(Posting order will form its self. (Who ever posts next is next in line, so on and so forth.)
Soul's body curled slightly in her sleep. Tightening to block the consciousness of being awake, yet her sealed eyes couldn't keep the bright rays of the sun from seeping through her closed lids...
Slumber, after giving birth many a days ago, had come easily to her. She'd sleep most of the day, and only wake for food or to make sure her pups were safe. Today was no acceptation. She found herself cuddling up to her kids in a small patch of grass just behind the den. She wasn't sure were Isaac was, nor if the pack was up and wandering about, all she cared about was her pups. Peering down to them with sympathetic eyes, she began to lick each one of their heads gently, caressing the small, brown headed female first.
Naib awoke with a startle, her wails piercing to even her mothers ears. Her body began to immediately push towards her mothers fur, pressing against the soft belly of Soul and burring her tiny head under the flabby skin that kept her and her siblings safe at night. Soon though, with the coaxing and prodding of her mothers wet nose and soft murmurs did Naib calm. The small pups tail nestled between her thin limbs and her paws stretching out a bit in relaxation. She could feel only feel her mother at this point, not really paying much attention to know if the others were near or if they were scattered about the small area where her mother kept guard. Naibs head rose from its tucked position, and she let out a small squeal before resting her head once more on the earth.
Soul smiled towards Naib, calling out her name into the open so it could register again into the small pups mind, before casually peering out towards the open, keeping note to watch for danger.

(-points up to first post- Yeah, probably just behind the den or inside the den, what ever works for you. I said pups in general, but they dont all have to be here. <3 Also, I'm guessing that this is when the pups are capable of opening their eyes, because...it wouldn't be much fun if they couldn't. XD)

Sigrid lay curled in a ball to one side of her mother, drifting in and out of waking, things had been strange these first few days, that enveloping darkness of before, so deep and forever had given way to a world where things were colder and slightly harder but over everything lay the scent and precence of her mother. For Sigrid, at the moment, that was all that mattered. However, mingled in with that scent were others, her brothers and sisters, the faintest hints of another. Of course, to Sigrid, those scents meant little, all she cared about was that there were others nearby who would compete with her for her mother.
Hearing the squeal of her sister, Sigrid no longer lay still and quiet as she had done before, instead she made every effort to be as noisy and notacible as she wriggled closer to her mother's soft warmth. She even opened her eyes, still the piercing blue of youth, to guide her, making out the faint red blur that meant "mother"
Sigrid was already competitive it seemed, and willing to push aside others if it meant she got priority first.

The small orange pup named Rhesus wasn't aware of a thing in the world at this moment. He would silently refuse to wake for anyone, and seemed to ignore the movement and noises of his siblings. Yet even in such a deep sleep, his tiny body would fidgit and wiggle almost constantly. His pink tongue lolled from his mouth as he rolled from his back onto his side, legs flopping over, tail flicking up dust. As one of the creatures near him awoke, the male sighed gently in his sleep and instinctively buried his nose into the neck of a large and pleasantly warm wall of fur, absolutely content with life.
Isaac, in the mean time, wasn't so lucky. He was up and about, aimlessly patrolling the packland border through his own will, so it seemed. While usually the type to revel in endless hours of lounging around, he'd become irritatingly restless. He'd lain with his family for a while and had felt them drift off into blissful sleep the moment their heads hit the floor. This wasn't to say he wasn't tired either.. However, the Seer had found it increasingly difficult to shake the grip of conciousness, and instead found himself laying wide-awake, staring at the den wall. As he did so, the primitive thoughts and feelings of tiny brains around him buzzed about his own mind like flies to a lamp.
Some of these thoughts, mainly those belonging to his only son, were disturbingly vacant. If he was doomed to be a father, Isaac had always hoped that he'd be given a good strong lad that he could raise to become what the male had dreamt of, but never achieved. Of course, Isaac's idea of raising pups would be something of a rarity and often non-existant. But at the very least if he had something to work with, he might, if he was bored, once a week- put some effort into this parenting business.
However, this was a different story all together. The moment the boy was born, waves of unintelligence practically emulated from his egg-sized head. And obviously, the male refused to believe that any of the females had any kind of potential for even half a teaspoon of greatness.

