"Momma, hurry hurry!" urged to bone child as he pulled and leaned forward with all his might while still attached by his guardian's grip.
"Just be patient, Osso! The park's not going anywhere!" laughed the blonde werewolf as she continued to not let go of the fiesty Mishap's hand. Wine hued eyes gazed forward from behind the clear lenses of black rimmed glasses and looked over at the park surrounded by flaming trees.
The seasons were changing quickly from summer to fall and the many leaves were already mottled red orange and yellow. A small n** hung in the air and caused the Noir's cheeks to be a bit pink despite that thick black scarf around her neck and chin.
"Mooommaaaaa," Osso whined but had finally given up on making his mother walk any faster that .02 miles per hour. Shaggy blonde locks hung over his hollow eyes and black and white tattooed face. He had become much more lankier and of course bigger, for he was now a toddler; a 'big boy'.
"Okay, okay," Azumi replied in an exhasperated, but happy, tone and finally let go of his hand. She soon made her way over to a wooden bench not far from the playground.
Osso launched himself forward in a run that turned a little wobbly at times, but pretty decent for his newly aquainted walking abilities. He clambered up the rope steps and across the moving bridge until he flew down the big yellow tube slid. he giggles and laughs could be heard in an echo as he came down the chute and flopped onto his bottom at the end.

Tori shuffled slowly along the path he had found on his way to the park. He had had to consult his Mishaps HQ Map several times, and was quite relieved to have found the correct area, finally. As the tall man made his way to the less forested part of the park, he vaguely hoped that Wycliff hadn't inherited his horrible sense of direction.
Indeed, Wycliff was trying very hard to remember how they had gotten to the park area, with not much success. His Guardian had showed him the map several times, but he couldn't make anything out of it; after all, he was just a baby, even though he was rather close to being considered a toddler. Wycliff's friends were all starting to grow, and he wanted to, too! He wanted to be able to speak better, walk better, climb better...
Just then, both Wycliff and Tori spotted Osso, playing in the park. Tori brightened up, waving at Azumi, and shuffling quickly toward her. He was working on giving Wy some independance around his friends, and he was eager to see how Wy and Osso would interact, not having seen each other for a very long time.
Wycliff glanced toward Osso, frowning inwardly. Look at him! He could do all of the things Wy wanted to, and more. At first, the little Mishap was filled with jealously, but it quickly turned to admiration, and Wycliff smiled, crawling, and then walking, slowly toward Osso, trying to look as poised and cool as possible for the older Mishap.

Something caught her the corner of her eye and Azumi gazed up from some old book she had placed in her lap. Brows rose and eyes widend when she saw who was waving at her,"Tori! Wycliff!" She rose from the bench and walked a little until she met up with the tall man and embraced him in a monster hug. "I havn't seen you in forever! How are you? Oh my god, Wy grew so much!" she rattled on and on and a big smile plastered on her face and her fluffy black tail swaying behind her.
Osso stopped mid step on one of the playground's stairs as he heard her mother start talking excitedly. He leaned back, one hand grasping a railing, and saw her talking to some big person he had never seen in his life. Shrugging his bony shoulders the boy started heading up the steps again and that was when he caught sight of the little green-ish colored boy toddling towards him.
He blinked a couple times and then white lips parted into a smile. Someone to play with! The bone child re traced his steps down the stairs and made his way up to the other kid.

Tori smiled broadly, blushing softly at Azumi's comments. "Ahh, well...He is a beautiful boy, ne? Osso is looking great, too! The last time I saw him, he was sooo small...." His long, purple hair swished behind him as he talked, adding to his animated nature. He glanced to the side, making sure Wy and Osso were doing okay. "Ahh, and look at them..."
Wycliff smiled as he approached Osso, giggling softly. "Hihi!" He shouted, waving his arms at the approaching figure. The other Mishap was so big; Wy looked up at him, his mouth open slightly. "Mmmm...." The little Rhino-boy mumbled, not knowing the words to express his admiration.

