Sinbad:
Sinbad was lounging out by the boarder, licking his paw clean for the second time now. He'd not hear a word about how 'ungroomed' he looked, not one more jab at his beautiful mane. His sleek fur. Not another word.

Settling his paw back down, he tipped his head to one side as a speck of black caught his attention. "Heh... I knew it."

Jua:
When she reached Sinbad's location, Jua promptly moved to disfigure his face, his body, anything. While she'd been less than happy to socialize with him before... She was livid to see his face now. Something had ruffled her fur, and she made it as plain as day. "You a*****e!"

Sinbad:
"I've been called that." He smirked and reclined himself against one of his shoulders casually. His free paw came up to rest under his chin, "What's the problem this time? You swallow something?"

Jua:
Growling, she tried to throw a rock at him. Lions were always aweful at the act, anyway, though, so it didn't go far. "You! YOU'RE the problem! I wish I'd never MET you!" Tail lashing, she got directly in his face. "I should scratch up that face of yours!"

Sinbad:
Sinbad's nose creased up as he lazily batted the rock away. "How dare you... talking to the lord of this pride that way. Honstly." He shook his head, "You can -try- to scratch up my face- or you can spill it. What's going on? You weren't foaming at the mouth last we spoke."

Jua:
"I wasn't PREGNANT last we spoke!" Again she tried to attack him, murder in her eyes. It didn't matter if others saw her, she was beyond unhappy and beyond reason.

Sinbad:
"Oh snap!" Sinbad threw his head back and laughed. Well it was her own fault for being in heat- and inviting him back to her cave. "Ahhh well there's some good news! Cubs everywhere. Your siblings, my sibings, and now my little kittens." He tipped his head to one side, "Come to think of it- you do look fatter."

Jua:
Snarling, Jua glared at him. "Yes, well, my stomach isn't as fat as YOUR head." She paused, then groaned. "Great, they'll have heads as big as YOURS is!" She shook her head, glaring at him. "At least you're not still calling me sweetness."

Sinbad:
"Haha." He shrugged, "What can I say? My boys are good swimmers I suppose... and besides- think of it as a service to the pride. With all the cubs popping up, we'll have an army of purebloods. The mud-blood rogues won't stand a chance. This desert..." He flexed his claws, "Will be ours again."

Jua:
When he put it that way, he made it sound like a good idea. She still wasn't happy, though. Being so hungry wasn't something she liked, nor intended to repeat. "And just who will our cubs have cubs with when they grow up? The only lions I've seen around are slaves, or your brothers and sisters. It would be a very short-lived return."

Sinbad:
Sinbad shrugged. "That's not something we gotta worry about right now. One step at a time, alright? You get all stressed out about what's ahead you can't see what's in front of you. Good way to get clocked inbetween the eyes."

Jua:
She never thought she'd see the day, but he had a piece of advise she thought was good. Letting out a grunt, Jua sat next to him. There was nothing more to say, it seemed. Though... She looked at him, ears flicking back. "I know this sounds cub-ish, but does this make us mates or something?"

Sinbad:
"Uh...." He looked to the side. "...well my old man and mom aren't mates. He says they had an 'agreement'. I think we have an agreement more than anything. Mated pairs don't greet eachother with threats. Or so I've heard."

Jua:
"Or so I've seen..." She nodded, turning to stare out beyond the borders. "Then it's just an agreement. For the pride's sake..."

Sinbad:
"You're not gonna hit me or somethin' are you? I mean come on, you ready to settle down yet? I just got into my mane." He chuckled, "I'll help with the little beasts but I'm not like... hitched."

Jua:
She shook her head, glaring at him. "I'll just use words now... Don't need to shatter some young minds by explaining that mommy and daddy don't like each other..."

Sinbad:
"Hey I grew up fine. Though my folks didn't exactly hate eachother." He shrugged again. "...man. Kids..." He shook his head. It was big news. He'd likely blow some steam later.

Jua:
The dark lioness could only grunt, settling down to watch the border. Oh, just what would her mother say... What would her father say, for that matter? And what would HIS parents say? She shook her head, clearing the thoughts from her mind. Look to the present, not the future...

Sinbad:
"So..." He glanced over his shoulder, "Where'd the blue thing go? Did he get scooped up by a vulture or somethin'?"

Jua:
Glancing at him, she frowned. "No... I don't know WHERE the fuzzball went. I guess he went off hunting with the pin cushion... Or they're rolling in the sand or something." She brushed away a beetle, sending it tumbling.

Sinbad:
"Better not. I'm borrowing it from my sister. She likes her toys to stay clean. It's an ego thing." He huffed. Pot calling the Kettle black.

Jua:
Jua could only grunt, laying her head down. All this yelling had her exhausted. Letting out a sigh, sending some dust and a few grains of sand rolling, she closed her eyes for hopefully a nap. It wasn't the best place, but it was a place, and she was comfortable.