Amani, unlike her siblings 'Rhesus' and 'Naib', had not slept at all for the past hour. She had, instead, rested by one side of her mother contently, thinking about things that didn't really make much sense. She thought about them anyway. These past few days had been a complete blur... a confusing, yet wonderful blur. Amani was exhausted by it all. She had only just opened her eyes... and, oh, the things her very own eyes had seen in such a short time! She had just discovered the sunlight and the moonlight, the sounds outside the den and the scent of other wolves that occasionally drifted into the densite. It had only been a few hours ago that the 'family' had finally gone outside the den. It had been Amani's first time to step outside from the den... she didn't think of it as an achievement, though, for her mind was still too young to register a lot of what was going on around her. It had not developed many things yet. Awareness. Morals. Free will. These things were slowly coming to her, but the idea of such things would only flash past her briefly and she would forget about them afterwards. Right now, her main instinct was to follow her mother and siblings. She was less pushy than her other sibling, 'Sigrid', and would rather just wait for her share of affection. She had little knowledge of a father or a pack. She had little knowledge of everything. She was dumbfounded... and rather hungry. Amani yelped as her stomach growled, demanding food. It seemed like everyone wanted to be cared for by their mother... and Amani was no exception.
(( Sorry it took so long for me to post!! ;___; Gaah!! Apologises for that. >.> I won't ever be so tardy again. domokun heart Ummm... also, sorry about my entry. I think I rambled on a bit. XD Nice to meet everyone, too. I can't wait to get reeeaallyy going. biggrin ))

Sigrid practically grinned as she received the attention she so sorely craved, in fact, she even managed to let out a happy peep-noise at her mother before, in a flash the attention went elsewhere. Being a pup Sigrid couldn't comprehend fairness or sharing, she beleived what all too many children of all species beleive, that the world should revolve around her and when it didn't she was unhappy.
Still not all that aware of her brothers and sisters, she took a little notice as Soul tended to each of them in turn. Rhesus on first impression to her had come across as odd, he didn't really do much or move around. Things that didn't move weren't immediately of any concern to her, why did her mother pay so much attention to him? As for Amani, Amani moved around and therefore was someone to be watched. Sigrid attemted to even wriggle over to her sister to distract Soul but was much too slow.
She had to do a full body rotation to get to the milk as it was offered, wishing somewhere in her fuzzy mind that there was a better way to do things than wriggling around on her belly. Still, despite all of this, Sigrid knew that unique happiness that only the blissfully ignorant knew, all that mattered in the world was her mother, siblings and in some distant way, that other scent and form that she recognised as like her own. Joining Naib, she too took gladly of a meal, for the time being letting the competitive streak slide, after all, everyone got their share didn't they?

((I so slow. Sorry! D: ))
As his soft, warm pillow escaped from under him and began to make loud noises, Rhesus was swiftly pulled from his heavenly state of unconciousness and was shoved back into reality. The tiny being found himself blinking repeatedly into the dark of the den for a moment, before once more becoming completely accepting of the world and everything in it. The pup watched his siblings vacantly before giving a meek yawn, propping his head back on the ground and letting his tongue lol out of his mouth so that the tip of it touched the dirt. Rhesus wasn't aware of being the runt of the litter, just as he wasn't aware that his name had been slapped on him by his father 'Because it sounds like Dufus.'
Isaac returned to the den shortly, making his way to the entrance with a natural 'slink' to his gait, despite a slight limp. The male frowned briefly as he spotted all four pups still flopping about the place uselessly, and gave them each a wide berth as he passed, as if it were likely he'd catch some disease off them. As he reach his mate, whom he greeted with a quick lick to the forehead, Isaac took a seat and turned back to eye the blasted creatures. "When do they start doing things, eh?" he grumbled out of impatience.

