 "N'Rai!!" A loud voice fills the air around the bushes that is outlining the lake and the bushes began to shake when someone or something moves from one bush to other impatiently. The small zorse usdia detests the fact that his normal sized adopted sister always wander off without warning him so he could follow her like a small protective shadow. Corann bursts out of the bushes with twigs and leaves stuck in his mane and tail along with berry smeared on his sides, looking very messy but he doesn't really care for his appearance at the moment.
Corann frowns to himself as he trots toward the lake to drink since his throat is sore from screaming for his sister. "Meh.." He mutters grumpily as he bent his head down to drink some of cold water.

 Winter was coming gradually as the leaves changed to all different hues. Now was the perfect time for a romp out in the open.. well no wait this had to be a secretive mission for such a bold and brave little usdia mare. Flicking her ears she snuck into the tall drying grasses and noted another of her kind near the water.
At first the little spotted mare thought better of the situation to do such a silly thing such as catching him off guard. But really it was pure fun to initiate a mission of that accord. Smiling with amusement her eyes flickered a dazzling blue. Crouching downward she flicked her her ears and tail with a plan as it evolved in her head. This was perfect training for such a little apprentice of Kunai's watch. Blinking the little mare known as Shirahime crept in closer grinning with sheer delight if she could spook him into the water.
Moving steadily she waited till just the right moment before tearing out of her hiding spot and literally pouncing with a playful bite toward the little stallion.. Scrambling past him she laughed waiting to see what chaos she caused.

Corann have this funny feeling in the pit of his stomach that he is being stalked by something but he is not sure what is stalking him. His golden eyes darts back and forth, trying to repel that feeling but it is still there. Frowning mentally, Corann resumes drinking but his heart seized up when someone pounced and bit him which sent him crashing right into the lake with a loud shriek. Corann surfaces coughing and gasping for air while swimming toward the shore after flailing around for few seconds.
Looking like a drowned rat, Corann finally climbed out of the lake and glowers at the usdia that is responsible for him almost drowning in the lake. "It is not funny to do that to someone you haven't met before!" He huffs at the snow leopard mare while shaking his body like a dog would to dry himself off. Kicking one of his hind legs behind him as he moves closer to the snow leopard mare, eyeing her suspiciously. "Who are you? What is the thing around your neck? Why did you scare me?" Corann bombards her with questions without sparing a puff of air for himself.
After he is done firing off the questions, Corann took his time looking her over and is surprised that he actually thinks she is very beautiful and different mare. But his eyes keeps coming back to the blue band with silvery thingy on it strapped around the mare's neck, wondering what the heck that thing is and if its hurting her. The stallion frowns in concern as the last thought worries him and he impulsively moves forward to try to free her of the blue band around her neck.

Shirahime was a prankster at heart and boy did she laugh when he got the surprise of his life. Her giggles were highly contagious as she nearly rolled when he emerged wet and strangly from his uneventful encounter with a ninja usdia.
But things soon turned against her when Shirahime had a spooked stallion coming at her with so many queries spoting out of his little muzzle. She blinked in a surprised fashion backing away slowly as one hoof scraped over an unseen sharp rock. Stumbling she paniced but refused to run as the snow leopard stands her ground. She knew her error was the cause of his anger but the little mare wasn't so quick to whisper an apology either.
"I'm a ninja, "she replied with a flick of her ears. The little mare was merely an apprentice, a gennin in training under the great copy ninja's daughter; Kunai.
As he stepped forward she noticed intensity of his gaze upon her headband. Her eyes shifted to watch the male curiously while at the same time fearful he was going to atteck her.
Quickly she spoke, "What are you doing....". Rearing up she pushed back from his advances to relieve her of the restraint. "That's my headband... its not hurting me silly." She glared almost insulted then became level-headed.
Titling her head she watched him then spoke once more, "Its comon knowledge to offer your name to a ninja before she'll speak her own. So until I know who you are... I will not explain my actions to you." Her head raised quite high as she looked confidently at the handsome male. She was a proud little female aspiring to be the best little ninja she could be.

A smile tugged at Corann's muzzle as the snow leopard female's giggles is indeed contagious because he wanted to laugh as well but he forces his mouth to stay in a scowl position. He tries not to look concerned as the female stumbled backward but he couldn't help but to lunge forward to attempt to stop her from falling to the ground. The question "Are you all right?" is at tip of his tongue as he moves closer to the female.
But the question dissolved when he could see that she is all right when she replied like nothing happened. "A... ni...nja?" Corann tries to pronounce the word as he stares at her in confusion. "What is this... ni...nja?" He stumbles on the word 'ninja'. He began to wonder what the ninja is as he continues to eye the headband curiously. Maybe this 'ninja' associates with the thingy around her neck... Corann muses as he watches the female curiously. Now he wants to get to know her.. after he stop puffing and huffing about the near death experience (in his opinion).
"Headband? ninja? I have no idea what you are talking about so... " Corann snapped as he tries to regain his composure as he smiles slightly at him. "Sorry.. for my attitude.. so can you please explain those things to me?" He asks as he looks at her with a faint apologetic smile. "I am Corann.. its my pleasure meeting you." He bobs his head as he smiles at her sweetly.

