Lets try not to bump it too much as long as its still on the first page. We could try something interesting though. We could run though a practice battle in the thread. It wouldn't count for anything but it would be fun and give readers a bit of a taste.

Hi I got an invite thingy so I posted...I'm Arashi^^...that's my name but of course my last name's not Tetsui... smile

So do we just start roleplaying when we make our first post in the rp thread...I'm a bit confused

Do I post my profile and start? Because I'm kind of scared...and my character's dad works for Professor Oak and since her mom is dead she goes with him a lot so she knows Oak pretty well...is that bad?

Slow down a little. Firstly I condensed your posts. If you need to make a new post only a short while after your last one use the 'edit' button. It helps keep things neater.

-----

Now onto the business of joining;

-You should have a character name picked out. Arashi Tetsui is fine if you want but feel free to make it anything you like.

-Have an idea for a Partner Pokemon. Its probably a Pokemon you've had for a long time. However it has to be a first rank or a baby. If you don't get just pick one and I'll correct you it won't be far off.

-Know your characters age and hometown. Kanto or Jhoto regions would make a bit more sense considering we're in Kanto now but more distant regions are okay.

-Have a bit of a description for your character. How they look and such. You don't need to post it right away but its good to know what your character looks like so they stay consistent.

-You don't need to put everything in your first post and you don't need to draft an official profile yet. Once your character meets Gaddwick he'll help you with the paperwork you need.

Looking at your plan so far it looks decent. You have a name picked out and you Probably live near Pallet town. You need to pick a partner Pokemon still but that shouldn't be too difficult.

The start of this chapter is probably going to be a little rough around the edges but I bet with time we can polish things up. Feel free to post in the RP Thread when you're ready.

It's acctually surprising how quickly they are pushed off the first page. I was surprised with my recruitment thread as well. I find bumping once or twice a day is pretty good advertisement though.

Um, what do you mean when you say, "He'll help you with the paper work you need"
I read every post in the rp thread but so I know what the first part meant, is the paper work the test thing or no?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to be absolutely sure and not make any mistakes.

Don't worry much about the paperwork. Its more of an interview that Gadd will go through with you to determine what missions would be best for you. It will also help you later when you have to make a profile later on. You don't need to take care of it right away but you should think ahead about it a little.

Here is Gaddwick's as an example. It looks pretty lengthy but yours can be much simpler when you get around to it.

The test however is separate. It will be given later and if you pass you'll be able to participate in the League Championships without the 8 required badges. If you do exceptional well there might be a prize. It will be part written and part practice battle. Things will clear up in that aspect later.

You seem pretty prepared. I suggest you try posting in the RP. If you're disappointed in your post you can always lightly edit it or do it over. You're just starting so we'll all be very forgiving until you get the hang of things.

Incorrect. Just walk in and try to get Gadds attention. Do it in a way that lets you describe yourself a little at the same time. Here is a sample.

Daniel Skyvane pushed his way though the crowd trying to find the Ranger Recruitment desk. An employee had pointed him in the right direction earlier but all these people crowded about and the fact that he tended to be nearsighted made it hard to tell if he was going in the right direction.

He reached deep into his pants pockets making sure his Pokemon was still there. The tips of his fingers brushed the smooth metallic pokeball containing Exeggcute. Some people thought it was odd to have a Pokemon that naturally formed such a group but he wouldn't have it any other way. He briefly caught a glimpse of a sign though the crowd and pushed forward in that direction.

Was this the place? He took a careful look at the person dressed in ranger attire who appeared to be conversing with two colleges. He tensely straightened his aquamarine jacket he had bought at the Pokemart back home in Cerulean City. He made his way forward and hesitantly introduced himself. "Um. Mr. Lenns." he said taking a glance at the one wearing a nametag. I'm uh interested in joining with the Pokemon rangers. Do you think you can help me?"

Just get yourself in the fray. You'll adapt quickly enough. I'm asking for some extra detail in your first post to give us some idea of what your character looks like.