(( Ack! Sorry, everyone!!! *wasveryslowtoo* T^T ))
Amani closed her eyes as her mother's tongue brushed against her cheek. The warmth of the soft, squishy tongue comforted her... she wished the warmth would last forever, but it never did. All the siblings demanded attention, and Amani knew that. Although she wished to be fussed over... well, it just wasn't possible. Each needed their share. Amani felt bitter as her mother moved away and the warmth faded. She noticed Sigrid squirming beside her. Sigrid, Amani was sure, was the eldest of the pups by a few minutes. Would Soul love Sigrid more than Amani for that reason? Suddenly, Amani's peaceful nature faltered a little and was replaced by jealousy, then calmness returned to her and the feeling was gone. Amani whined a little, hoping that Soul would return to her and warm her up once more, but Soul now seemed to have other things on her mind than pups right now. A scent drifted into the den-site, a familiar yet un-recognisable scent. Following the scent came a large, masculine wolf. Amani's new-born eyes were still weak and her vision was still blurred, but by squinting she could just make out the wolf, bluey-black in colouring... and her eyes widened a little. His eyes were very bright, he was very big compared to she and her siblings... who the hell was he?

Soul watched as the female nearest her, Naib, struggled nearer, till the pup was able to connect with the source of food. Soul then found herself rolling onto her side, so as the pups could get to their feeding and she could get to more lounging, if not napping. Her head tossed back and her eyes fluttered, her body desperately tried to keep the she-wolf awake for as long as possible. She felt yet another pup manage their way closer, till they too pressed against her stomach and began to immediately feast as well. Her head lifted quickly, so as she could see why the other two, Rhes and Amani hadn't come when she spotted the lanky bloak - Isaac.
'Welcome' she murmured softly to her mate as he approached the den. Her nose flared, taking in the lofty scents that lurked on the males pelt, but she didn't fuss over the variations of 'clothing' he bore on his fine, yet mangy hide. Instead, she focused in on his arrival. 'Isaac; I'm glad you've decided to come home. We've missed you.' Her eyes scanned about the small area of pups, then shifted back to the blue form. 'They haven't had much alone time with their father.' Her brow quirked with this remark, and as she said this, she rolled her head back down onto the soft, murky earth, her ears pricking as he began to speak.
Does he have to be so hateful?
Soul felt her body heat up as she thought long and hard (for a good minute or so) on this comment. Then, she rolled her eyes and lifted her head once more, eyeing the male. 'They will begin doing things in good time. Now is the time to worry about becoming established with the yougin's. They need a father ya'know.' Her ears flicked back against her cranium. She looked on towards Isaac for yet another moment, before peering to the pups and smiling.
'Isaac, can you argue with the fact that these four bundles of joy are just so cute? And sweet clusters they be! Don't you agree?' She gave the male an inquiring grin, before keeping her gaze on the pups.
In the mean time, Naib too had taken notice of the new life-form that had just arrived. Her muzzle released from the succulent nozzle and turned about slightly, so as to take a better look at the intruder. Glancing up to her mother quickly, she heard the hasty actions towards the male, but also sensed and scented a familiarized wiff of the ol'male, so finalizing he was indeed no threat to the bunch. She also concluded that he must be the litters father, for he gave off the smell of both her mother AND siblings. Along with interesting others. Naib, shrugging off the fact that this male loomed just before the group, turned once more and took hold of the n****e, closing her eyes and quickly drifting into a steady beat of sucking and relaxing.

((I'm by far the slowest. sweatdrop Many many apologies.))
Sigrid heard the words spoken above her, feeling the vibrations of her mother's speech from where she drank. But the young pup was greedy and made sure she had her fill before even considering turning her attention to her father. Something in his tone told her immature mind that he was not as warm and open to her and her siblings as her mother and that made her angry. Why, she couldn't comprehend, all she knew was the most basic of emotions. Grudgingly releasing her hold on her link with the milk that sustained her, the female craned open her young eyes for the first time that day, taking in the coloured blur that loomed not so far off. She was immediately taken by the sheer size of the other wolf, her mother, reclining didn't seem half as big as the blue that met her eyes. She looked in silence until her eyes protested, then, with a peep of indignity at her own limitations, she resumed her drinking. What an odd creature, so familiar, yet so different, if only she were that big someday, she thought to herself, then she would be able to have all the milk for herself.
Speaking of which, she noted that her siblings were not as still and quiet as they had been, she counted (in the broadest sense of the word) three of them, and that was all, they would feature much in her life but she was unaware of this. For now, in this warm place, all that mattered were the big shapes.
