Lucinda was a faelon that had spent much of her life in her cottage in the middle of the forest growing her mushrooms and herbs. She was there alone mostly because other fae found it quite difficult to spend an extended amount of time with her. Not that she minded really. Well, sometime she minded, but those moments were hardly frequent. After her parents passed, Luci found that she wanted some, at least, occasional company. That's how she thought up the idea for her shop in the nearest town.
Her shop was quite popular but only seasonal, being open 3 months and closed 3 months, since she grew all of her products. Tangerine Trees' main attraction was her mushrooms that didn't taste like mushrooms. She had quite a few lines of them, some tasting like fruit, others whole meals. She also took the time to grow rare herbs to sell. And on any given day she had a few dishes made from here wares as samples, free to anyone who came in.
Luci's shop was set up in a quite peculiar manner. First of all she had a habit of being open for 48 hours at a time. Also, lights were very dim at all times, the shades being drawn. (But that's what happens when your the girl with kaleidoscope eyes.) And then, everything was kept as clean as clean can possibly get, thanks to her random bits of O.C.D like behavior. It was this perfectionist style of cleaning that she was partaking in when she heard the bell ring, signaling she had a new visitor. She quickly came up from her knees, as she had been scrubbing the corners to give a wide goofy smile to the newcomer. "Greetings!"

Food. The spectacular, drool-worthy scent of good food...
That was something Goku hadn't smelt in a while. Living on his own, far off from others, he often just ate what he could pick right off of trees and plants. Occasionally he would catch and cook a fish, on the days when he wasn't entirely exhausted from his harsh training routines.
The strong male's stomach rumbled as he stepped into the shop, eyes glazed, following that scent. For once, the need for some kind of social interaction had called him away from his training to go and meet a few people. He had left his home, picking a random direction to travel in. He'd have to cross paths with someone if he went far enough!
That cheerful greeting snapped him out of his dazed thoughts, and he was quick to return with a goofy grin of his own. " Hello there! Do you run this shop? ... Er.. I hope it's a shop. " He said, blinking and looking around suddenly.
He hadn't been paying much attention when he entered, so for all he knew he just stepped into someone's home. He was rather relieved to see that it was indeed a shop.

"Why yes! Yes I do!" She ran her paws over her fur straightening it out. "What can I help you with today?" She was smiling quite wide. Too wide to be exact, her muzzle having a grin the chesire cat could be fond of. Her eyes were wide as she smiled at him. It appeared that she was on something, but she wasn't. She was just...unique.
Once his eyes got adjusted to the dim light the surroundings were much more clear. Each wall was lined with shelves that held her various herbs and things. While in the room there were lines of tables that held her mushrooms. Then, next to where she was standing was the counter, a few dessert treats in bowls on the top. Though, the smell that had attracted to him came wafting in from the back room.

He let out an impressed whistle as his eyes adjusted and he could take in the sight of the shop better.
He set his eyes back on the Faelon girl, grinning widely again. " Well, some food would really be nice.. Though I don't have any kind of money... " The grin turned sheepish as he brought a paw up to rub at the back of his neck. " Maybe I could repay you with some chores? Need anything done around here? "
Work for food. That had always been a fair trade that had worked well for him in the past, though not a lot of place has accepted his trade. Most people just wanted the money.
" Name's Goku, by the way! What's yours? " He said quickly when he realized he hadn't even introduced himself yet.

She had changed stances while he whistled, looking quite military and precise. Her paws were clasped together behind her back and she nodded. "The food is free, but things could be done." Her head tilted as she though, that goofy grin coming back, stance the same.
"Here. I'll fix you something." She said after a moment, her voice resembling that of a child. She gave him a nod and disappeared into the back, the sound of dishes rustling about as she went to fix him a plate, well a rather large one. When she came back she had a whole tray of food. "Herb roasted chicken, wild rice with mushrooms and spices, an egg drop soup, and some fresh garlic bread." She may have been a peddler of shrooms but this crazy girl new how to cook...most of the time.

