Beachy-keen -- Private RP Players: Sevilin, Alex & Zul Setting Gambino beach; moderately warm day
--- We`rika's eyes were either focused on the road or on the radio, checking the time. He had agreed to drop off Sevilin at Alex's house during his lunch, but he sorta forgot until half his break was over and his charge basically clawing at the door to be free. Now he had to time to get back to work. "Don't speed. You're gonna get a ticket and you can't afford another ticket..." The sea nymph chided in the front seat, holding tight to his seat belt. "I will do wha' a bloody like. If I wanted a nag, I'd have bough' a mail order bride mmkay? So shush yer candy hole... Besides it's back roads, cops aren' gonan eb around here. Is' too remo'e..." He took a sharp right down a beaten path led to a solitary house. But it was a very nice house, pretty big too, that lucky b***h. He pulled up to the porch and looked over to Sevilin. "Have fun and be good mmkay?" "I will!!" Rolling the window down, he floated out and waved to We`rika. "Byye!"Turning around as his guardian sped off in a cloud of dirt, the little Frei floated up to the front door and knocked eagerly, excited to see Alex's house.

The door opened seconds later, and would find the Raevan enveloped in the embrace of a very excited woman.
Alex physically leaped out the door and hugged Sevilin, her excitement a tangible thing, squeezing the watery Frei sweetly while being ever mindful of his phosphorescent wings. The woman was already dressed for the beach, donning a bikini top and a sarong of blue, her long hair loosely braided down her bare back.
"Sevilin!" she cried out joyously, pulling back enough to look at the sea nymph properly. Following her normal tradition of speaking the obvious, she continued on rapidly, "I'm so happy to see you and go to the beach, but I want you to meet someone special, he's still adjusting but you'll love him and did we need to get anythi--oh."
Her bright green eyes blinked beyond the Raevan to We`rika's truck in the distance, lifting a hand in a wave of parting. She would have been friendly this time around if not only for her jovial mood, but she was just as well lavishing her attention upon the Frei. Looking back to Sevilin with a bright smile, she took his hands and bounced on the balls of her feet, biting her lip to retain some of her high spirits.
Alex didn't really need permission to enter her own house, but she wanted to make sure she wasn't overwhelming Sevilin - the last time she'd been this excited was in the presence of Aphismet during their first meeting, and that had lead to many an uncomfortable moment. She was trying to buckle down, but sometimes her mirth just got the better of her.

"Alex!" The sea fairy greeted her with just as much passion, wrapping his lithe arms around her bare shoulders and gave her his best hug. "I know I'm so exci--someone sp--?" Sevilin did his best to keep up with Alex, but clearly her skills in excitement succeeded his own.
He looked back as his babysitter waved. "Oh," Giggling, he turned around. "He's late for work hahaha... Oh! Yeah I brought uhmm a lil uhh bag. It has my sunhat aaand uhmm I brought a beachball! You uhh... have to blow it up though... Oh and sandcastle stuff! We are covered!" The little Raevan smiled sweetly, picking up the bag he had set down on the porch and looked past Alex, very curious to see her house.
"So who's this special person? I wanna meet them!!"

