I finally told my parents and my friends. My friends quite accept me for who I am, but my parents literally hate me. We got in a huge fight and I told my dad that he didn't know anything about me.
Of course, he said "OH WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU! WHAT DO WE DON'T KNOW? WHAT DO WE DON'T KNOW?"
I replied "My favorite color, my favorite note (which I've told you before but never listened), my sexuality..."
"WHAT? SEXUALITY? WHAT DO YOU MEAN SEXUALITY? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"
"Like if I'm straight, gay, or whatever..."
"YOU'RE STRAIGHT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!"
"Wrong."
"THEN WHAT ARE YOU?"
"Bisexual." He told me that being bi meant getting in bed and having s** with a girl or boy. I told him no, it meant that I wanted to have a relationship with them. Now that pretty much hate me, but I don't care. Now wherever I go I can feel like I can be myself, instead of being so hidden.

that's cool! friends are usually pretty accepting. all of my friends that know are totally cool with it.. although one or two say that i'm not bi. one of my friends is all "i've never seen you crush on a guy, but you've crushed on like 7 girls" xD congrats on telling them. but it's usually recommended that you shouldn't do it when you're in the middle of a fight, cos it can cause more hostility? but they should hopefully cool off after a while. good luck with that though. and congrats again! =]

yeah, i gotta agree, during a fight is the worst time to mention it... but still, congrats. i got into a fight after i said i was gay, but even so, after awhile, they'll be a lil more accepting. just let time pass. i'm glad your so happy about it! it's relieving, huh!!! congratulations.

Yes, I know, and thank you. I guess I just had to let it out... I couldn't take it anymore... living under such a lie... I am who I am, and I'm proud of it!

I am who I am, and I'm proud of it! oh god, i know exactly how you feel. my mum was all weird about it, she said i was "confused". i just gave up, now she kind of ignores the subject every once in a while, and sometimes she flips out when she notices things. it's hard to live a lie, it really hurts. 'specially when you can't talk about who you have a crush on, or how so-and-so looked so cute today. it sucks.

Congrats on coming out =) Hm.. coming out in arguement... I've almost done that before. But decided against it cos it probably would have made it worse. Things should calm down, so try not to stress out =)

Don't worry. Life happens and one day your parents will see you happy with someone and they will no longer care that you are bisexual.Plusm parents can never really hate their children. Its just a shock to them thats all.

They don't h@e you, since a lot of kids tell thier parents they're gay and stuff just to make themselves feel like thier parents have no control over them. I've seen it WAY to many times. (I'm not just saying th@ either.. XP ) But he may just think th@ th@'s wh@ you were doing since it's so common. All my friends and stuff know, my parents don't yet though. =P I know they wouldn't care but my dads a little homophobic (is there a seper@e word for bi? Biphobic?) He'd accept it but I don't really see the point in telling him @ this point in time. It'd just be unnecessary awkwardnes. My mom certainly wouldn't care either. =P (Does anyone else actually stick thier toungue out when you type th@ face? XD )

Yay! Uber-congratulations! 4laugh I'm sure that took a lot of courage, because honestly? I just sent out a huge email telling all my friends (but they knew already) and family that I had a girlfriend, and was bisexual. I'm pretty much lesbian now, I feel next to no attraction toward the male subspecies, heh. They were oddly accepting about it, the complete opposite of what I had expected.
But good on you heart -Evey