She eyed him with a strong yet feminine look upon her features. He was quite the curious type in her eyes. Shifting her little front hooves she laughed at him with shining cyan orbs blinking at his dismay.
"Okay good... you honor the code. My name is Shirahime. Nice to meet you Corann."
Where to start she wondered as her mind wandered this way and that. Well he wanted to know what a ninja was right? Best to start there and instruct the normality to her now exciting way of life.
"A Ninja is a soldier that fights to protect their homeland or someone that are hired to watch over. They are strong and full of surprises. Quiet and versatile they are the ones you truly can count on in a pinch" she explained as the little mare puffed out her chest in pride.
She watched him carefully then went on.
" As you can see by this emblem, " she pointed out with the raising of her chest and shoulders, "I am a ninja in training... soon to be the best around next to the greatest known ninjas alive." She was merely doing this to hear herself, Shirahime loved the limelight after all.
Musing she leaned toward him still accenting toward the headband, "See this? This was a gift for all my hard work. Kunai is the daughter of Kakashi after all so it is with great honor I accepted it you see." The little mare watched him closely as her eyes trailed up and down his finely patterned stripes.
Whoa he's cute!
For a moment she forgot what she was saying as her little blue orbs still trailed up and down and all around those neat stripes of his.

Corann's golden eyes meets with snow leopard female's light blue eyes as he smiles even more widely when he finally got the name out of her. "Shirahime? fitting name for a pretty female like yourself" He says without feeling ashamed about telling her truth even if it looks like he is laying pick up lines on her. "I want to know more about this 'code of honor' and everything about 'ninja' thingy." He grins with tongue poking out of his mouth at the female while being his naturally curious yet silly self.
His eyebrows quirks up in amused manner as he tilts his head to side little bit, watching her with a grin on his face. "So almost every soquilis that is not a skinwalker or kalona is a ninja yes? since we all have to fight and defend our own homeland." He says while not quite REALLY getting what Shirahime was trying to explain about ninja. Corann smiles at her cheekily to get her to keep explaining more about the ninja thing because he wants to know all about this ninja female in front of him.
"Oooh.. ninja in training... that is very neat! Can I become a ninja and get the thingy around your neck?" Corann inquires as he eyes the band with interest then his eyes began to wander down her body, admiring her spots and the beautiful shade of gray that covers Shirahime's body. He finds that the female is very beautiful and very interesting looking because he never seen any spotty females before. His eyes wanders up toward her snow-white mane and tail with a smile on his face, thinking that her mane looks very soft.
"Hm.. you stopped talking." Corann finally spoke up as he realized that they were looking at each other in silence for while and he was getting little bit uncomfortable with the silence since he was still learning about Shirahime and she suddenly stops talking. Corann offers her a huge smile to show him that he is still paying attention to her while his eyes admires her snow leopard spots.

She blinked with a bit of blush that circled her cheeks in a raspberry hue. He was staring right at her! Quickly she blinked again and laughed away that heated feeling in her cheeks.
"Hmm?" she stumbled in her thoughts looking away from him for the moment, "To be a ninja is to be dedicated and bring recognition to those you protect and fight for. We give our lives for that very cause." she nodded looking back into those deep eyes of his.
"Far as Kalona and skinwalker... well yeah the other races protect the land and stuff. But to be a ninja is more special. You have to be seen in the eyes of another ninja as umm... well better then the average soquili." she grunted with a little flick of her ears. She giggled to herself being a ninja master for training, but she was a gennin or novice herself really.
"Well umm you'd have to talk to my master if you want to be a ninja-in-training." the little usdia nodded puffing out her chest as the sunlight beamed off the metal plate. She knew his eyes were glued on that little wonder Kunai had granted her with. Maybe it was a shot to ask her sensei if he could learn the ways of ninja.

Corann noticed the blush circles on Shirahime's cheeks and grins even more widely because he thinks the blush looks very good on the snow leopardess. Now he have found another goal in his life and that is to make Shirahime blush whenever he can. "Blushing looks very good on you, Shirahime." He compliments Shirahime to see his words have any effect on her. Trying his best not to look hopeful or eager to see the blush, Corann moves toward the lake casually.
"Sounds like a honorable job, Shirahime. I have no doubt you will be a great ninja around." Corann says with a cheeky grin shot over at Shirahime then he lips at the water to look like he is drinking because he doesn't want her to detect that he is flattering her just to see her blush. "Ooooh....." He nods as he understood what the snow leopardess was trying to say. "Then you are the best ninja because I think you are better than average soquili!" He says with a huge triumphant grin on his face.
"Who is your master, Shirahime?" Corann inquires as he moves away from the lake, with water dripping off his muzzle. He actually enjoyed saying Shirahime's full name because it is like honey on his tongue, tasting very sweet. His eyes continues to flick back and forth from the headband to her divine sky blue eyes, resisting the urge to move in and nuzzle her to see what she would do.