The woman gently took the bag from the Frei, shaking her head with a smile. "I got it!" she assured him, but at his next words, she was back into Super Woman mode, giving a barely contained squeal of joy, continuing to hold Sevilin's hand and drawing him inside her home.
The house was decidedly white, from the walls to the ceiling, even the rugs. The floors were of light colored wood, the artistic placement of mirrors and antique pictures just so to give a sense of movement through the foyer and hallway, which emptied into the living room. Most of the furniture was beachy, wooden accents upon plush and sandy colored cushions. The side counters and coffee tables were constructed of pale materials with glass tops, seashells embedded in strategic places to serve as cup holders.
The living room was adorned with a large TV upon the wall with her numerous and coveted gaming consoles stacked neatly beneath, the room lit by the expansive windowed wall that lead to the patio; it was all decidedly very un-Alex like, but she didn't mind. It wasn't like she spent much time in it anyway.
"That," she pointed towards the kitchen, an expanse of aspen cupboards, similar island and a bar, which was occupied by a man behind a laptop, "is my brother, B. He's not very friendly." She shot the short-haired man a look, to which he only lifted his hand in greetings, giving Sevilin a polite glance and smile before returning to his work. "But here--Zul, this is Sevilin! Sevilin, meet Zul!"
The dark-skinned Frei floated near the back windowed area, one hand on the glass as his bright eyes peered outwards, watching the sharp swoop of seagulls and larger birds over the shimmering expanse of the ocean visible from where he was. At the sound of his name, he turned his tri-horned head to rest his impossibly blue gaze on the sea fairy, his slow and easy smile tugging into place on his lips. His woman had told him much about the cerulean Frei, but he wasn't expecting him to be pretty, not quite like Lazarus. The blue lines of his gorget lit his features cooly in the reflection of the glass, the piercings in his ears and wings giving a faint tinkle as he moved.
Zul floated towards the two, tilting his head to the side, running a gloved hand through his spikey hair. "Sev-eelin," the demonic Raevan grinned, thinking the name felt awfully funny in his mouth. His boney wings extended, marble webbing stretching grandly, acting for all the world like a peacock displaying his assets. "Zul." There was pride in that one word, self-assurance and a certain degree of laziness. His woman had already introduced them, but there was no harm in making sure the other knew who he was without question.

Sevilin did his best to not just run around the house, poking this and touching that and fondling something on the wall. It was so clean a pristine. And soothing. We`rika's house was big, but it wasn't homey. And right by the sea? What more could someone ask for?! It was perfect.
Turning in the air, the blue Frei caught sight of this B and waved back, his bracelets jingling melodiously with every pass. So this was the special person? Hmm I wonder why Alex would say he was so mean if Sevilin would love him. Though really, he loved everyone. Moods just didn't affect him, in fact he encouraged them. It made it all the more sweeter when he broke through their gloom. Perhaps she wanted him to work on B.
But when she gestured to another with exceptional delight, he got the impression he was a little off. "Ah--" His greeting caught in his throat as he turned to Alex and Zul. He was grand in a way he couldn't explain. His mirror-blue eyes caught the Baphomet's, the airy green reminiscent of the sea. He didn't remember floating back from Zul's advances until his hands were fisted in Alex's sarong. There was a power in him that made the sea nymph nervous.
"Hi..." He greeted shyly. He never felt anxious before and it was... interesting. Not good, but not bad. It was weird. Alex's body heat began to warm him and it gave Sevilin the courage to float closer. Cherry-red lips pulling into a pretty smile, the Frei's delicate hand rose slowly and rested on his bare shoulder in an amiable gesture. "Zul." He repeated in a soft voice. "Hi, Zul!"

Alex's arm wrapped around the Frei's back reassuringly, not minding his attachment to her sarong (so long as he didn't lift it to show her leg). She'd never quite seen Sevilin so...shy before, but it was painfully endearing.
Zul's eyes followed the hand that lit upon his shoulder, arching a severe brow with interest. His skin felt vaguely cool to him, prompting his own temperature to raise in the slightest. The Frei gingerly took the hand and held it in his gloved one, before lifting the captive pale hand to kiss the back of it, tilting his head with a smile. "Hello."
The woman about dropped her jaw, surprise lining her sharp features. "Zul, what--" She glowered, looking over her shoulder as she heard her brother laughing. "What did you do?"
Brad looked up from his laptop, smiling faintly. "He picked it up from a movie, I guess. Besides, you said you didn't want him acting like me, I'd say he's doing a fair shot well at that."
Alex fumed. "Are you daft? He's impressionable you dolt!" The Italian scowled at her older brother before inquiring hesitantly, "What movie did you show him? So I can be prepared for any other theatrics."
"He wanted to know more about women, like you," the older man returned his gaze to his laptop, typing away. "Since all your movies are about violence and butt-kicking, I put in the only one you had that was cordial, that Robin Hood flick."
The woman groaned inwardly. "If he starts chasing people with arrows, B..."
Perhaps for the best, the Raevan was not listening to the humans. He was looking over Sevilin in a manner that was probably far too forward for a first meeting, but he had to be certain to remember the watery Frei. From his light cupid-bow smile to the spines of his fins, Zul wanted to see each thing that made them unique to set Sevilin apart as different, as a name to recall. "We will go..." He turned to look out the window, using his free hand to gesture in a sweeping motion towards the crest of the sea visible beyond the cliffs. "...there, yes?"

