It seems that recently everybody that new how to make a good zombie production finally got their films and/or in this case miniseries made.
Dead Set is a British production with the premise quite simply being: It's eviction night on the set of Big Brother UK when a zombie outbreak causes chaos. May sound lame, but I gotta tell you, it was excellent. The acting is great, the writing is great, the plot is great. At one point you begin to realize that what you're watching isn't so much a zombie movie but more of an examination of isolation.
Quite excellent. It's only out on DVD in the UK i believe, but I'm sure there're some resourceful people out there who'll find some way of viewing it. And if so, they're in for a treat.
