I think I wish it wasn't rated R. That's really unnecessary. Isn't the point of Watchmen the thought it requires and the questions it asks rather then the gore that just happens to, well, happen?
The same mistake was made in V for Vendetta. Every time I see commercials for it being played on TV I think, "Hey guys, I can haz plot back please? Thnx." Instead of sticking to what made the book good (the plot) they said, "Hey! Everybody loves the crazy guy in the mask! Lets give him a butt load of fight scenes! That oughta sell!" Now I have to explain to my friends and family who haven't read it that, no, it isn't an exploding gore fest. It's a psycho-drama and what-if epic that happens to end in the fiery fall of a nation. And yes, V is awesome, but that's not even the main focus of the book.
What I want to know is this: Who's going to go see The Spirit? (or whatever it's called)

Watchmen was an awesome movie. Hope it gets an award for something, like best story. Rorschach is my favorite character. The opening credits was pretty good.
What was The Comedians motive?
A thumbs up from me.
Can't believe Inked mask went from 50k to a million gold. Dropped to the 300k area. I should've bought it when I had the chance.
I didn't watch the spirit yet. Looked good.

I saw watchmen and the spirit. Though I didnt like spirit that much, watchmen was amazing

i love that comic i have the comic book and the movie in wide screen and regular screen alan moore is my all time favorite comic author
