister and a brother. I do not know for sure there names. When I left we were only just deciding." Remembering that day made a shiver flow through him. It was such a bittersweet memory and only pain followed.

" Why not the last 2? " He asked then asked " And the last one!" He said pressuring him and his tail wagging fast and his ears flickered.

"I can't give it all away! I want you to figure that out on your own. And the last one......" Sighing he continued making no stop. "We lived in different territories. Both of us believed different things. She lived in the N....a place where pups more then often turned cold and mean or didn't live at all. I felt that you and your siblings deserved to live in a place where war wasn't a constant thing. Your mother felt differently. We got into a fight and since I couldn't carry all of the pups with me I grabbed you. Your fur wasn't like the rests and you would have been constantly cold. That is why I left. Now I must forget her and move on. It was not meant to be. Besides you and your siblings will eventually meet up but I hope to never lay eyes on your mother again."

Tenpi cringed a bit. His father had left and his mother... mostly sentenced them to death. " I'm sorry...." He said. But now he could narrow his search. It was north. Obviously north.

Sighing he nuzzled his sons neck something he had only done to him when he was a very young pup. "Don't apologize to something that I have caused. I only hope that one day you can forgive this old man for what he's done." Shaking himself from this sadness he once again turned into his normal not caring self.
"I was thinking of joining a pack Tenpi. I'm going to search for one soon. In deciding this and giving you the information I have you have a few paths you can choose from. One is come and join the pack I'm going to join. Second is to find a pack of your own. Third is to search for the family you don't know. The last is living on your own in this territory. This doesn't mean if you don't choose to be in the same pack as me that you can't see me. It just means we live in different area's." After explaining all this Damon waited for his sons decision.
