Child  Name: Neflheim Gender: Male Personality: Despite what his icy-looking exterior might suggest, Neflheim is actually a very friendly and sociable boy. As his icy exterior prevents much physical contact with most people, he shuns physically touching people, giving off the impression that his personality is as icy as his skin. Cheerfully optimistic, Neflheim always has a witty response to snide remarks made about him and tries his best to be as friendly as possible. As a result, Neflheim has no shortage of friends despite his inability to physically touch them for long periods of time. Summer time is when Neflheim is most happy as most of his friends are most willing to touch him and play with him. His cool skin enables his friends to have a "chill out" session even under the scorching hot sun. Lacking physical contact with his friends is made up for when he is with his Guardian. Midas has an uncanny ability to turn his skin into gold, preventing frostbite and damage to his skin when he comes into contact with Neflheim. This allows the pair to easily touch each other without fear of hurting each other.

Dislikes: Humidity, coffee, being rushed and eating sprouts of any kind
Appearance: Midas stands tall at a height of 6' and fills his broad muscular frame with a healthy weight of 165 lbs. Sporting short black hair, cropped neatly at the sides, Midas has a preppy look to him. Despite rarely going for tans, Midas has a tanned and flawless complexion and looks darker than most Caucasians. His body bears no scars, birthmarks or blemishes at all, owing to his uncanny ability to turn his skin into gold.
In warmer weather, Midas prefers to wear just a tank top and a pair of jeans. Complimenting the outfit, he would flip flops or sneakers. In colder weather, Midas usually dons a knitted turtle-neck sweater and a scarf. Jeans and boots to go along with his winter outfit. Colours he favours are earthy colours such as beige, brown and orange, and white.
Personality: Midas is a very optimistic and fun-loving young man. He never fails to lighten up the mood and drive away any sullen or gloomy faces. He is quick to please and tough to anger and even when angered, Midas rarely flares up at his aggressor. Choosing to write out his feelings onto slips of paper and bottling them up literally. Due to his fun-loving nature, Midas is able to work well with his colleagues, but doesn't fair as well with his superiors.
History: Under ill-health, Midas' mother gave birth to him and passed away after labour. Due to his inauspicious birth and the fact that parts of his body were covered in gold at birth, his father abandoned him at the steps of an orphanage. Growing up, Midas became steadily aware of his powers. His skin hardened into pure gold and protected him whenever his safety came into question, almost as if his powers were instinctual. Gradually, he was able to conjure forth his gold plating at will.
The orphanage was sponsored by a very wealthy oil conglomerate and offered many chances for tertiary education. When Midas turned 18, he was tested and shortlisted for university education. Leaving the only home he knew, Midas immersed himself in his education and managed to attain top honours. His education came with strings attached and Midas had to work off a 5 year bond with the oil conglomerate.
Currently, Midas works as a consultant for the oil company, doing sporadic research into more efficient extraction of oil.

Relationships
Maddy - Neflheim sees her as a potential good friend in the long run and would like to interact with her more.
Joshua - Neflheim didn't get to know Joshua as much as he would like to and wants to meet up for a play date. (Given a goldfish as his SS)
Lucien - Neflheim loves the energy the Lucien has and almost seems to resonate with his vibrant personality.
