As many already know, I've been trying to work on a game to help create competition between factions and UG towns.

I've held faction contests for power and such just to test out the idea of earning faction points by popularity and such. This "may" be added to the future game, but will not be the major way faction points will be earned.

I've also started to create town maps (which seem kind of bland actually) to roughly sketch where factions reside in the UG towns for this game. These maps aren't going to remain bland. They're definitely going to be chibi-ized and hopefully incorporate members' artwork for buildings and such, so everyone has a hand in creating content.

What I want now then, is ideas...

I want people to start tek tek'ing avatars I can use for "miniature figures" for the game.

I want faction specific ones, and perhaps generic ones as well.

Examples you could post here for tek teks might include:

* House Derahel Skeleton Warrior
* Twitchblade Hitman/Thug
* Drow Male Commoner/Peasant
* Human Slave Worker
* Illithid Merchant

You know, just about any "BASIC" unit type that you can come up with an example for. This thread will be on going and I will use as many examples as I can. They may end up being NPC characters, or just stock troop types, but try to create them on the "low power" side of things as I want the actual members to play the higher power positions.

The examples don't have to be affiliated with factions, so feel free to post faction specific examples as well as generic.

I will end up using the examples to create pixel minis like this:

Also, to faction leaders... you might like to consider incorporating faction "trademarks" in some of your ideas. For example... in an undead themed army, skull motifs might be prevalent. The lidless demon armor has skulls, as do many other items. Also, color schemes (besides black which tends to predominate among drow) might be appropriate too. For instance, starter pirate sashes of one of the three colors might help to identify a house color theme. Faction leaders may want to discuss among their members just what sorts of themes they want to use for their faction.
