The park seemed the best place that they could go to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, and be out of D-Corp. Maria was excited by the idea having never left the place as of yet though she had been to all sorts of interesting terrain rooms with her older brothers.

Maria was bundled up in a thick, warm winter coat that was a bright purple color that matched her eyes. She was also wearing mittens, a scar, sweat pants, and boots... Ligeia was being a bit over protective as he didn't want for her to catch a cold. It seemed a little strange having her bundled up though when he was walking around in shorts and a tank top, completely impervious to the cold.

The pair were sitting on the back of the large Frost Dragon Vorel who was currently moving in lazy circles toward the ground below, soon enough they were touching down and the owl jumped down first giving a flutter of his wings, "Alright, where do you want to go first?" He asked, motioning to all the different playground equipment that was laid out before them with few people around to compete with.

The little girl gazed at all the toys with wide eyed amazement, head tilting slightly to the side before she pointed, "There, please." She murmured wanting to try out the HUGE slide! She was a great fan of heights so anything she could climb up on to make herself feel bigger was fun! She stood up on Vorel's back before she jumped off of him and into her brother's arms.

"Slide it is." Ligeia said as he caught the little girl out of the air, not something he'd be able to do much longer given he was a bit of a light weight. He set her down on the ground, holding her hand and led the way to the slide with Vorel following behind them making the trio look like some of strange procession.

Leo was sitting on a the swing set, staring up at the dull sky as he moved back and forth with Mr. Scruffles in his lap in a monotonous fashion. Today he wore a green jacket with blue jeans, along with mittens that looked similar to his dog and a rather ugly blue hat as well. He wasn't really all that much into playing, though he did enjoy this cool weather. His father, the over-grown cat man known as Deet, was on a park bench, pretending to read his book while watching his youngest son. Deet, a jovial man in nature, was more than a little concerned about how few friends Leo actually had.

Leo looked over, and was instantly fascinated by the young man with the feathers and the young girl about his age with him. He slowly climbed down off the swing, the rag doll tight in his grasp as he walked over. He stared up with fascination as the little girl ascended the stairs of the slide.

Ligeia followed his little sister to the top of the slide, waiting for her to be seated before he fluttered down to land at the foot of the slide, "Alright, any time your ready." He called up to her, prepared to catch her.

The little girl gazed down at him with wide eyes, her long, armored tail curling and uncurling behind her. She didn't seem quite ready to get down, instead seemed to be looking out over the park from her high vantage point. It was nice being up high she thought to herself, one could see the whole world from up here... or at least a great portion of it. Being a bit sheltered the little girl had no idea how big the world truly was.

Her eyes paused in their back and forth searching before falling upon the one walking toward them. She blinked a couple times before lifting up a gloved hand to wave at the one walking their way. While she didn't know him she didn't yet know the 'no talking to strangers' rule of life.

The owl tilted his head to the side before turning to see who she was waving at.

The young pig was still fascinated by the patterns on the owl-boy's wings, staring at them intently until the girl on top of the slide caught his attention. He could tell she was about his age, and was bundled up as much as he was. He found himself quite interested in her tail, which was far more dramatic and interesting than his own little curly one.

Finally, he noticed that she was indeed waving. At him. As he did when any one outside of his family payed attention to him, he shyly smiled and turned a little more pink than usual. Adjusting his rag-dog so that he actually had a free arm, he waved back meekly.

A smile appeared on the little girl's lips before she wrapped her tail around herself and went down the slide to the waiting arms of her older brother. She gave a little giggle when she once more had her feet on the ground as she started over toward the boy she had seen from her high perch.

Ligeia watched her go, taking in the one she was going to see and let her go on her own, the little boy wasn't someone he needed to worry about after all. The owl moved back to sit with Vorel who had found himself a spot to lay down just outside the sandy part of the playground.

Maria stopped when she reached the boy, her tail unwrapping from around her waist so it could swish behind her, "Hello." She greeted him.

"H-Hi..." Leo asked, blushing, extending his pudgy, gloved hand, "...My...Name is Leo." the shy boy said. If Deet had been paying more attention, he would have been ecstatic that his son was actually meeting kids his own age and even introducing himself.

"Um, uh, this is, uh, Mr. Scruffles...." Leo said with a shy smile, "He wants to know your name."

Maria looked at the boy's hand and then reached out to take it in one of her gloved hands and gave a soft giggle, "Leo." She murmured, finding that she rather liked his name, "Nice to meet you Leo, Mr Scruffles. I'm Maria Solon." She told them with a bright smile.

She looked over her should to point, "That is my brother Li and his dragon Vorel." She gave them a rapid wave of her hand to get their attention and Ligeia waved back causing no end to Maria's delight.
