The story:
In the Feudal Japan Era there lived great legends of demons who ruled over the humans in pure nobility. Yokai's are lords over lands and rule small cities that humans live in. Live as either a great Yōkai or as a human. Note this is not an Inuyasha RP!

Bio: Lotus was born and raised among the lord's clan of samurai. They are the lord's lawmen and first-line defense of the land. During an attack on their homeland, she was awestruck to see the lord Kenshin fighting on the front lines along with the other samurai. It baffled her some, since it was a samurai's duty to protect the lord. When she learned of Lord Kenshin's personality and honor, she decided to focus on rising through the ranks so that she could one day serve directly under lord Kenshin. When Kenshin saw her progress and learned of her desires, he set her to a test, one that would put her ideals to the test. He staged a crime in order to incriminate himself, keeping everyone but her in the loop of knowledge. And she was then tasked to remove him from the throne by her superiors. Eventually, she passed the test when she did fight Kenshin, only to lose the battle. That was when Kenshin and her superiors told her of the test. She now serves as his bodyguard.

Once upon a time....
In the early morning Kazuko walked down the hall of the great palace of her lord. She could hear the pleasant sounds of the crickets chirping in the summer morning. Kazuko's long dark hair flowed behind her while she wore a kimono that her Lord bought for her to wear. Although it did not fit her right, she still wore it so that her lord would be happy.

Karna sat calmly in mid-air in the center of his room, floating calmly as he meditated on the sounds around him, he could hear the sound of Kazuko's feet as she walked around outside his room, probably preparing him breakfast. He smiled slightly, thinking of his closest subject, the most loyal girl he had ever known, Kazuko.

Once upon a time....
She knew that she had to be a quiet as humanly possible during the first morning hours for her Lord Karna was meditating. She entered his living chamber, not the room he is in, and started to set up the room for he early morning meal. Kazuko smiled while placing cherry blossom petals on the tray that had his meal on it. When she was done she sat on the floor in front of the door to his bed room and waited to greet him.

Karna slowly opened his eyes then landed on the floor lightly as he padded up to his door, sliding it open and smiling at Kazuko, "Good morning Kazuko, how are you feeling on this shining day?" To Kazuko's eyes his room appeared jet black, almost non-existent, like an empty void.

Once upon a time....
Kazuko smile warmly while bowing to her Lord while still knelling on the floor, "I am fine Lord Karna," she then waited for him to ask her to raise as she spoke, "I brought you fresh ginseng tea and some rice with chicken dumplings." Her dark hair looked like a veil covering her face as she bowed. she knew his room was dark and she never wondered or was curious about it.

Kazuko smiled at her master saying, "I will take care of it my lord," she spoke with a smile while sitting near him ready to pour him more tea. Yet she wondered why he said that for that is what the city elders asked her to wear around her lord, though she did not understand why.

Kazuko smiled at her Lord while she watched him eat the meal that she made for him. Although he had many servants that cooked for him, she was the only one that remained in his home while the other servants only staid at the palace for a few hours. "Thank you my lord, you are too kind" she spoke softly as she usually spoke.
