Luna dragged a large elk in her mouth. My how much she mothered the 2 now adolescent pups. THey would never grow up right. She then dropped the elk into a bit deep into the mouth of the cave and the sound echoed. The memories still stuck in her head of him trying to take her pups but only being able to carry one. It made her feel sick as she croaked " I got food Tempest and Tsuki why not come and eat? "

Hearing his mother's voice Tsuki nudged and growled slightly at his sister. "Mothers back. She brought food. Get up." Trudging to the front of the cave he glared upset at his mother. "I still don't know why I couldn't help you get it. I'm an adolescent now mom." Tearing into the leg of the elk he relished in the blood.

Tempest groaned, curling in tighter on herself. She attempted a quick return to sleep but already knew it would be a failure. Sighing, the cloud of her breath appearing in front of her muzzle, she she stood to her feet. Stiff with long sleep and none moving, she trudged towards the entrance of her home where her mother and Tsuki were eating. She wasn't hungry, her stomach pained from the effects of waking up. She sat back, watching Tsuki dig in.

" I don't want you to in this cold weather..." She told him. She went of to Temptest and nudged her back saying " Kid... why aren't you eating?" She pleaded. She loved both her pups and if she could help it they wouldn't leave.

"Whatever you say mother." Smirking slightly he knew that she had no idea that he snuck out all the time. Training and testing himself was a never ending thrill. He had to get Tempest to join him sometime she would be an interesting partner. He knew he would always be faster and stronger then her but her smarts may challenge his own. They'd be the best team the territories had ever known and even if she did decide to one day to leave to find her own pack she would be the greatest female in that pack. He would be sure of it.
Noticing his sister just sitting there and his mothers pleading voice Tsuki stopped his intake of food to turn to his sister. "Eat you need your strength. I plan on challenging you later!"

Tempest turned her head to her mother and smiled a little. "I'm fine Mother.. I'm just tired is all." she turned her head to the now picking Tsuki and perked an eyebrow. "In what? An argument. Don't you ever learn that I will always beat you?" She curled her tail around her cold feet as she looked at the animal. Poor thing.. barely matured..

" Are you sure..." Luna said disappointed. She wanted her children to be strong and it brother her when one of them different eat. She still nudged her one more time before letting it go.

"Not to an argument dummy! To a race of the fittest! See who can outlast who." He'd tell her later of his plans. Not of world domination no but of North domination. To get together a pack of the fastest, smartest and strongest northern helixes and to rule the tundra of the north. He'd need an alpha though. He liked barking out orders but he was not one for compassion which an alpha needed.

Tempest smirked at her brother but just rolled her eyes. Silly thing. She sighed, a huff of cloud appearing immediatly. "I'll pace Tsuki." she told him at once, then laid down, folding her paws to be used as a pillow. "'Sides. Mom needs to take you on a hunting lesson.." She eyed her mom with knowing eyes. Her more never wanted to teach either of her children hunting lessons. Of course, Tempest had no problem with that. She didn't like hunting one bit but she was getting tired of Tsuki always complaining.

" Now now don't get too competitive with her my boy, Tsuki... " Luna said in a light tone trying to break the ice between them all. She would do anything to keep them and and find out most families had 5 not 3 and each at least had a male. Then Luna gave her daughter soft eyes and said " I always tell you... I will teach you when your older... more mature... " All lies.

Sighing Tsuki got irritable "When will I be older mom?" Looking at his sister he rolled his eyes. "You have no fun at all Tempest. Must you be so lazy?" He was just trying to strengthen her up. It wouldn't be long until those stupid males were trying to win his sisters affection. And she was his sister. No male would have anything to do with her unless Tempest wanted them to and that still was only a possibility.

She ignored her brother and mom's bickering and let her eyes drift shut once again. She was thinking of retaliating to Tsuki's 'lazy' comment but decided to let him and mom fight for the time being. She knew mom wouldn't teach her or Tsuki how to hunt, so she just thought about taking Tsuki and letting him try the 'trial and error' bit for while. He was fast learner, and mom wouldn't be so mad if she caught us if I was with him. She knew I was pretty mature for my age, but Tsuki was still rambunctious and not the brightest bulb in the box. She giggled silently at her own joke, keeping to herself and hoping it would go unnoticed.
