The year is 3487 A.D.
The world has flourished over the last several centuries in a reign of peace. The pursuit of science ruled as technology pushed through the world. During this time, the DNA in many humans seemed to mutate or regenerate with unfathomable speed, gifting them with powers unlike normal humans. These beings are known as Lunars. Some ancient races have also come out to attempt living amongst humans in peace. Parents could let their families leave the house without hardly a worry. It was nearly a utopian society.
Until the the last five years.
Out of the darkness rose a strange group called the Hell Alliance. It didn't take much for them to overthrow the virtually nonexistent government. Now the heaven like feeling over the world has crumbled into a dark void of dictatorship and government control. No one can sneeze without being seen and government seems to thrive in oppression.
What side are you on?

Rain leaned against the edge of the old warehouse, folded her arms across her chest and sighed heavily. Rain disliked many things, but waiting was number one on the list. She laid her head against the old stone that had once been the exterior of a storage shed and stared at the small building before her, eyeballing the patched walls that looked as if a small breeze would be enough to topple the entire joint down. It was actually amusing that the building was a school and that Snowa was somewhere in that shabby shack. Glancing down at her timepiece strapped to her wrist, she sighed at the time. 2:50 PM.
She would have to wait.
Darnit.....

Nick got out of work early, which was weird because his boss hated him. he decided walked home from work this day. If anyone was to as him why he was walking home he would just tell them that he wanted to get some exercise. But he really just wanted to find any clues about the Angel Team. He heard someone speak about it a few weeks ago and has been searching for clues about it even since. Nick went down ally after ally searching for anything or anyone that might know something about it. He found an old warehouse complex and thought that it would be a good place to search.

Rain flinched slightly as a pathetic sounding bell resonated from the rundown school building then pushed away from her perch to walk across the dirty street. Nearly instantly she would appear next to the schoolhouse and leaned lazily against a useless light pole that had not given any light for as long as she could remember. It would be a minute before her sister arrived so Rain took a moment to gauge her surroundings.
The slums continued to get worse everyday. The road was not wide, but Rain could see cardboard and garbage huts erected along the abandoned street side. Trash littered the street that was rarely used by vehicles and she could hear a distant coughing from one of the meager hovels. It suddenly occurred to her that Snow and her had been in that position not too long ago, but that had been years ago. She clasped her hand around her armband idly. The arm band bore a pair of angel wings, the symbol of the Angel Team. It was for the destitude before her that she joined the Team a few years ago.
"I think you think too much." A voice suddenly cut through her pondering and drew Rain to look at her side where someone was pulling on her sleeves.
A small girl who looked no more than twelve gazed up at her with sparkling eyes and a irresistible smile spread across her lips. She was a bit dirty and her clothes had been worn then patched several times, but that didn't seem to dim the happiness in her eyes. Rain ruffled the young girl's hair with a smile of her own as the little girl jumped into Rain's arms in a hug.
"Hey, Snow." Rain chuckled, hugging the small girl tightly. "I missed you."
"I missed you too, Rain." Snow whispered back, pulling away reluctantly as Rain set her back on the ground.
Rain soon found herself swept away in a cloud of excited chatter as she was being dragged down the street by her younger sister. She smiled, tried to cover her arm band with the sleeve of her shirt and merely concentrated on following the conversation.

As Nick started in the complex he heard a slight bell sound and then all of the sudden a crowd of young kids came walking in the opposite direction. All of the kids had clothes that looked dirty or had patches on them. "What has this world come to" He asked himself. After watching the kids come out of the buildings he came to the conclusion that it was a school, and a bad one if that.
Nick looked around and saw that the whole place was in terrible condition with trash and cardboard boxes that some of the kids were going into. He then realized that he wandered into the slums. It didn't look that bad to him because his neighborhood was just a bit better than this. but everyone lived in old run down apartments. But even with that, it was better than the slums.
Out of the corner of Nicks eye he saw a older girl being pulled by one of the kids. But she had some sort of arm ban on her upper arm with her shirt covering most of it. Squinting his eyes he tried to look close and he saw what looked like part of a white wing. "Angel Team" He thought. He then ran to catch up with her. It was hard because he had to doge all the kids that were walking out. He then caught up with her.
"Hello" He said looking at the girl. "Do you mind telling me what that arm band is."

It occurred to Rain sometime during Snow's excited explanation of the day's lessons that someone had joined their party. She turned to look at the newcomer with a critical eye. He didn't seem to be a member of the Hell Alliance, but she had been fooled before. The Alliance had become more cunning with their disguises and, if the man before her was any indication, becoming much cuter. Or perhaps he was a potential new member? As discreetly as possible, she covered her band once again.
"This old thing?" Rain replied innocently, tucking her shirt sleeve beneath the band in order to hide it. "It is nothing, sir. Just something I found lying around." She lied and she wouldn't have been surprised if her nose had begun to grow.
"Hello!" Snow suddenly chimed in happily, looking up at the stranger and apparently ignoring Rain's uneasiness. "My name is Snow and this is my older sister Rain. What is your name?"
Rain gaped at her sister's sudden outburst but quickly covered it. She would have to talk to her about discretion later.