Sevilin's big blue eyes bugged obscenely at the surprising spectacle. But he wasn't embarrassed or even offended. It was actually cute, at least he knew the intimidating Frei was genteel. Not that he believed Alex would put him in harms way, but there were just things humans didn't understand.
This charming Baphomet fueled his confidence and his smile, white cheeks dimpling sweetly. He felt like a princess (and he was secure enough in his masculinity to find that fun, so there)! And rightfully so as he listened in on the squabble between brother and sister. "Ohh Robin Hood! That's a good movie. Is it the.. the one with uhh the foxes or the one with Kevin Costner? They're both good," He nodded firmly, not too worried that his hand was still caught in Zul's grasp. "But the animals are cuter. I love Disney! I have like all their movies! But there isn't a lot of room for 'em so We`rika sits them in line with his porn..." Oh Sevilin the Queen of Too Much Information.
Thankfully the subject had changed and the sea fairy completely forgot what had been saying. "Yeah beach time! Let's go! OH!! But I wanted to see Alex's uhh dragon, Zoe!"

Zul watched Sevilin speak, shaking his head at the mention of animals. He hadn't seen any such creatures on any of the cases that his woman's man had shown him. Truly, the one the dark-haired man had chosen hadn't been appealing aesthetically, but he had been rather enraptured at the epic play across the screen. He hadn't understood most of the words, but he didn't need to hear them to know what was being shown. Motions were so very intruiging to him. The Frei blinked his bright eyes at Sevilin, repeating one word that was foreign to him. "Porn?"
"No." The word was automatic from Alex's lips, temporarily forgetting her war with her older brother to make sure Zul understood that some things were not to be considered.
The Raevan's smile faded around the edges. "No porn?"
"No porn. Ah, Zoe, he's...hey B, sit back." The woman was more than happy to get off the subject of movies and porn (certainly not to be mentioned in the same breath by such young minds!), turning to face the older man. "Sevvie wants to see Lorenzo."
The man in question glanced up again from his work, turning slowly in the barstool he was seated in, revealing the dragonette sound asleep on his lap. Brad gently touched Lorenzo's nose, earning a short snort and an irritated swipe of a tiny claw. "Hey, you have company, kiddo." He chuckled, shrugging his broad shoulders. "I think he's out cold."
Zul was already moving towards Brad, hand still wrapped around Sevilin's, his insistance a little more than gentle to bring the other Frei with him. "Zul Too," his smile grew back into place at the sight of the Gwee, extending his free hand to place on the dragonette. It covered most of the little beast's body, and with the heat emanating from his palm, the little green creature fell into a heavier, placated sleep.
A delicate smile of fondness creeped over Alex's lips. She was just happy to see everyone getting along, at least more so than she and her brother. "C'mon boys. He'll be awake later, Zul tired him out this morning." She hoisted the bag on her shoulder, picking up a smaller one by the back sliding door towards the porch, using her elbow to open the windowed entryway. "We have waves to chase and some sun to soak."

Sevilin floated closer to Zul with an apologetic smile on his face, sticking his tongue out. "I can't watch it either..." Not that he ever let We`rika's rules stop him from doing what he wanted. But two (or three sometimes) people hugging with their naughty bits didn't really interest him.
But he had no problem being dragged, eager to see the bundle of cute as well. He couldn't help but say hi to Brad, needing to know and greet everyone he ever saw. He couldn't allow even one to slip away unknown! "Aww he's so cute!" And then a thought occurred. "I want one......" But he would bide his time, for now. He mimicked the Baphomet and rested his soft palm on its little head, giggling sweetly. He wondered if Sprinkles and Lorenzo would get along.
It was the sea fairy's turn to tug Zul his way, holding him by a warm gloved hand. "Yeah! Beach, let's go!!!" Whooping like a little kid, the blue Frei pulled his new friend along to the door.

