"This isn't working," Kilah stated blankly. Tossing the sharpened stick behind her, she sighed heavily and leaned to the side onto Gizmo. The griff didn't seemed concerned over her annoyance--only Kilah would get aggravated she couldn't get a stick sharp enough to saw someone's hand off with. "I'm bored."
"Wark."
"That's a stupid idea."

"Pell, dammit, come back here!" Wotcher was at his wit's end. Today alone he had had to deal with screaming red pandas, whining reptiles, and now a rampant mango with wings. It was just so wonderful.
"Kilah!" Pell's excited voice alerted Wotcher to another person that was near. Oh thank God... But when he remembered who it was, Wotcher wasn't nearly as excited as Pell was. The evil little chicken girl. Ah well, she would have to do. "Hey, um, what was your name? Oh yeah! Kilah, I've got to do something, but I'll be right back, you can watch Pell for me, right? Okay, bye!" Not even waiting to see if Kilah agreed or not, Wotcher ran, almost in a gallop, out of the mansion gates, leaving the grinning Pell with Kilah.
((XD Yay for babysitter Kilah!
And I know technically Pell is still a baby, but you don't realize how old that quickly gets. So for, like, right now, she's a toddler. Sue me. @@; ))

(WTFyeshuh. XD Kilah was a baby once too, you know.)
"Ki-"
"But-"
"I-"
"Okay..." After various attempts to get a word in, she managed to do so only as Wotcher was running away. She could hear his feet against the ground. Yup, definetly running. When such a sound was no longer there, she turned her head toward the other Sin's voice and nodded. "Hey," she greeted. "What'd you do to make him dump you on me so fast?"
The last time she'd heard someone run that fast was when Noyama was leaving her with someone else back when she was that little...

((But Pell has been a baby for over six months! XD Or something. Of course, I haven't been around the majority of that time, but...XP; ))
Still grinning, Pell explained as best as she could. "Put lotsa stuff in the hot box! It all goes boom!" Giggling, Pell peered up at Kilah. "What we gonna do today?" She asked it with much enthusiasm, like she would love nothing more than to spend a day with Kilah, queen of all.
((The hot box is the microwave. XD))

(True. XD)
"Oh..." What the ******** was hot box? Amazingly enough, Kilah didn't know what a microwave was, so the thought 'hot box' was refering to that never occured. Noyama didn't have one at their house--and if it was for constant nagging by a few within the 'family' she wouldn't have anything that required more than sunlight to work.
The word 'boom' still led her to believe it was trouble-making. She knew Pell was good. Pell was also a "little" kid, and she hadn't made any plans to entertain one today. What could they do? "Uh, I don't know. We could..." Could what? Play dolls? "I can teach you some spells and we could go cast them on people. Mess up them and some s**t." Shrug. It seemed like a good enough idea.

"Oooh...s**t!" Wotcher said that word when he was angry! Pell had always thought it was a bad word, because Patrick rolled his eyes at Wotcher whenever he said it. But if Kilah said it, then it must be all right! "s**t."
Pell didn't know what spells were, but she did know what people were, and she liked people! So this 'game' must be just fine. Besides, it was Kilah's idea. "Okay. Teach spells and mess people an' s**t. Sound fun!" Grinning more widely than ever, Pell waited for Kilah to continue.
((Bad Kilah! Teach Pell cuss words. Naughty, naughty...XP))

God damn! What was WITH kids these days?! So impressionable! Just yesterday she'd had this problem with Junketsu, too. "Don't use that word when your protector is around," Kilah warned. "Or anyone who might rat you out. You could get locked in your room for a long time." Not that she ever had, but that was probably why she spoke so freely no matter who was around.
"Uh, there's no one around here right now." It would've been damn funny if someone had been. Like Aard. They could turn his hair some hiddeous color or something. With Pell around, she'd be able to identify which colors qualified as good and bad ones. "We'll have to go into the city."

"No use s**t-word 'round Wotch?" How come? Kilah had just proven it wasn't a bad word. But if Kilah said don't use it, then Pell wouldn't, of course. It was all so confusing...
"Yay! City!" Pell clapped her hands at the prospect, quickly forgetting about "s**t-word." They would have fun in the city, surely. With so many people to "mess up," it would be a regular ballpark to Pell. "We gon' walk?" Just even walking across the lawn sometimes made Pell's legs hurt! The wings on her back didn't help any either. They always got in her way.

