Hey I found this web sight recently where it shows you how to make the 4th Doctors Scarf. from the 4 different scarfs that tom baker had during his run as the doctor . Here the link: http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/ the stitch that is used to knit it is a Garder Stitch as seen here on the web sight : http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/instruct.phpThere ya go every thing you need to make of of the scarfs from Doctor who. Pic your favroite one and make it. My mum is making me the Orginal one from season 12. She will be done by February ( hopefully) So now that you have what you need make your own. I am glad I can help out any other doctor who fans so that they can have there own Long scarf. Just rember it involves Knitting so get your knitting neddels ready razz or just ask your mum to make it for you like I asked mine ^.^

Well, I've never tried knitting, but I am pretty good at crocheting. Maybe I could crochet one! xd I made a big blanket with lots of color stripes like that once and it isn't so hard. I guess it wouldn't really look right, though.

Yeh they're brilliant instructions, plus it means you can get a scarf for cheap, as you make it yourself. I couldn't knit or crochet to save myself, but mum said she'd make one for me. Mind you, that was a LONG TIME AGO and she still hasn't even started. D: I'm fairly certain crochet would work.

**Update **
My mum actually finished my Scarf before Christmas well all but the tassels. She put the tassels on before we all got up on the 25th to celibrate Christmas. I absolutly love it. Its 12 feet long. and is very warm and makes a really good Pillow. I will be posting Pictures as soon as I can fined my Camera. ^.^ good luck to every one who is curently making theirs or getting theirs made. (or buying them) - Thowell3

I can crochet but not knit is there a site for that? My mom can knit but I don't think she wants me to have a 6ft long scarf when I am already clumsy.

That's pretty cool. my mum went off of what the instructructions said. So it is a 12 foot Doctor Who Scarf. a repilica of the one Tom Baker first wore in Robot (His first Episode) and I am happy with that. I am currently trying to learn how to knit so I can start knitting them for other people.
