@_@ Whenever me and my friends go to make a roleplay, it just doesn't work out cause the plot's don't make any sense and sound more like a story. I'm willing to give up to 2,000g for every GOOD idea. By good, I mean original, good build-up, etc.
The roleplays I'd really like to do are:
Ouran High (Would be interesting ;DD)
Eureka Seven (I really miss that one..)
The Legend of Zelda -- Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Minish Cap
Mario..? (Wouldn't that be interesting? x'D)
Naruto
Animal Crossing..? ;D
Harvest Moon (I love that game ;_; )
Twilight? (Possibility)
Uhh, I'll think of more la-ter.

Normally I need to see everybody's characters, and where they're from and all that kind o' stuff before I can think of a good storyline, if one at all. I'm normally too lazy, unfortunately, to post ALL the information about ALL my characters - it'd take way too long, and they're interconnected (some, and to an extent - some more than others, et cetera). I've also had quite a bit of experience with each of my characters.
So can we just start a free-style roleplay and I'll see what happens from there, and contact people I think might be able to help with an interesting storyline?
Sort of, almost like a dungeon master, I am at times. I've never even done Dungeons and Dragons though. XP Lol. I think that's actually a good thing a lot of the time, because then I don't base all my characters off of stuff like that. <,<

Okkie. I'm the same way. xD Either I make a plot too strict to follow, or I just let it go and see what happens. In fact, in one RP me and my friend PMed eachother continuously plotting twists and turns to make the roleplay more interesting. x] It was very fun.
Right now I want to make a Harvest Moon RP. x.x Summary of that is farming, romance, fun. But I must have a curse or something, because every roleplay I make turns out horribly. But I suppose roleplays can't go on forever.

Try not to make it all about one thing. Let your roleplayers create the story. smile Not to mention create what happens, like romance and such. ^,^; Don't force them into creating it. <,<; Lol. I know I wouldn't want to. v,v; I just want to do what comes naturally. biggrin

As I just said... v,v; If you want lots of people you're going to have to make it even more free, because people want to do different things - not just one thing. :O
After all, if it's going to be ONLY about romance, then that's not too much fun, is it? X3 Lol.
Edit: By the way, I checked out the link, and I was lost right after I saw the words "descriptive fighting not allowed." Seriously, I'm normally not the type who likes to fight - especially because I hate losing the characters that I love (if you don't love your characters, chances are they're not as good as the author of the Harry Potter series's, considering she sobbed when she killed off Sirius Black - which she stated in an article). Even if you can roleplay as their ghost and whatnot or roleplay as them in heaven or some such. <,<;
Fighting is good because it adds realism to the roleplay. You'll probably be extremely offended by this, but what kind of a world is one that's all about romance? If it's all about romance, why can't I have one that's all about sex of the kind I like?
People don't join things that don't have an array of many different things. You need tolerance, and you need to develop it. A world is not good if it does not have both things you don't enjoy, and things you do enjoy.
It's similar to learning to share your time with a friend. Stop doing JUST things you both enjoy and start trying to do things one enjoys but one doesn't necessarily enjoy. I've done it many times before, and actually've been quite surprised by what I've found.

Sorry o.o; I hate it when people keep quoting so that each post is excessively long just because quotes are hanging off of it.
But anyways, I completely agree. The world has these things and this world would get little without them. Think about it, no one has sex, humanity doesnt even live to see the dark ages, let alone get past them. No Violence, no war, We'd be way too overpopulated (Amongst other things.). There are certain things we have to include, besides, who as the right to say people dont want to hear this stuff. Besides you know, the creator of the website has the right to say he doesent want it here, and the clan moderators.
It really, thoroughly enrages me when people step outside of their territory to try to get rid of this stuff.
Ohh wait, thats now what this forum is about, is it? Sorry, got carried away. I also agree that a RP is more fun with an open storyline, a kind of lets make too characters and see what happens. I personally don't like to RP based of shows and stuff, offers too little flexibility. Romance, as well as sex, violence, by its self is boring. It has to have a interesting plot and a complexity in the relationship between the characters. Or an outside force causes that complexity.
Btw Snapdragon, I couldn't find your Rp thread o.o;

I didn't make a RP thread yet? <,<; Lol. I'll probably be putting the topic in here though, when I do start the roleplay. smile Hmm... I'm kind of thinking about finally doing a Fatal Frame-like thing - which actually gives me a spectacular idea... smile By the way, Mykael and Megan will more than likely be joining in. ;P Lol.

for harvest moon, well you could give the people free reign and just give them that theyre a farmer and work from there, my rps kinda work like that so it normally keeps people in if they dont have a whole storyline already set up for them.
