Ok, so one thing I'm sort of struggling with, but forming ideas for, is who to give the bouquets to.
I really want to do this in more than one forum for a few reasons: First, the people who don't visit the GCD, which seems to be the main forum for goings-ons, don't get in any of the fun.
Second, I want to show everyone that people from other forums are just like them. There's no invisible barrier between forums. And it might not hurt to try other forums and see what kind of people are there. :3
So by giving out a bouquet and invite to all different forums, everyone on the site can get involved, and everyone is forced to play together. XD
What I'm thinking so far is this: A topic in 7 or 8 different forums. The topic is appropriate, and hopefully something that attracts everyone. If a person posts in that thread, they get added to a list and get a bouquet and an invite. That's it. That way, the bouquet goes to someone who's active.
Also, I want to allow anyone to join the guild. If you're crew, you can invite people. So everyone should be able to get in if they want to.
To become crew, when you post in that crew thread thingy, you have to hold a bouquet. So, even if you get invited in without a bouquet, you might be able to make your own. And that's ok!
I'm struggling with which forums to pick to set up threads.
I know for sure I want to do these: GD GCD ED CB
I think they're the big ones. Ones I'm thinking about are: Writers LD Barton Entertainment Discussion AT
So I dunno. What do you think would work?

Tread carefully in the LD/ED.
I post in those reguarly, even if you are being nice they will bite your head off 'THIS SHOULD BE IN THE CB OR CHARITY FORUMS, RAWWWRRR!'

How about Site Feedback or the Questions and Assistance? They have lots of active regulars, although its harder to make talky threads there.

Yeah, this is probably the main problem... I guess you could disguise each topic to fit in with the forum it's in, though.

Right. Hm. Well, if I don't outright say I'm giving these things away in the topic... All I have to do is make a topic that everyone will want to talk in! So easy!
... Not.

Poor you. XD I have no idea how the other forums outside of GD, AT, and GCD are. I was only in Barton because my younger sibling needed people for his Disgaea RP. Which died rather quickly.
And I STILL haven't figure the AT out. XD Maybe extreme avatar matching isn't my forte.
And yeah, including GCD, GD, CB, and ED into the main ones is pretty good. XD We have a hate/hate relationship for some reason. D:

The CB would be difficult, because it's just so freaking huge.

You have a thousand Bouqets, so it would easy to say, pick ten forums, and give a hundred out in each. And you'll want to keep a checklist of people who've recieved Bouqets so you don't double gift them.
If you say, for instance;
CB GCD GD AT SF QA LD ED (Tread Carefully) Writers Friends Chat
You could probably give a hundred out in each of them, if you had members of your guild post regularly, in a non-spammy way.
Those are just suggestions after a quick look through.
Phear my organisation skills! If you can't think of a topic for each; ask us. Personally, I'm pretty sure most everyone would do their best to help.

Definitely, we're all here to help out and have a good time. When you're ready to spread the cheer then just holler and we'll be ready to come to your aid. By the by, it may be an idea to make a holiday themed thread based around each forum you want to post in to separate it from the jumble and jive of the everyday talk.

Might I add that this was an excellent idea for a membership drive. Congratulations. Very committed, very well done.

What about the Music forum? You can post the "In My Pants" game, where people post the name of a song and then "in my pants" after it.
Format: "(Name of song) in my pants." Example: HotnCold in my pants.
Same thing works in the literature section, but with books. Or perhaps you have to do those in GD or CB? -DisasCatas