Golden eyes went open wide as the food was brought out, and slowly he moved over to a table, sitting down. " Mmmm! It smells so good! " He called out happily, eyes fixed hungrily on that food. Son Goku was a creature who would do just about anything for a good meal! Food was one of the main joys in life.
And that she could make such good smelling food. Well, that practically made her a Goddess to him!
He smiled brightly at her, monkey tail curling around the chair leg. " Thank you. "

She set the food down on a table for him, clearing away the mushrooms so he could sit. "Dig in." She would slip into the back again getting some drinks. She came out with cups and two jars, not knowing if he partook in alcoholic beverages or not, so she asked. Once she had the proper answer she poured him a glass.
She always enjoyed it when faes at her food. Of course they were always skeptical since mushrooms have been known to cause...things to happen. And she had those kind but she gave them out sparingly. People were especially skeptical since she looked like she was on something all the time.

Considering the skepticism she'd received in the past, she may be very surprised to see that Goku began practically inhaling the food the second it was set before him.
There was no hesitation at all as he dug into the food, finishing it in record time before downing the non-alcoholic drink to finish it off. A wide grin stretched across his lips as he leaned back, patting his stomach.
" That... was absolutely perfect. " He tilted his head a bit, sitting up properly. " Thank you miss... Though, I would still like to know your name. "

She was indeed surprised, but her face wouldn't allow her to express it. She watched him inhale her food, sipping on her own drink. Her ears perked. "Oh yes. Lucinda. You may call me Luci." She gave a nod. "Nice to meet you Goku." She smiled as she preceded to clear of the table. She was having some trouble though since there are bunch of dishes.

" Luci... " He grinned, holding out a paw across the table to her. " It's great to meet you too! "
This was a place very much worth coming back too. He couldn't even remember the last time he'd eaten that well. " So what kind of things did you need done around here? For a meal like that, I have alot to repay you for! I'm pretty strong, so hopefully I'll be helpful. " He said, giving her a playful wink.

She looked at him with a smile, emptieing her paws to shake his. Her grasp was firm yet feminine. At least for this moment. "Well for starters that meal messed up a lot of dishes that I haven't got the chance to get to. And I bought a new door for the shop." She really didn't want to ask much, but she didn't enjoy dishes and the door was quite heavy.

" Well you can just leave those things to me then. " He said, giving her hand a squeeze before he let go, quickly gathering the dishes on the table back onto the trey. He stood up, lifting it up easily. " Kitchen's back here right? "
He asked, already heading to slip through the door she'd come from and find the kitchen. As he went, he continued chatting away, weither she listened or not. " Geeze, you really saved me you know? I was starving. Cant remember the last time I- ... Actually, I don't think I've ever had food anywhere near that good before. "

"Yes, it's in the back." She gave a brief nod, giving him her usual wide grin. As he went, she followed him into the kitchen. It wasn't a kitchen in the normal sense, but it did have a sink, counter and stove-topped oven. The rest of it appeared to be just be shelves of books and dishes. Upon further inspection it was obvious most of the books had to do with gardening and cooking.
"You're too kind." She gave a giggle. "I'm not that good of a cook." She paused. "Yet."

" My stomach disagrees! You're great. " He grinned happily, quickly getting to work on the dirty dishes after making his way to the sink. He was very careful not to accidentally break the glass. That would be a bad way to repay her kindness!
He was finished with the dishes in to time, setting them out to dry, before looking over to the Faelon, smiling. " All done! Now, where's this door you want to put up? " He asked curiously, rubbing his paws dry on his pants.

She gave a soft giggle to his compliment. "Thank you." While he was busy with the dishes she went about dusting her recipe books. Many of them had post it notes hanging out of them where she wanted to try them. She had picked one up and was studying it when he asked about the door.
"Oh! The door." She slouched her way out the back door. The door she wanted put up was a very old-English style wood door. Around the edges there was an intricate engraving. "This one. Be careful, its quite heavy."