By the way that the girl had looked at him, and the way she obviously lied about the arm band, Nick thought that he might of presented himself as a member of the government. He wanted to make her believe that he was not part of the government, but how was the question he asked himself. The only conclusion he came to was to tell her the truth, risking that "Big Brother" Might be listing in on them.
"I am in desperate search of joining the Angel Team" He said to her right after completely ignoring the little girls speaking to him. He wanted to concentrate on finding out more about the Angel Team. "Would you happen to know anything about it?"

Rain eyeballed him for a moment longer with a cold and calculating gaze, still unconvinced on whether or not he was a member of the Hell Alliance or not. If he was telling the truth, then she had a potential member on her hands. If he was lying, then she was flirting with death.
"Perhaps. Why do you search for the Angel Team?" She demanded warily, still clutching on to Snow's hand. "And, more importantly, who are you?"

Nick was for sure now that she wasn't sure if he was a member of the government or not. The only way he could think of to convince her that he was just an ordinary citizen was to tell her who he was to the full extent.
"My name is Nicholas Remdi" Nick said to rain "I work for a programing company a few miles from here" He continued "I search for the Angel Team because I wish to throw down this new government and reorganize our old one."

Rain looked him over once again, continuing to battle within herself as to his true identity. Suddenly her hand was tugged and received a helpful dose of pleading eyes upon looking down at her sister. Darn her anyway! She felt her heart move slightly in compassion and sighed.
"Do you think Bear will want him then?" She asked her sibling who happily nodded. Rain sighed once again for good measure then turned back to Nick, moving in closer to him so she could whisper in hopes Big Brother would not hear them. "Very well. We will see what he thinks of you then." She said lowly, looking around them for possible members of the Hell Alliance then giving him a warning gaze. "I will take you to the to where you seek, but I must blindfold you."

By the silence that she gave him he was hopefully that she would know that he was not a member of Hell Alliance. He then got even more hopefully when she asked her sister if "bear" wanted him. He was excited once she had said that she was going to take him to where he sought. But the part that bothered him was the blindfold part. He didn't know weather she might of been a member of the government or not. She could of just laid out this whole trap for him just to get caught, but he doubt it.
"Alright" He said to her risking the slight chance that the government set this all up for him. He then waited to be blindfolded.

Rain nodded curtly, praying silently that she would not regret this decision. Snow giggled happily. Rain wouldn't have doubted it if her younger sister's chortles had been brought on by her sudden glance of irritation directed the youngster's way. However she found quite suddenly that she could not stay mad at the young girl and sighed in surrender.
Rain gazed around them slyly, stopping when she saw a dark man standing in an alleyway to their right. He bore a strange tattoo like making up his arm and an equally unpleasant scowl. A agent of Hell Alliance. When had he gotten there? No matter, she told herself. She had to get them out of the broad daylight. They had overstayed their welcome. Acting as if she did not realize the agent was near them, Rain turned back and grinned at Nick charmingly, moving to stand beside him.
"Very well. I will take you to Papa Bear." She whispered lowly. "However we have a straggler. I suggest you play along."
With Snow still clutching her hand possessively, Rain turned to begin walking down the street casually. She was astonished when she felt Snow reach out and grab the stranger's hand as if she had been doing it all along. Well there were much worse things than pretending to be a family, she supposed. Unfortunately she heard the Agent push away from the wall and begin to follow them at a good distance.
"Play along." Snow whispered to Nick lowly. Her smile never faltered.

Nick did not want to break the silence because he did not want to break the small trust that she had with him. If he did say anything that might of set in bad with her or good, he did not know. He kinda knew that snow was the only reason why she had trusted him. little kids have a special knack for knowing who is good and isn't.
All of the sudden Nick got that felling that someone was watching him. He didn't know who. After looking around and seeing nothing he concluded that it was just one of those strange moments. However when Rain mentioned that we had a stranger, Nick believed her immateriality. Without looking around he started walking with them trying to doge the garbage on the side of the road. When Snow grabbed his hand he knew exactly what to act like.

Rain lead her two companions down the cluttered street, winding through the trash and makeshift huts as agilely as possible. She watched from the corner of her eyes, keeping their stalker. It occurred to her after a couple of blocks that they were not going to lose this straggler as easily as the others she had been pitted with.
She quickly dodged into a alleyway and removed a grate that lead to the sewer system. Slowly she lowered Snow in. She motioned for him to enter wordlessly. Once he got in, she would close the grate after him and look at Snow.
"Hang tight, Snow." Rain whispered. "Take him to the joint and wait for me there." With that said, Rain would vanish down the street and Snow would grab his hand once again.
"We best do as she says." Snow announced quietly, pulling him down the tunnel as if nothing were amiss. "She gets angry when people disobey."

Nick followed obediently trying to not mess up anything she might of had planed. As the kept on walking down the street, he constantly dogged the garbage and the small makeshift huts. He looked down a side street once to see if the guy was following him. out of the corner of his eye he saw the dark cloaked guy with the tattoo. He then looked back as if he didn't see anything.
He followed her down the ally wondering why she was going into it. Once at the sewer gate he climbed in just as she motioned. After listing to snow say do as she say, he got a bit worried about Rain. "Your sure she'll be alright"
