 In the shinobi world, there are five different elements: fire, wind, lightning, earth, and water. Although any shinobi can learn any type of elemental jutsu, they are more skilled in using jutsu with a certain type of elemental jutsu. However, the members of the Sokyin Clan are extremely skilled in the art of using elemental-type jutsu. Their specific element is stronger than that of a shinobi that isn't of that clan.

Wind ManipulationWind is the carefree element: possessed by those who know how to be down-to-earth as well as being able to detach themselves from everything. Those who master wind manipulation can cause massive hurricanes. It's strong against lightning, but weak against fire.

Lightning ManipulationLightning is the cold-blooded element: possibly the most feared element of all. Those who can use lightning manipulation are able to send a shock down anyone's spine (literally). Lightning is strong against earth, but weak against wind.

Earth Manipulation Earth is the steady element: those who wield it must be patient and unmovable. Earth manipulation allows the user to bend the ground's composition to his will. Earth is strong against water, but weak against lightning.