"Of course not." Walk? As if. Since when did Kilah walk anywhere? "We'll ride Gizmo." Had she not been blind, she likely would've used her griff slave friend for a mode of transportation just as often. Never once had he complained about it, though the thought of 'messing up' people didn't seem to appeal to him too much.
He could fly pretty quick, so it wasn't all that surprising how little it took them to reach the city. When he landed in an alley between what looked like a liquior store and some long-abandoned building, Kilah helped Pell off and shooed him back.
"Okay, shhh," she demanded, listening carefully. Target approaching!
"Like, oh my God, he really said that?!" One of three teenage girls giggled as the trio slowly made their way unknowningly to the two Sin'aeis.
"Stay out of sight," Kilah whispered, sliding back a bit. "We'll start with something simple."

Before Pell could even ask a single question, she was pulled onto the back of the griff and whisked away. The experience of flying was new to her and oddly exhilarating. Surprisingly, she had never questioned what the damn feathery things on her back were for. Maybe they were more than annoying add-ons...
As Gizmo landed, Pell slid off his back with some reluctance. She had liked flying. But as the griff left, Pell quickly forgot about him as Kilah spotted the three girls. Silently obeying Kilah's order, Pell crouched behind two metal trashcans, peeking through the crack between them. This was going to be so fun! She couldn't wait to see the girls' faces when they were 'messed up' by Kilah! They too would think it was fun. Pell just knew it.

Alright, what to do first? Nothing too horrible. Not that she went for that whole 'too young to be exposed to such terrible things' bit, but she didn't want Wotcher coming after her for tramtizing his kid. She liked Pell, but wasn't completely positive what she considered a 'prank' and what qualified as 'cruel'.
"Okay," she whispered to herself, leaning back against the wall. The footsteps and giggle sounds were getting closer. "Watch this," she said down to Pell, taking a deep breath before chanting a few words. She grew silent just as the trio was about to pass them.
"Oh my God!" One shierked suddenly. "Y-your hair! It's..it's...it's green!" An ugly, dark shade of it, too. The other gasped and quickly pulled a strand infront of her face, eyes widening.
"OH MY GOD!"

Pell gaped at the girl a few seconds before erupting into giggles. This this was 'messing up?' Though the girl didn't seem too happy with her new hair color, Pell still thought it was rather funny. Besides, it's not like Kilah had hurt the girl. In fact, Pell kind of liked the green a bit better than the bright, bleach blond it had been.
"Do it again, Kilah! Again!" From behind the trashcans, Pell continued to grin at the confusion of the girls. They were still standing there, screaming at the unlucky girl.

Kilah chuckled. "You got it." Speaking at normal volume was no big deal now. Hell, they had to talk louder if anything to be heard of the screaming. With another spell--a few words changed--another batch of screams erupted.
Her hair had gone from blonde to green, and now her shining blue eyes were a blindly shade of red. "S-she's a witch!" One of the two still-blonde girls squealed, pushing the other forward before taking off herself down the street. The second hesitated briefly despite the nudge, and then too hurried after her friend.
"Come back!" The third whined, hurrying after of them. Mind you, none of them ran very fast in those high heels, but that was beside the point.

Pell giggled even louder as the girls screamed at the new change. There was just something hilarious about the three girls being mortified over a simple change of colors. Pell was just about to tell Kilah to change something on one of the other girls when, one after the other, they turned and fled.
Watching the retreating girls with a hint of disappointment, Pell stood up from behind her trashcans. Looking at Kilah and sighing for the second time that day, she asked, "What now?" They could change some more people's hair color, but after a while that would get boring.
Kilah would have another idea, of course. Since she was queen of all and stuff.

Kilah scratched her head. "Hmm." Why was she encouraging it, Gizmo wondered, whining. He didn't like where all this was going...
And where else would it go but in front of a pet store? A nicely sized one at that. "Don't catch anything on fire, Gizmo," Kilah warned before she pushed the door open and motioned for Pell to follow.
Without even looking at them, an employee called over and said he'd be right there. Kilah completely ignored him and moved forward without even Gizmo, running her hand along the side wall for guidance instead.
It wasn't all that difficult--she knew right where she was going, and the loud squawks, chatter, and chirps made it simple. "Aren't they pretty?" Kilah slyly asked with a grin, the three of them now standing in front of many a bird cage with various species inside. "But look, they're trapped in these cages! I wonder what we could do about that...?"
