Hmm, when to start... Mom got the books. The movies came after. I read the books after I saw the first movie. It went downhill from there!

Hello! I'm Merilwen Caladhiel (a rough translation of my actual name, kinda-ish), but normally you'll see Mieva online. I've loved Tolkien's Legendarium since elementary school, but hadn't really gotten into his works until high school.
I've recently made the decision to start studying Elvish more than just half-assedly, but as soon this was decided, college jumped up and bit me in the arse... So I do what I can. ^^;

I am Nimrodel, and I've kinda been here a while.. I just haven't posted. xd
Aren invited me to join the guild months and months ago, and to everyone here I give the same advice I gave him: When in doubt, go to Glorfy. xp
Because Glorfy pretty much knows if its correct or not.
I'm Nandorin Oregonian, 18 (19 in January), Female, Tolkien obsessed, and I'm preparing to enter college as I type this.
I know enough elvish to greet you, insult you, or to point out a rainbow. I've also gotten fairly adept at recognizing Grelvish.
I'm a book devourer. I love to read.
Oh, btw.. I'm kinda in a Gothik Metal phase, so please bear with me. smile

Mae govannen. I'm La-la, obviously. I know most of you, but I'd like to know all. I've been a Tolkien fan since I was little before I was born, but I'm especially into it now. I don't know much Elvish though, but I'm thinking about trying to learn it.

Wow sweatdrop a lot to say here.... I'll just touch on a few subjects:
1. Hi! My name is Ardon/Arendilon Cennanon Anna-oderu! (A fairly good translation of my name.) (Or If I'm going for the actual name process, my name would be something like Ardon/Arendilon Ann-oderüion)
2. I'm *muffles word* years old, ... oh yeah. And I absoutely LOVE to read!!! I have like two full bookshelves worth of books.
3. Did I mention I was the first owner of this guild before I handed it over for free ( stressed ) (joking) to Imladviel because of my bad managing skills? Anyway....
4. Love elvish, sort-of-kind-of know elvish (I'm dreadful with the mutations and lenition of words.), and speak elvish fairly well.
And that's me in a nutshell!

Hello, hello. I am OrionsGift, you can just call me Orion. I've been Tolkien obessed since about the 10th grade in High School. He's probably been the biggest influence on me as a writer, which is one of my myriad hobbies. 3nodding
I can honestly say I know pretty much no Elvish, whatsoever. I might pick some up here, hopefully. That's...well, about all I have to say.
