Tyler lounged across a row of beanbag chairs, watching each of her children intermittently. Most had taken to swimming in the heated kiddie pool (Marion included), but some others had wandered off to have fun elsewhere. Kyle and Elena were currently engaged in a game of Simon Says led by a park and rec worker, and Bogey was with the younger kids, rolling a ball against a wall so it would bounce back to him.

Harriet smiled gently as he ushered his children into the park and rec center. His three daughters and son had all come along for the day, and were individually interested in playing. However, they all had very different ideas of how the play should commence.
Ismerauda had shyly wrapped herself in a large towel, feeling shy and embarassed. From the waist down she had horsey legs, and her small pink swimsuit showed them and her tail off more than she expected. It was just a one-piece with a little skirt, very similar to her normal clothes, but the child felt more nervous than usual. So, instead of heading directly to the pool, she went over to investigate the younger kids with their balls and toys. Maybe she could find someone to play with?
Quietly, she walked over to Bogey and stuttered a little question. "Coo-cood, I p-pway weeth yoo?"
Adele, on the other hand, was eager to dive right into the water, dressed for the occasion in true Adele style. He wore his usual little rainbow cape tied around his bare shoulders. A pair of swim trunks and some slightly large flippers adorned his lower half. And just to add to the utter silly of his whole ensemble, he wore a large pair of goggles and a snorkel. And soon enough, the kitty boy was hopping into the water.
Alice was also wearing a swimming outfit, but hers lacked the skirt Issy's had, and she was wearing shorts over the bottom. The girl found herself more interested in the Simon Says game taking place, so she went over to investigate and greet the children. Though, how to ask without interrupting?
Harriet smiled as he left his kids to have fun and went to go find a seat on one of the remaining beanbags so that he could relax and watch his little ones. He wasn't really worried about any of them getting into trouble, except maybe Ismerauda - the horse girl was a little more fragile than the others.
Bella was the only one who hadn't found something to do yet. The Belune was still standing near the doorway - out of the way so people could get through - taking in the room. She really hadn't experienced anything so big....or seen such a large blue water holding thing, so she was curious about the whooooooole room.

Bogey looked up at Issy, eyebrows raising. He was either surprised or excited; it was often hard to tell with such a quiet child. His ball rolled into his buggy-feets and he stared down at it. Well, why not? It was always nice to have someone to play with.
Marion giggled at the small splash caused by Adele's entrance and rubbed the over-chlorinated water from her eyes. Her swimsuit was a two-piece rainbow getup, lined with yellow.
"Hi!" she chirped.
The worker raised her arms.
"Simon Says reach for the sky!" Kyle and Elena both did, concentrating very hard on the peppy woman in the blue hoodie.

Issy smiled gently at Bogey and sat down on the floor across from him. Yay, the little multi-armed boy would play with her. She didn't like being alone, which was an odd combination with how shy she was. Oh well, playtime.
"Aloha!" the kitty boy said when he'd surfaced, nearer to the yellow haired girl. How fun! Someone to talk to!
Alice, wanting to join in, raised her arms as well, reaching as best she could. Maybe they'd take notice of her and let her stay.

Bogey giggled and rolled the ball to Issy with his lower two arms while sucking on the upper two. He didn't talk much, certainly, but his face and body language were rather expressive.
Marion waved and pointed to Adele's snorkel.
"What's that?"
"Stand on one foot!"
Kyle did, and then snapped her fingers. She'd lost! Oh well! She sat back cross-legged, watching her sister and the new girl.

Issy smiled and rolled the ball back. She didn't really do much pushing on it - he wasn't far from her and she wasn't that strong. This was fun! And easy.
Adele smiled. "S'a snorkel. I use it so I can breathe underwater. The funny straw thing let's me get air even when I'm underneath. And the goggles keep the water outta my eyes so I can see." he explained.
Alice just barely kept herself from lifting up her foot. Had to wait for the Simon Says bit, that was the point of the game.

Bogey was tiny, compared, and so he was glad that Issy wasn't going to pummel him with ball-rolling.
"Bo-dee," he said, introducing himself as best he knew.
"Cool! Can I try it?" Marion asked. She liked the idea of being able to breathe under water! And seeing too! It burns her eyes when she tried without a magic 'goggles'.
Kyle giggled and clapped.
"Good job! What's your name?"
Elena looked over. Was Kyle talking to her? Nope. Alright!

Ismerauda smiled and pointed at herself. "Issy." she intoned, hissing the double 's' in her nickname just a little instead of making it a 'z' sound.
"Sure!" Adele laughed and removed his goggles and snorkel - careful to wipe off the mouth piece of course. He wasn't opposed to sharing, even odd things, so he didn't mind so long as she gave it back. Carefully, the boy helped her put on the goggles and snorkel. "Try going under now."
"Thanks. I'm Alice. And you are?" the angel girl asked with a smile.

Bogey nodded and just kept on playing.
Marion nodded, adjusting the goggles so they didn't hurt her nose so bad. She ducked under then, closing her eyes out of reflex. No, wait! Goggleses made it so she could open them! She she did, she was greeted with no burn, only a clear view of her feet and floating bandaid...and she could breathe!
"Cool!"
"Kyle," the girl answered, wiggling her toes.
"Simon Says put your arms up! Simon Says put them down! Simon says put them up! Put them down!"

Issy wondered vaguely if she should say more to the boy, but she was much more content just queitly rolling the ball back and forth.
Adele laughed. "Yeah, see?"
Alice lifted her arms and dropped them, then lifted them again. She was about to drop her arms once more when she realized the woman hadn't said the full command and she had to keep her arms up.
"Nice to meet you Kyle." she called over her shoulder.

Elena, however, was knocked out in that round. She dropped to her knees and pouted. Kyle patted her shoulder. Elena dodged away. She was most assuredly not a happy camper.
"Yeah!" Marion said, popping out of the water.

Alice decided that since the one girl had spoke to her, she'd stop playing and go talk to her instead. Walking over, she sat down and grinned at Kyle.
"Is she your friend?" she asked, pointing to Elena.
Adele laughed. "Can you swim much?" he asked with a huge grin on his features.

"No, she's my sister," Kyle said, smiling softly, "We go everywhere together."
"Only because we have to," Elena grumbled.
"Yeah, I like to swim," Marion said, nodding a bit sadly, "It's too cold to swim outside now, though."

"I have a sister too. I have two of them, and a brother. My little sister's over there playing ball with a little centipedey boy and my brother's playing with a little blonde girl." the angel said, squinting around to catch where her sister wand brother were. Bella was still kinda lingering and wandering about.
"Why are you so grumpy?" the angel asked, turning back to Elena with a smile.
"Well it's nice and warm in here. Race you!" Adele laughed and started off swimming towards one end of the pool.

"That's my brother, and that's my sister!" Kyle giggled. Mommy said things like 'the world is so small' or something, and she was sure she'd say it now! Kyle giggled and started to braid her hair; a silly habit.
"Shut up," Elena barked, "It's non'a your business."
Marion tried quite hard to keep up with the boy, and she luckily had much less drag. She was far too practical to wear a cape in the pool! Her muscles got tired and sore, though, and she stopped to tread water, frowning.
"It hurts."
