Well, Twilight the movie came out in theatres. Ohmy. =o

Since many of us (or perhaps just a few..i don't know.) are buying posters and stickers of Edward and Bella, why not join the band wagon?

i personally haven't read much of the series yet; i'm not too fond of the whole vampire falling in love scenario. Though, if Twilight starts turning into a "Harry Potter Epidemic", then i might just read the books and compare how silly the movies are. xP

It's HEEUGE. And the movie was great. It seemed like half the school was in the one theater. And I've read Twilight and New Moon. I can't seem to get someone to let my borrow the others ; __ ;

All the girls in my English class were screaming about Twilight even after watching it.
We wasted a whole class talking "dicussing" the series. xD

Le gasp.
I haven't really watched it - it hasn't come out in the UK yet, but if I see any 14 year olds screaming, I'm going to cummit suicide in the parking lot.

I have read the first 3 books but the movie sucked compared to the book and I guess they said that Stephanie Meyer isn't going to write any more books because she was starting over again but in Edward's point of view but someone stole it and put it online so it hurt her feelings and she is not going to even finidh the book

Honestly, the movie annoyed me a little bit. The girl, Bella, for some reason breathed too much. I know that sounds stupid, but I know what I mean x] She gasped between every word and stared way too much, it's like, just spit it out love!

I have read the entire Twilight series. I have not seen the movie, nor do I wish to. Personally, I believe that the basic idea is good and the characters are well developed, but the plot jumps and moves. There hardly seems to be a connective tie between everything except for the fact that Bella wants to be a vampire and Edward doesn't want her to be. For some reason, and it's probably because I'm a huge Jane Austen fan, these books remind me vaguely of Persuasion. The only reason I read the books is because my two older sisters forcibly sat me on a chair and held the book in front of my face. In the end, I decided it was too much hassle and read them myself. Stephanie Meyers did well, yes, but perhaps fantasy simply isn't my thing. I just couldn't get into it as much as my sisters who were bemoaning the fact that they were older than Edward Cullen.
