That's right. PD has been canceled. crying

Source.

Summary: They will show the rest of the episodes, either in the current timeslot, or in another. Also, Bryan Fuller is talking to DC comics about continuing the plots in comic books, and he has a pitch for a movie.

I don't think there's much of a chance...there's only seven episodes left. Sometimes the networks are too set in their ways and won't renew a show, like CBS and Moonlight.

I know I'm not a member of this guild, but I love Pushing Daisies too much to not express how I feel about its cancellation.

I was devastated when I heard this bit of news in the paper yesterday. I knew that the ratings were sucking, but I was completely heartbroken to know that the one show on American TV that I love with all my being is going to be cancelled.

From the first time I saw Pushing Daisies in a commercial, I was immediately reminded of Tim Burton's films, and I thought, "Hm, this might be a show worth watching". And I was totally right! It's more than worth watching. It's a gift from the television gods. It has everything I could ever want in a show: humor (oh, how I love its sense of humor <3), quirkyness, some darkness, suspense, mystery, romance, and most importantly, depth. For me, every new episode was like a treat. The storyline is intriguing, and I simply love everything about it.

I am so angry (and sad; I really feel like crying when I think about it) about its cancellation. I have never really liked any shows on TV that weren't cartoons. (And even most of the cartoons these days are awful.) Though I love The Office, I could never say that it was close to being as good as Pushing Daisies. PD was like the one ray of hope for TV for me. "Hey, maybe television isn't a waste of time afterall! Maybe people finally realize the difference between a good show and a sitcom about a family who gets into shenanigans and has an idiotic studio audience laughing in the background. Oh, maybe, just MAYBE, people will see the light and realize that TV shows need more than a not-so-funny family and secret agents dodging explosions and gunfire! People might finally realize that the key to a good show is depth! Maybe-!"

And then I found out that PD is getting cancelled. I have lost almost all faith in television. I'm only 15 and I'm already thinking that 98% of the shows on TV are crap. Wow, I feel old.

I really do hope that they make a movie! That would be so amazing.

But what I'm just trying to say is that I love this show so much, and I will never, ever forget it. <3

I was so angry when they announced that PD was canceled. It is such a good show, well, was a good show, since the last episodes have already aired. I hope they do make a movie to finish it though, because the ending did not satisfy me.
