Thus far...Quote: Aria sits like a lump on a log cooling her face with a large fan she found at Pan's apartment.Bounding through the trees now shedding their leaves, Phoreko glanced about... searching. His gimped wings quivering slightly as the wind swept through them.Erios decides not to make himself known as he knows he has other things to do in a few minutes, taking notice to fluffy butt on the log wondering why she is fanning herself with a fan when she can use her fluffy butt. His attension turned to the Wini bounding around.( Special Saku Cameo! XD) What a boring day she thought knowing no one was around. She fluffed her tail feathers and stood up, looked around and slowly walked towards a small wooded 'berry path'Phoreko lifted his skull-like face upward, lapping at the air. There is another... He bounded through the trees for a few extra moments before bounding down into the brush mound below, attempting to blending with her surroundings of moss and debris.Aria stopped suddenly and listened. What is that?...a bear? She felt a bit nervous even for a demon. She didn't like to get dirty and a scrap with a bear was not in her plans for today...or ever.A sneer attempted to form upon his face: the act of stalking prey... it was intoxicating. With his tongue lolling about without any support, he bore his talons into the soil with each stride before emerging. Hello, Lovely... surely it's not wise to wander about all alone...Aria let out the loudest scream ever, her eyes sprang wide. Only the ones close enough to her telepathy range could hear her scream since it was after all 'in their head'. He shuddered, his mind throbbing from the scream that now reverberated through his skull. Shaking his head quickly, Phoreko took two quick strides forward and arched his tongue forward. As much as I thoroughly enjoy the sound of screaming I do not appreciate my mind being flayed!Arry glared at him...it...in shock. You're a telepath too? She stared at him astonished for a bit then put her sour face on. Well maybe if you weren't flailing your ugly mug in my face I wouldn't have screamed!! She yelled in his head once more her tail fluffing up agitated.Annoyance set in. Phoreko lashed his tongue outward in attempt to wrap it about her throat. Well, you can't expect an ugly mug like myself to jabber on without a jaw, now can you? He took two strides forward, placing his face right in her own as he wound his tongue a bit tighter. Now, my pretty, be a good girl and humor me... Arry glared at him and rose her eyebrow. She lifted one wing and twaked him on the head. You should learn some manners around ladies! She huffed and her scarf blew out with her breath.

Re-Post
Manners? Phoreko snorted, shaking his head before winding his talons into her scarf. With a yank, he pulled her to meet his line of sight. No one has ever earned that privilege with me.

((decided to bold it so you can read it better :3))
Her scarf was her most cherished possession. It was given to her by the one demon she ever trusted with her secret. For him to be grabbing at it with his filthy paws... enraged her.
"Unhand my scarf...now!" She smacked his paw away with more force than her first blow. "How dare you lay a paw on it." Her last movement shifted her scarf and it fell from her scarred, mangled face. If looks could kill she had one on her face now.

Emerald pools seemed to ignite with enragement as she struck him. Such an act would most certainly result in retaliation... and not the type one can recover from easily. Just as his talons unsheathed, the scarf descended from this intriguing beast. Though not as grotesque as his malformed face, but she too had been kissed by disfigurement.
My, my... what have we here? due to his face consisting of nothing more than bone, his sneer manifested within his eyes.
Even the most brilliant of gems has its flaws...

Arry quickly tied the scarf back around her face. Yes...a burnt child dreads the fire. Now leave me alone. She turned on her heel; her tail low but not dragging, her duel set wings ridged, and her walk was tense. Memories flooded back to her of that dreadful night when the one she was bonded with eons ago betrayed her.

He could help but laugh, as if it were an involuntary reaction. As she turned her heels and began to stride towards a beaten path, Phoreko began to make his way beside her.
Now, now, my sweet... underdeveloped wings of waxen hide caressed along her ample plumage.
You cannot show me such a fascinating portrait and not enlighten me of the artist...
Shrewd... twirling the vunerable within his palm. The entertainment value was immeasurable. Put on a show of seeming genuinely concerned and take advantage of the ensnared, that was one of his many strategies. After all... the pain of others outweighed his own. It was the perfect coping strategy.

