Okay then, I know we already have a drawing thread, but I think we should have one dedicated to art in general, and not just drawing. Discussing artists, mediums, etc. To start off, I drew Pink. =]  And Stykz because he's... Stykz.

There is an art thread. We were considering an Art subforum but we unsure that it would be used. We already have subforums that are half dying.
Nyz those pictures are awesome! But Plethora does have a point and they should be posted in the art thread.
However talking about art itself and artists most certainly can go here.

But l_e_g, it's a drawing thread. And I'm pretty sure that some people here create art that is not in the form of drawing [like Stykz's photography]. Can that go here too?
It just makes sense to me to have a single thread for all kinds of art and not separate threads about different kinds, that's all. sweatdrop

Look Nyz, I'll make you a deal. I will consult with the other mods and if, and only if, everyone shows an interest AND a commitment we may be willing to give you all a separate art subforum where you can make your own threads dedicated to your own works rather than having a mass of "drawing", "painting" or "photography" thread floating around as they often get lost and forgotten.
How does that sound?

I can see you're point but considering that the other thread has been used for basically any art form anyway - so long as it was self produced - so this one is sort of lost on me.
Perhaps we just need to make it clear which is which and keep drawings in one and other forms in the other.
I love seeing everyone's work though, keep 'em coming.

Then why don't we just switch to this thread, which actually makes it clear that other art forms are accepted instead of keeping the old one?

Ok then it's settled. We'll get rid of the other thread but I'll give everyone fair warning to move or save any work they may have posted but not kept.
We'll make this the official art thread and I'd also like to make later on an art theory thread to discuss artists of influence and such.
Does that sound fair?
