I think Sony should be proud of that figure considering the PSN is so poor compared with Live? Personally live is better because it has cross game chat and cross game invites, which are the only two feature i think psn is missing. People say stuff like connection and stability are issues with the psn but i have found it to be just as stable and if anything less laggy, than live.
But I'm 100% sure that there aren't 14 million user on the psn because most people i know have mulitple accounts. i get the feeling it actually around the 9 million mark of people who actually go online with the psn.
But i think the same goes for the 360, untill Microsoft releases data on how many people have gold, we will never know how to compare the to.

Evalad I see no point in having two accounts, but I suppose if you know people who do, there's not telling how many does... If you live in Europe then you get s**t PSN Store updates, so most people i know have american and japanese account, so they have access to all the demo's and games and such.

I think the PS3 needs cross game invite, also better voice chat but other than those to i can see why the psn has 14 million members

Twisted Thinker 2 UK accounts, 1 american, and 1 japanese... Well being ******** in the arse by SCEE is very annoying. I have 1 account but i was tempted to make another twofor SCEA and SCEI.