She veered away from his touch. "I'll tell you nothing..." She stopped and turned back to him. "...until you tell me your story first...for sure you weren't born like that." She looked up at the large Sequoia tree and sized up the branch. She spread her wings and bounded up the tree with ease, small bits of bark fell towards the ground. She stretched herself out and looked down at the demon. "I'm not waiting all day..."

Perhaps this beast's entertainment value was wavering. A snarl erupted from his matted throat as he pawed forward. For a moment, the atmosphere about him trembled until his very existence ceased. Did she search him out? Maybe... but within moments, he manifested upon the branch above her. His claws strained to play at the prongs of her antlers.
Quid pro quo, eh? I'm not fond of delving into my past with someone who has nothing to offer me... no one has earned the right to know of my past. Just as no human has earned the right to be bonded to me.
A quick snort of disgust...
Mortals and Winiko alike... I detest them... that's why... Shifting his weight about, Phoreko leapt down to a neighboring branch to her perch so that he may face her. The reverberation of his horse voice intensified.
... I kill them...

((changed the color xD It was giving me a headach))
She watched and listened. Quite an interesting character...full of himself but interesting all the same. She smirked. "I agree with you..." She touched her face and stared off. "...more on the mortal part...though there are very few winiko demons I can tolerate."She dug her talons into the bark and made large craters. She let her tail fall around the branch. "There are not many that can tolerate my company." She laughed lightly. "Now lets talk about that offer..." She looked at him wickedly.

No one had managed to take him a back in such a way: she was still persisting? Moreover, she seemed to stand beside him on his very outlook on life. Peculiar...
You are truly unique... I'm sure you can imagine the type of response that I would have received by now.
His typical snort accompanied this statement before he positioned himself in such a way so that he was lounging on the sturdy branch.
Despite my hatred of Winiko, perhaps I'll allow you to humor me for a bit longer... So, what is it that you are willing to offer in order to hear of my dismal past?

Persistent Arry was. She rarely let something slide that she wanted to know badly enough. This 'book' she wanted to know more about. As bitter as this ol cow was her curious nature wanted to know why this demon despised immortals and mortals so much. She was also having fun with this one...indeed.
She thought on the offer and grinned.
So is there anything you would be looking for in particular?
She tilted her head and stared him in the eyes. Honestly she really had no sweet clue what to offer. Maybe Pandoras' first born? or there was that new one horned demon Pandora summoned that her crush, Eiros, fell for...She smirked. She was still bitter on that but then again when was she not bitter.

A banished soul such as himself, in actuality, needed very little from strangers. Moreover, his lack of companionship ensured that he alone would be the provider for any and all that he would ever need. In the past, anytime he encountered another who had resorted to begging for their own life... a trick, a fool's promise was sworn. Perhaps he would ensure their safety, only to devour them moments later. Yet this beast of the same cursed blood now seated before him... he could use her.
Swear yourself to me: Anytime I may need you... you will come, without hesitation. What I ask of you, you will do. Otherwise... you may not have anything to be quite so vain for anymore.
Denounced the emotionality of flesh, the sneer that he had felt emerging remained hidden. Though this proposition was out of character, it could serve him well. After all, having a single soul at his beck and call could prove be useful... in more than one way. Not only this, but the permanence of the accord rested in his possession alone. That fan of a tail would make for a lovely trinket if his fascination for the Winiko spoiled....

Me? Her mind was all of a muddle now. What good am I?
She laughed. Are you sure you wouldn't want something else?
Her mind flashed back to the thing of a winiko that stole 'her' Eiros. If she did see her again she would probably do wrong to her. He has moved on. But Arry has not. She then thought of something.
I'll throw you this...I'll come when you call if you will do the same for I...and you will know all about me and my shadow.
She was unsure if that would fly with him.
Birds of a feather 'should' flock together... She repositioned her wings.

Propositioning with the bargainer: it was bold. Talons of mangled bone and cartilage wrapped along the branch he had named his own. With each wrap, slivers of casing fell free from the dagger-like appendages. It could work, he thought to himself. He was still in control. She may call... but he his not obligated to obey.
In that instance, Phoreko lifted his emerald eyes to meet her own:
Very well...
Barbs felt as if they had enclosed about his chest. This was not in his nature, yet than again... nor was it for him to allow this beast to live for as long as he had.
Ladies first, madam, a lowl of his exposed tongue allowed for it to churn... as if finally satisfied with the ordeal.
