Hey fencers! This topic is mainly for me getting advice from other epeeists, but foilists and sabreists are welcome to give their input.
Lately, I've been having a problem fencing. I don't seem to have the willpower to attack. I have a really strong defense, which tires my opponent out, but during that whole time, I never seem to attack even once. I've figured that there's some kind of mental block and its preventing me from being a well-rounded fencer. Any idea as to how to break the block? I really want to do better, but its just not gonna happen if I can't force myself to attack more.