Azumi folded her hands behind her back and she turned to look at the two Mishaps interacting. It was a lovely sight and it made the werewolf giggle to herself. "I'm so glad they finally get to meet each other. The only real interaction he's had with other's was with Lenore," she spoke happily though her gaze was still on the two young ones.
Osso stopped and waved his hand at the little one. it wasn't until he was right in front of this new person that he noticed the little spikes protruding all over his body and that he really was a mossy green color! "Hi!" he exclaimed in a joyful voice and soon widend his hollow eyes just a bit when he realized that he had to look down on this little spikey thing. It was an odd feeling actually, since he was so used to having to look up at everyone...Except for klaz and of course...Aaaand Riru, their newest family member.
"I Osso," he pointed to himself with a bony finger, "want to go play?" he then pointed a thumb over his shoulder and over to the playground. Blonde hair ruffled over his face from a nippy wind that made Azumi shiver, but seemed to have absolutely no effect on the child. He continued to stare down at the new person with his hollow gaze and white lipped smile.
The Noir werewolf finally turned back to her own friend and asked," so, what have you two been up to?" Black ears were perked forward to catch a reply as short, choppy, layered tresses fluttered so slightly from a passing breeze.

Tori nodded slowly, smiling as he watched Wycliff stumble toward Osso. "Yes, I have been trying to help Wycliff expand his friend basis, and he doesn't seem to mind any of the Mishaps or Guardians he's met so far, so it's been a great experience for both of us..." The tall man turned to Azumi, watching her for a few moments. He had missed her quite a lot, since they hadn't interacted for a while. His long, purple hair swished back and forth gently behind him and he blinked, almost missing her question. "Ah, well...Nothing much, I guess...I am planning to do a few big things with Wy once he is officially considered a toddler...We've been visiting some Mishaps and Guardians, playing around at the picnic...Stuff like that...How about you?"
Wycliff smiled broadly, hugging Osso's legs gently. "Hi!" The little Rhino-boy stepped back rather akwardly, not having a very good sense of balance. "Oooooo....Sssssss....Oooossss....." He sounded the words out very slowly, trying to repeat the Mishap's name. Not able to do quite that, he settled for just plain "Ossss" and went on to looking around the playplace. He hadn't been to this area before, and it looked really fun, especially with another Mishap to play with. "Playplay!" Wycliff shouted loudly, waving his arms about a bit to accentuate his excitement.

Osso shook his head with a smile at the boy's attempts to say his name, though he didn't try to correct him when he only said "Osss." Turning around he started to run back to the playground, but soon put on the brakes when he remembered his shorter and younger friend. Osso really wasn't one for waiting, as his tugging on Azumi had shown earlier, but he made an acception of this green hued boy. The bone child knew how hard it was to move quickly when he was little and so, he stood there patiently half way from the playground and Wycliff.
Ears twitched when they caught Tori's reply and she looked back at the two boys for a second before answering. "Nothing much, really...Though now that Osso is bigger I'm hoping to be able to bring him to the main 'Zon Corp. field study post." She paused for a moment before continuing, knowing that no one knew of 'Zon Corp., but she wouldn't explain unless asked to, and so she just continued,"being a slave to paper work at home isn't much fun day after day..." Tail swished and then coild some what around her leg; this seemed to be a habit of the half werewolf.

Wycliff frowned slightly as he pumped his little legs. They just wouldn't propel him as fast as the taller boy was going! The little Rhino-boy smiled as he noticed Osso slowing for him, and worked even harder to catch up with him. "Osss!" He panted slightly, coming to a stop beside the Bone-child. As soon as he had caught his breath, Wycliff tugged on Osso's hand, willing him to keep going. The playplace was right in front of them, they couldn't stop now!
"Ahh, well..." Tori frowned a bit, raising an eyebrow. "As long as you guys will have fun..." He nodded slowly, wondering exactly what Osso would be doing with Azumi. "Paperwork can be fun, if you...well, do fun things with it, or..." The tall man flinched slightly, trying to think of something to say. "I guess it would be boring, after a while..."

Azumi chuckled,"like making paper airplanes? Then it would be..But my boss put me in charge of writing up everyone's field reports instead of them doing it themselves. He said since I had "nothing to do" that I could do their work...I'd like to see him take care of a kid." She scowled a bit as she talked but her expression soon switched back to happy mode.
Osso giggled and soon followed the younger boy while connected at the hand. It was soon that they reached the area and the bone child broke away and started to climb up the stairs. "Let's go to the slide, that's the fun one!" he said over his shoulder and then turned his hollow gaze to the big yellow tube slide.