The demonic Raevan had little concern of the 'porn' issue - really, he could just inquire about it later, if he cared to - not when there were other more interesting things at hand, such as Sevilin and the Gwee. Zul wasn't very inclined to stay still for very long periods of time as it were, so when the watery Frei began to tug on his hand, he complied, giving the small green beast another thoughtful glance before allowing himself to be lead.
Alex smiled as she watched the two exit the house, poking her head back inside to give her brother another look. "Dinner," was the only curt word to pass her lips before she shut the glass sliding door, padding after her charges with a gleeful skip. "Jeez Sevvie, what all did you bring?" she inquired, hefting the bag on her shoulder good naturedly. "I brought a blow up ball and some shovels, didn't think you guys would need towels or anything."
Zul glanced over his shoulder at his woman, his wings arching contentedly beneath the warm rays of the sun. "Why shovels?" he inquired, remaining by Sevilin all the while.
"Sand castles," she replied promptly, a pleased look warming her sharp features. "I thought Sevvie might enjoy that, and some bags for collecting shells. We don't have to do anything, really, but you're a busy-body."
The dark-skinned Raevan considered the term used to describe him, looking to the Frei at his side who was fairly his opposite in all respects. "Sevylin," he tried the name again, finding it a bit more manageable, "are you a busy-body?" Zul wasn't sure if the comment was intended as compliment or insult, but was leaning on the former, as his woman had often showered him with positive and flattering things.
It was quickly forgotten as they took the path between the cliffs, which emptied directly against the beach; the tide was low, so they had a great deal of white sand to deal with, the crystalline waters breaching the pale lip with small waves. It was something like a private beach, although the area was often filled with water when the tide came in.
Zul looked up and down the sandy reach, over the churning blues of the waters and rested his gaze upon Sevilin. "Castles or shells?" The Raevan wasn't inclined to speak or ask many questions, already finding all the posed inquiries tiresome. He continued to smile, an easy and bemused expression he often wore; he was still determining Sevilin and the watery Frei's view of him, perhaps yet uncertain to treat the sea fairy as dainty female or male equal.

Sevilin poked his back in with Alex, his big blue eyes bouncing from sister to brother with an oblivious smile. "Bye Mr. B!" The dainty hand not connected to Zul waved big, tinkling with jewelry before being dragged out and off to the beach. "Why isn't B coming with us? Does he not like the beach?" That was an absurd question really since everyone likes the beach. How can you not? It's the BEACH. If he could he would just live in the ocean and swim with the dolphins and gossip with sea cucumbers. FOREVER!
"Uhh..." The little sea fairy had been so absorbed in his aquatic dream, he hadn't heard much of what Alex had said. "Oh! Uhh... My sun hat and..... beach necessities?" His voice seemed to lilt high at the end, smiling sheepishly. He looked over at Zul and gave his hand a squeeze. Oh my gosh! He hadn't hugged him yet! How could that have happened?! Mmm but then he remembered. It seemed silly now that he could have been so shy around another Raevan, or even anyone. Well, he would bide his time and get a hug in.
As they followed Alex, Sevilin swinging their arms back and forth leisurely, the little Frei looked over to the Baphomet as he inquired about busy-bodyness. "Uhmmm yeah I guess so... When We`rika isn't around..." Not that We`rika was boring, but Sevilin was cooped up at home all day and then when his guardian got home he didn't want to do much but relax. So whenever he had time to sneak out and frolic, he did.
But the blue Raevan's attention was quickly captured by the quiet white beach. "Ohhh...... It's so pretty!" The sand was so different. He floated low and grabbed a handful, sifting it through his thin fingers. "Uhmmm..." Looking up at Zul, he lifted a hand to cover the glare of the sun. "I don't care! I like both... Whichever you wanna do!"

