Our school choir & band just got back from the Heritage festival in... Seattle? 22-26th, I believe.
I'm now intimidated for trying out for Ladies First.
See why?
Next year they're going to... China. o_o;
But they got gold! And first, in the Barbershop category! =D

We went to Washington DC for some Festivals of Music.
We came, we saw, we completely destroyed the other bands.
biggrin It was super fun. But it was reeeaaalllyyy hot during our sightseeing day on our own. And the last day it was cold and rainy.
I think this year we're staying in state. OUr Band Director wants to go to South Padre Island I think....

We have a trip year every other year. This year(2010) we are going to DisneyLand for heritage.

I've been out of school for some time now. but our band went to Disneyworld, Chicago, New Orleans, and St. Louis. I didn't get to go on any of them because I tended not to care about grades and kept on failing XP
I don't think I'd have liked any of them but Chicago anyways.

We went to St. Louis this year, got to go up in the arches and go on a boat ride. It was fun, I guess.
