Story: The story revolves around "Hero" (you can name him whatever you like but he's referred to as hero; as in...hero of the story).
Hero is a fisherman's son who lives on a very small continent which includes their village and a castle town along with two other very small sites (a hermits hut and a cemetary). Even though people have traveled far there are no other continents on the world they live on.
Being still too young to go fishing with his father him and his best friend the prince Keifer like to go on mini adventures around where they live. Traveling to the cemetery they discover a way to enter it and find ancient ruins and strange devices inside it. After heading back home Hero's father comes back from his fishing trip and gives the boys a piece of a map that he found. Taking it Hero and his friends (now joined with Maribel, a young girl from the same village as Hero) find that, by placing the fragment onto one of the gadgets/shrine (?) at the bottom of the cemetery it teleports them to another the 'past'. Where other continents did exist but where somehow sealed away. Thus, they start their adventure traveling from one place to another, helping those in the past...and allowing them the change to exist in their time.
Gameplay: RPG Style. You run around as "Hero" and travel with friends. THere are plenty of places to explore from towns to even dungeons ect...The world is kind of midevil times. There's also a very interesting storyline with unique characters.
There are a few fun things to do in the game as well...like building your own town by recruiting people around the world as you play.
Battle System: Typical Dragon Warrior fighting style. It's a screen where you can onyl see enemies and a one after another kind of battle. You give orders to each character (only three in a party to fight) and they perform it when you're ready. You can also talk with other characters during or outside of battle which is pretty interesting.
Rate: 10/10
This game was simply amazing! It's VERY long and entertaining. To me it seems like it took a very very long time before I finally made it to the 2nd disk. ^_^" (And just when I finally made it my memory card formated itself and I lost everything. >_<) I HIGHLY recommend this game to everyone especially those who like RPG. It's characters are likable....the story is very good and it's so much fun traveling from one place to another and discovering new lands. Plus, b/c there is a past/present thing the towns are different so it's like you can go to two worlds in teh game (making the travel map even wider). Really give it a try!