"B doesn't like anything," Alex replied with a wry smile, "he has a lot of work to do. We can drag him with us next time, I'm sure all you'll have to do is bat your pretty eyes and he'll cave." It was a cute idea, but she wasn't sure that the sweet Frei would be able to melt that stone heart of her brother's, even if he had taken well to Zul. They could at least guilt trip him, maybe...
Pale hair with bright tips tilted to the side as the Raevan considered Sevilin's words. He wasn't really sure which he wanted to do because both were something of a foreign concept. Castles? Shells? Zul had seen what became of castles from the movie, deciding on the latter with a nod to himself. "Shells," he offered up, blue eyes resting upon aqua ones to make sure his decision was satisfactory. Not that he had any doubt that it wouldn't be, but it was worth being polite to further determine the delicate sea fairy's disposition.
He flexed his swung arm for a moment, stretching his fingers before he floated towards the beach, not yet near the water. What was the purpose of collecting shells? Did they keep them? Put them back in the water? That sounded logical, returning the items lost from the sea, but he still failed to see where the 'fun' part came in. Zul gave a mental shrug, also leaning down, dark fingers sifting through pale sand. A surprised, pleased grunt escaped him at the warmth of it, lifting some into his palm and raising his own heat to match it. The granules sparkled under the attention, eliciting a satisfied smile from the demon, tossing his head proudly. There was not yet a heat he couldn't match, a cold he could not find; even the sun's influence on the white carpet of sand could not--!
The Raevan was distracted, in part because of the blue Frei that stood out against the pale white of the beach, and the other colors he was starting to pick out; rich purples and wet blacks, even lighter whites if he looked hard enough. "...shells?" he inquired, the sand sifting through his fingers and back to the greater mass, floating near Sevilin with curiosity. "They're...colorful." He wasn't sure what he was expecting, maybe something blue like the water itself, but certainly not the dotting of multiple hues and shapes.

"Anything?" The expression on Sevilin's face was mortifying. How scanalous! How could you go through life without joy and sunshine and happiness!? Oh, he would have to work on this man, yes he would. The little sea fairy would use those 'pretty eyes' and awaken him to the wonder of the earth! Like salt water taffy and sea horses!
But first! The was beach to explore! And he had the perfect partner to show him around! The blue raevan pulled out his wide-brimmed sun hat, parting his hair into pigtails to keep it out of the way. For the most part. Sevilin loved his hair, but it could get pretty wily and out of control if not properly managed.
"Okie! I like looking for shells..." He watched Zul patiently, happy to see the frei was just as fascinated with the beach as he was. "Yeah. There's all different colors and shapes. Some are rare and some are really common. That's what makes collecting them so much fun. Some just... speak to you, you know?" Giggling, Sevilin let go of the Baphomet and sifted through the sand himself, picking up a chipped shell striped burnt orange and white like a sunset. "See? This one's pretty--Hey! It looks like your hair!"

While his woman set up camp a short ways away with a happy smile, the demonic Raevan looked between the other Frei and the beach, as though some connection or light bulb of understanding would make sense of everything. It wasn't terribly confusing to Zul, but it was odd, to see such color outside. He himself was a spectrum of complimentary colors, Sevilin was a palette of blues of every hue, even his woman a strange earthy mesh; to see such vibrant, uncoordinated color splashed upon the pale sand, against Sevilin's fair fingers, it was dazzling.
A gloved hand lifted to touch his spiked hair, clear blue eyes turning over the shell being presented to him. "Yes," he agreed thoughtfully, "almost, but not as bright." A fair compliment from the curious male, extending the same hand to touch the ridges of the shell. What a strange object. He still wasn't sure why people enjoyed collecting them, but he supposed if they could remind others of something as attractive as he, there was some merit to it after all.
"Are there any like you?" he asked, assuming Sevilin would know these things. The watery Frei knew of shells and 'castles' to begin with, so why not know all about them? Zul turned his gaze over the water, floating a little towards the foamy crest against the wet sand before concluding, "The ocean...looks like you." Did it mean anything? Maybe, maybe not, but it was an observation he had felt like sharing; that was good enough.

"Uhmmm..." At Zul's question, he promptly looked down though he knew for certain there was probably nothing there. Blue never seemed to be a big outside color, well, beside the big ol' sky, but there was like.... two birds that were blue and maaybe a few flowers. Not much. Blue should be appreciated more!! Or perhaps it was rare and unique.... like him! Yes, he liked that idea better.
"Oh..." The little frei turned his face to the sea, long blue tendrils whipping across his face. "Yeah it does... I love the ocean...." Sevilin commented to no one in particular. He watched the waves break across the shore with a roar and a hiss as the foam melted into the sand. It was moving.
Eventually his big blue eyes slid to Zul and his cherry-red lips parted into a soft smile. "Have you ever swam in the ocean?" The sea nymph slipped his little fingers in Zul's big hand. "Wanna try?"