Tori chuckled slightly, nodding. "Yeah, paper airplanes are always fun..." He turned to the side a bit, studying the Mishaps. "I am sorry you have so much boring work to do...Do you think you will still come around the Mishap HQ after you get your normal job back?"
Wycliff nodded a bit, trying to look mature. He wanted to impress the other Mishap with his amazing skills, although he hadn't quite figured out what those skills were, yet. The little Rhino-boy hefted himself up on the stairs, climbing them slowly, one at a time. "S...Slllllll....Ssslllllaaaa...." He said, trying to sound out the word Osso had just said to him.

Black ears perked up as she answered, orange metal ear cuffs catching the late afternoon light,"Oh of course! I think Osso wouldn't forgive me if I stopped going. And besides, all his friends and people we know are there." She moved her wine hued eyes to the playground as she watched her boy help Wy,"maybe when Wy is older, you two can come see the field post yourself! It's truely beautiful and the animals, there's a bigger selection there than at any zoo!"
Osso stopped and tilted his head, blonde locks flopping to the side as well, as he tried to figure out what this Mishap was trying to say. "Sssslllaaa?" he asked, a little confused despite the answer being pretty obvious...
(Wondering, have you finished Wy's growth quest? )

((Sorry, this week was OMG BUSY. >__< Anyway, yeah, I kind of thought I had, but he hasn't grown yet, soooo...><; I must be missing something...))
"Ooohh!" Tori perked up immediatly at the mention of zoos, and even more since Azumi had said that the place where she worked had an even better collection. "I...er, I mean, we would love to go! I would love to introduce Wy to his dominant species, the Rhino..." Tori nodded slowly, smiling at his Mishap. "As long as Osso and him end up liking each other and such, and not going at each other's throats or whatever..."
"Slllll.....Slllllllaaaaaaa...." Wy frowned, pursing his lips slighty. He was usually pretty good at this kind of stuff. "Sssllllaaayyyy..."

Azumi chuckled and laughed at Tori's apparnt interest. "I'm affraid 'Zon Corp's main place doesn't have any rhinos and the animals aren't set up in cages...In fact they're not caged at all. But we do also have two posts in Africa where rhinos DO live, though that would involve a very long plane ride....." she paused for a moment before perking up again," you know, if you wouldn't mind the plane, I think we might actually be able to go to the post in South Africa...." She placed a finger on her lower lip as she gazed at nothing in particular. She was trying to think if there were any ways the could not go, but she couldn't think of any and a growing excitment of a trip was growing.
Osso scratched his head and started to look around for anything that would have a similar sound/word to whatever this green child was trying to say. "Um...Slay?" No, there were no slay's here,"Slide?" He looked around and pointed to the slide.
S'ok! Did you post whatever you did for your quest in Wy's journal?

((Do I have to do that? I didn't know to do that, is it in the rules? >< ~Goes to check them again, as he is stupid~))
"Oh, wow, that would be amazing!" Tori smiled broadly, his whole frame seeming to vibrate slightly with his excitement. "Wycliff would love to see some of his base kind, I am sure, you know? He is always around humans, but never other rhinos, and it kind of makes me sad..." The tall man frowned slightly, lowering his eyes to the ground. "I try to show him documentaries, but the rhinos on them are so small, since they are shown on TV, so Wy doesn't really pay much attention..."
Wycliff nodded several times, his ears twitching with happiness. "SLIDE!" He yelled, waving his hands around in his normal guesture of accomplishment. "Slideeee..." The small Rhino-boy giggled softly, rushing foreward to tackle-hug Osso.

(( Yup. That way we know that you've completed it! ))
Azumi grinned as well as she clapped her hands, "great! I can also get some work things out of the way there as well instead of having to go later on....They've actually said they found something a little odd, not sure what though," she mumbled the last part mainly to herself since the fact had just reopened in her mind. Flicking an ear she seemed to almost bounce with excitment,"I'm sure Wy will absolutely love this as well as Osso! ohhhh, I can't wait now!"
Osso gave a whoop as the smaller Mishap managed to say the word correctly. It was during his second whoop that he was cut short with an,"hmph," as the rather strong boy went into him. The bone child stumbled back a bit, but managed to keep his balance some how and returned the hug in the best way he could due to their height difference.
"Slid time!! Slide time!" He yelled gleefully after letting gor of Wy and making the rest of the way up to the slide.
