The silvery rays of the moon always fascinated Taigi. He would look to the moon and see a new picture imprinted into it's spherical form every night. Today, it bore the slight impression of a three-petaled flower. A cloud was coming in, though, a pale gray cloud not unlike the fog-like striped upon the colt's own back.
The unicorn sat atop a mild bump that was a slope separating the forest and the open plains. The bit of hill that the unicorn foal sat on was just outside the forest, as he'd never dare wander too far from his homeland. There was a mass of flowers that liked to reside in this area as well and a patch of them formed a crescent-moon shape around the young Soquili. He sighed and awaited the moon's triumphant return after it ushered the cloud away.

Contessa trotted around the forest glade playfully following the rays of the moon while nearing a clearing , smelling of wildflowers and a mountain breeze circling around her, she stepped forward . Closing her eyes she followed the rays of the moon, but then stopping once the light was gone. In a subdued voice, "where art thou moon?"

For a great while everything was still except for the autumn breeze whooshing by. It tossed his mane about, throwing his bangs into his eyes, but it also swerved and turned in such a way that it picked up a voice. This pleasant sound was eaten up by the colt's eager ears, leaving the trail of wind bare and lonesome once more.
The sound came from nearby, as it wasn't worn away and Taigi could make out words. The moon? A feminine voice whispering of the moon, most interesting. Whatever or whoever it was didn't sound in the least bit vile. The unicorn knew that it was also coming his way, so he felt no need to move. He chose, instead, to look to the moon again. The stronger winds above apparently decided to at last chase away the sphere's concealing blanket.

Contessa bounced upon seeing the moon again, calling out "welcome back" while it's light shinning on her, but moving swiftly moving away as if playing. she wandered down after it finding a bunch of flowers, and something else, venturing forward she called out "What is this that the moon has shown me tonight?'

The voice grew closer, approaching Taigi's resting spot. His ears swerved to better understand the direction from which it flew and found that the eastern wind was helping it along.
Soon after finding this out, he craned his neck to better see the last trees of the forest once more. A dark shape, outlined by the moon to resemble another Soquili, was making its way to him. It had a slender, feminine look and the moon revealed two starred markings and short auburn hair brightening her features. He smiled at the shape, hoping for it to be friendly, and froze in waiting.

"Hello." As simple a reply as it was, he needed the empty mind to scrutinize the approaching other. The mare, as he found her to indeed be female, had a dark body, so it wasn't a trick of the shadows after all. The moonlight was now "spotlighting" her, almost, and he could see a two-legger made trinket dangling 'round her neck as well as two feathers of such creation adorning her mane. She had bright blue eyes, shining with the moon's light, and a single yellow star outlined one of them.
She seemed friendly enough.

Contessa stepped forward as if he had invited her, and smiled down on him. "what are you doing here this fine night?"

That was strange. For once, an adult that had no concerns about the fact that a young colt was out on his own. Out on his own at night. It wasn't bad, however. "I'm watching the moon, miss." He gave her another friendly smile. If she wanted to harm him, she could've, or would've done so by now.

smiling back Contessa laughed," maybe the moon wants you to chase it," speaking in a joyful manner. looking around for the moon's light while also glancing at the colt.

Taigi's face molded into such a structure that one wouldn't expect to see a child wearing. His eyes were suddenly serious, determined, brows knit together. "I will.. One day."
The 'mask' disappeared after he gave her a swift nod to accompany his words and a grin only a child could pull off pulled at the corners of his mouth. But a particular glimmer stayed in his eyes, never leaving. 'I will travel the world. The moon, the sun, I'll chase anything and everything.'
