Sorry for the delay. Christmas shopping was hectic! Here are the five finalists. The poll will close in 24 hours. All 5 people are awesome and it's hard to make a choice between them. kaisanti Syaoran-Puu The Trapped One Siddah ~InfinityTrust~  Do you want your soquili in the circle? We will pick ONE soquili to be the Circle Star. They will grace the main shop banner for all to see for three months AND you can win a soquili (see further down for details).

To enter you must do something creative for the 2nd circle star contest. This can be to enter a pretty artwork, holiday card, poem, short story (under 500 words), RP scene (again, under 500 words), sculpture, collage, photograph, etc. All works must be 100% your own. No collabs!! Have Fun!!

If you have a writing creative work then just post it in the form. The winner will also get a free custom soquili AND their soq is the star. If they have no soquili then the soq they have won can be in the circle. eek

So wait... THe thread says that we nominate our own soquili, and then further down it says we can't nominate our own. Which is correct?

Dancing in the snow with Aria, Ayidan plays, enjoying the way he looks as though his back and legs are covered in the sparkling white snow! Soquili decorating trees and eating Holiday treats, giving gifts to each other in love, and joy, for that happy season of the Holidays has arrived! A Gift Forever More
Soft flakes of fluffy white fell upon the earth, covering her lands in a blanket of bright white. Sounds of laughter and merriment filled the air, traveling with the wind. A white ear twitched as the sound reached it, causing the black mane to move gracefully as it’s owner's head shook. Said owner was a magnificent stallion of white like the snow around him with a pattern not too different from that of a Koi fish but for the black and silver color of his spots. Stamping his silver hooves he couldn't help but wonder as to how the others of this land could find this, the season of death, to be such a joyous occasion for gift giving. With a snort, he shifted he pale yellow eyes around the landscape. They paused at a lone figure standing beneath a tree watching the others as they enjoyed themselves. This act itself was not what caused the stallion to then go up to the figure - a female - no, it was the bittersweet smile. Noting that she now had company, the human female glanced at the stallion. Her eyes told him that she too felt like he did, lonely. Yes, that was why he scorned the others. This mighty stallion had no one to share such a happy time with. Smiling softly, sweetly, truly at him, she stepped to him and reached to pet his mighty neck. "Come," she started softly, "Let's you and I find joy in the season together." The stallion merely neighed and together they went off. Not once looking back at the others and their false joy at their material gifts, for they had found a better gift then them. They had found each other and a bond, one of friendship forever more.
Other comments: I hope I did this right. I don't yet own a Soquili so I left those fields blank. I also sort of incorporated this fact into my short story by having the loneliness and the two meet. Hope I did alright.

When all the presents were wrapped Santa clause got himself kid napped so there was his sled all ready to go things were moving very slow It was found by two little elves who decided to to save Christmas themselves so with a quick change of attire they found themselves flying higher it was pulled by their trusty steads got them round the world in record speed Then they saved Santa from the Kalona's teeth and he was impressed beyond belief with a hohoho and a shake of his belly they both got a special teddy this is known as a special day cos Loli and Yuni saved Santa HURRAY!! Other comments: In the bag the plsuhies are of chars, the blue wolf is Sabre Yuni's bf and the purple horse is Kuu who is Yuni's guardian =33 isnt that sooo cheese? xDD
Also the sled is getting pulled by Jo and Tah =33 good look everyone I hope you enjoy and good luck!!!!AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

The entire landscape was serene, a thick layer of snow blanketing long slumbering blooms, delicate branches swaying in a crisp wind. At the base of a hill, a young stallion pawed at the ground restlessly, his breath billowing in front of him in a thin, vapory mist as he waited. Though he hadn't been there long, each minute seemed to stretch into an eternity, and already behind him there was a mad scatter of prints in the snow, loosely forming the weary loop that only pacing could.
Tossing his head, he resumed his solitary walk, kicking little tufts of snow into the air with each brisk step. His relative patience was finally rewarded when a dark shape appeared in the distance, slight of stature but instantly recognizable to the stallion.
Ears pricking, he whinnied, turning about quickly to face the young woman as she approached. Without thinking, he bounded toward her, forgetting the very vital fact that he was standing on the edge of a river.
Well, it had once been a river. With winter's gentle but all-encompassing embrace, the waters had frozen, sending a ribbon of ice threading through the landscape. It wasn't a problem for most Soquili to cross as long as they were paying attention and adjusted their pace accordingly. In his excitement, he'd forgotten, and the moment his hooves clattered against the ice, his eyes widened.
Startled, he rocked forward, kicking his back legs wildly as though he could somehow propel himself along the ice without losing his balance. For a moment, it seemed as though it would work; he began a reckless dance across the ice, hooves slipping and sliding, leaving deep scratches in its surface in arc-like patterns. His mane whipped into his eyes, obscuring his vision as he spun, and he let out a startled neigh as he felt his back legs begin to slide in one direction and his front legs the opposite.
Bracing himself for a fall, he hit the bank with such force that he sent snow spraying in a tremendous cloud around him. As the powder settled around him, he surfaced, shaking a pile of snow off his head with an irritated snort.
"Tsiyi! Are you all right?" With a laugh in her voice, the young woman hit her knees next to him, quickly scooping handfuls of snow away from his body.
Butting his head against her fondly, Tsiyi snorted again and rose to his full height. Snowflakes clung stubbornly to his hair and eyelashes, but his annoyance evaporated when the girl placed her small hand against his neck and leaned against him, pressing a light kiss to his shoulder.
Content, he exhaled, shifting his weight from foot to foot. She drew back, pleasure evident on her face as she gestured over the hill. "Let's go, then."
They set off, he swishing his tail calmly as the pair made their way over the hill to celebrate together, as they always did, the coming of the new year.
Other comments: Woo, five hundred words exactly! This was a lot of fun to write. ♥

Does the art we submit have to be specifically centerd around soquili's horses and the holidays, or can it be any piece of art?
If it's just any piece of holiday themed art, but doesn't have anything to do with soquili, then is it still ok?

11:59 P.M. CST should be 9:59 P.M. PST, I believe, since CST is two hours ahead of PST.
I think it goes PST -> MST -> CST -> EST.