She stood there, that little mind racing back and forth making her really feel awkward. Did he see her blush that much? Honestly how was this becoming of a ninja in training she worried to herself. No emotion. Yeah right he was looking at her purposely for a response... but he's so cute.
Snap out of it Shirahime!
Clearing her throat as he wandered away from her she murmured, "It does?" The little feline spotted usdia never really received compliments like that and really didn't know how to handle it all. Trying to grasp for a little composure she felt her cheeks lessen then fully flare out red with uncertainty.
Okay. So maybe he does like me. That's cool... I think.
She then followed him to lake curiously knowing he had made a comment. She was rather fond of him too actually so the feeling was mutual. But onto other matters for now...
"Yeah exactly! I am a great ninja... Glad you picked that out Corann. See I know a good candidate when I see one." Her eyes flickered a shimmering blue before puffing out her chest.
"Kunai, daughter of the great Kakashi copy ninja. She's my teacher and awesome at what she does. Did you know her father trained Sasuke and Naruto who trained her? Its like this great big family bloodline thing going there." Trilling almost in her speech she giggled yet stood rather proudly in front of him. He was so adorable and he wanted to be a ninja. What was there not to like about him she mused.

Corann bobs his head rapidly as he looks at Shirahime. "It definitely does. You should blush more often.. in fact, I am going to make it my goal to keep you blushing." The cheeky usdia smirks at the female to see if he could get her to blush more often.
"So you will train me to be a ninja right?" Corann gave her a huge grin with water droplets dripping from his muzzle. "And darn right, I am a very good candidate. I am good at sneaking.. I am good at flattering and I am good at .. um.. ninjaing!" Corann blinks as he finds himself trying to 'sell' himself to her and he lips at the air thoughtfully.
"Kunai? Kakashi? Sasuke? Naruto?" Corann blinks as he frowns as he tries to remember who they all are while he cocks his head to side, pondering. "That's awesome! A huge family bloodline and you are part of it which makes the family even more better!" He beams at her before he takes another mouthful of the water, wanting to show Shirahime that he can be sneaky as well. He casually turns back toward her and suddenly spout the water at her. "Haha! I got you!" He cheerfully crowed.

"I should?" she blinked in shock and yet laughed I mirth at him her eyes sparkling. That was a silly thought to cause her cheeks to flush like they were, but he liked it apparently. So she should continue to see what happened? This was just plain silly and yet she loved the attention.
She stepped closer watching him a ninja in the works. He was good at sneaking he said. Yes sneaking was essential it was divine. It definitely got you where you wanted to be undetected. As she watched him she grinned more in spite of herself. He was a silly one wasn't he?
"Ninja..ing? Well uh...." she followed him curiously but not too close of course. She was fascinated at how ambitious he was really being at the moment. Her eyes blinked widely trying to keep after him yet she still grinned with determination.
"Um yeah its a big bloodline and they are like so famous for...." she paused in her words forgetting what she was saying as the water sprayed on her via his ninja tactic. For a moment she wasn't sure if she should be cross with him or congratulate for how wonder he was in wanting to become a ninja.
She shook her snowy white mane letting the water droplets fly back at him and smiled. There no reason to be angry when she wasn't hurt or anything. So she just played right along, "Haha yep you got me. Hrm wonder where we can get you a temporary headband. No wait that's when you become a ninja. A sash might work so you can get used to it. But um where do we find one?" That was quite a predicament at the moment. What were they going to do she wondered.

Corann's grin grew more wider when he sees her cheeks flush more darker and he was feeling quite gutsy so he gave her a kiss on cheek along with a sweet nuzzle along her muzzle before he quickly retreated. "Well.. let's teach me some ninja skills, shall we?" He gave her a roguish grin.
The zorse stallion grins cheekily as he sees that he finally succeed in being a ninja and sprayed water in her face, the swell of pride grows inside his chest while he couldn't help but to strut around briefly with his tail arching into the air. He lips at the air once again, looking little bit goofy when he does that while he finally stops strutting around when the female spoke again. "Awww... no actual headband for me? That sucks." he grunts as he watches Shirahime carefully.
"Oh..!! There is two-legger camp not too far from here. We can steal from them. It will be a fantastic ninjaing practice for me!" Corann suggested eagerly with excitement shining in his golden eyes. "Well.....?" He cocks his head to side and tries his best to look cute like a foal would in order to get what he wants.

Ninja skills? Her head started to feel light from his kiss and nuzzle. Not only did her cheeks stay deep and red like a raspberry but she was forgetting where she was. She blinked blinded for a few seconds wondering what a ninja was. Who was she? Why was she here? Who...
Thinking really hard she looked directly at Corann and the memories flowed back like a giant tidal wave. It was the oddest thing that had ever happened to her since she could, well remember where she was.
"That was really weird," she said shaking her head again "Anyways never mind... we need to get you something like a ninja headband. That we do."
Then she pondered on his idea knowing it was fully risky but she liked it. A ninja had to be sneaky and they wouldn't be hurting anything, right? Just grab a sash or fabric band and disappear into the night. Just like a ninja!
"Okay! Let's do it! But well you need to follow me and do as I say, because if we get caught we'd be in big trouble. Deal?" she asked with a flick of her ears.
Indeed they'd have to be very careful, but her heart lived for adventure. This would be so much fun.
