Quote: I hear a ring-ting-tingling! Hey look! A BELL!
Celeste: *trots in humming*Daisuke: *looks up and notices Celeste, before getting to his feet* Konban-wa, Retriver-san. *smiles, blue eyes twinkling* Celeste" *smiles and bows her head a little* hello Daisuke: S'good to meet you, Celeste. I'm Daisuke. Celeste: *grins* Nice to meet you Daisuke Daisuke: *scents the air lightly* What's such a lovely lady doing living in the wild, with mutts like me? Celeste: *chuckles* humans are too boring, dont give the dogs that live with them any freedom *grins* i prefer the life of a wild dog due to the fact that i can do what i want when i want and get to rely on my own abilities to survive, which is more interesting then being a lazy house petDaisuke: *chuckles* I agree full-heartedly. S'good to know. *smirks* So, Celeste, what do you like to do for fun? Celeste: *grins* uh... well... *Resists the urge to say rolling in the mud* umm... i like hunting and ... fighting and... well what do you like? Daisuke: *nods* Much of the same, especially sparring and going after larger game... although I have to admit I can't help but play with my nephew sometimes. He's quite fond of water and mud. *chuckles* It keeps him occupied, and he enjoys it. Heh, you probably think I've yet to grow up. *sheepish yet charming smile* Celeste: mmm going after bears and such * chuckles before looking at him surprised* hee i like rolling in the mud.... but unfortunately i don't have a good reason like you do *looks away embarrassed* Daisuke: *nods* Well, perhaps you'll have to come and play with my nephew and I when he's in the mood for a mud romp. *smiles* And hey, it keeps the bugs away and disguises your scent. It's got it's good points. Celeste: *smiles* i suppose... i'd love to meet your nephew sometime *grins her tail wagging* Daisuke: *tail wags slightly* I'm sure he'd love to meet you too. You like kids? I've adopted one of my own. *smiles* I've been meaning to introduce him to more wild dogs other than my friend Raithen, and his kid. Heh, we're actually starting a pack...just a group of like-minded dogs who want to make the winter a little easier on eachother. Celeste: i like kids... to an extent *chuckles* its nice that you've adopted a pup though. *titls ehr head* a pack eh? hmm interesting *wags her tail slowly* Daisuke: Yeah, I have to admit they have their moments. But then again...doesn't everyone? *nods* Yeah, just a couple dogs...but we're looking to expand. Celeste: *chuckles* i guess everyone does ... but pups seems more... prone.. to it *nods* huh how large are you thinking of going? Daisuke: *looks to Raithen and smiles fondly* Heh, mind the tigress, little buddy. *mumbles softly before turning back to Celeste* That they do. *nods sagely* Uh, well...we'll take on whomever wants to join...I have to admit I don't really have any concrete plans besides looking for my mentor. *sheepish chuckle* Celeste nodded "ah..." "perhaps i should look for a pack soon..." she thought with a slight sigh. "maybe sometime i will check out your pack... ' she tilted her head and raised an eyebrow "mentor?" she chuckled slightly "have you had this mentor since you were a pup?" she was rather curious about it, she had never had a mentor nor a pack so it was something new to learn about. Daisuke nodded. "I think we'd like that... a lot." He smiled. "Oh, my mentor...yeah I've known him since I was a puppy. My parents died when I was young and I was 'taken in'," He said the last bit sourly. "by some dog named Nero. He was a horrible dog who made me into his slave...stealing food from humans and such so he wouldn't beat me." He smiled ruefully. "But I digress, Kirby came in and rescued me from him. He taught me to hunt, how to take care of myself, how to fight...he did so much for me." He paused. "But that was probably more than you wanted to know." He added sheepishly. Celeste nodded chuckling "i'm sure you would..." she frowned "made you a slave? beat you?" she growled slightly "dogs who think they can do that to others should go rot in hell, its a pity that your parents died though but its a good thing kirby rescued you then." she grinned "no no its rather interesting, so mentors teach you all that stuff?" she smiled "that is rather kind." "Well that's typically what mentors do...and I agree, dogs like that are horrid. The main belief of our pack is, 'survival of all, not just the fittest'. That was part of what Kirby had taught me. He was like a second father to me, I...basically owe him my life." He reclined to his haunches and tucked his tail about his feet. "So, you grew up by yourself, then?" Celeste smiled "uh huh... ugh what even compels one to be so cruel like that to a fellow dog?" she shook her head looking rather disgusted. "Heh i like the motto" she wagged her tail. "yep grew up alone, my parents were pets and i got sick of it when i was a pup and ran off" she chuckled, "toughed it out in the wild."
