The Principle and About the Planetary Symbol
The Principle
Aries=I
Male- The Masculine Principle. Aries emerges from the watery dissolution of Pisces's primordial womb. Herein lie the principles of form, objectivity, activity, and aggression. The self and its fulfillment are the premier raison d'etre. Aries man views the world as ripe for the picking.
Female- With the first zodiacal precept, from the primordial slime of Pisces's dissolution emerges the solid physical energy of Aries with it's directive Masculine Principle of form, objectivity, and action. Selfhood is paramount and the Aries woman is most concerned with its preservation. She is a realist, taking little stock in emotions or spiritual concerns, which, like everything else in life, are simply matters of practicality. Her signs's matter-of-fact motto is 'I am.'
Tauras=II
Male- The Feminine Principle. The second Zodiacal precept of Tauras is the counterpoint to Aries's Masculine Principle. Here objectivity is replaced by subjectivity, and content takes precedence over form. Planet Venus desires and demands quality in all things. In keeping with his sign's motto, 'I have,' Tauras man views existence as he does a collector, filling his life with delightful possessions, people included.
Female- The Feminine Principle. The second Zodiacal precept of Tauras is the counterpoint to Aries's Masculine Principle. Here objectivity is replaced by subjectivity. Venus calls for passivity and receptivity in the Taurean, who takes life in rather than aggressively attacks it. Male- The Principle of Consciousness. Whereas Aries is objective and Taurus is subjective, the sign of Gemini can step to one side and mentally view experience from both angles at once. He takes in impressions and information, at the same time delivering his own messages and agenda. Interraction is what it's all about for Gemini man, a master of commerce, communication, and all such exchange. Fittingly his sign's motto is 'I think.'
Female- The Principle of Awareness. Gemini is acutely cognizant of mental mechanics. Her motto is 'I think,' and she is a master at mind games, for she sake of her own amusement as well as putting the wheels of her success in motion. She consciously alternates between the two previous forces of (Arien) aggression and (Taurean) passivity, avenger and victim, to outwit others.
Cancer=IV
Male- The Mother Principle. Via its ruler Moon, Cancer represents a model of the world environment as having a tangible feminine source, Mother Nature, from whence all life stems. Cancer man subscribes to this principle in the organic way he lives his life, rarely imposing his will, but functioning by 'going with the flow' of his inherent instincts and emotions. His motto is 'I feel,' and he is disposed to ride the tide of life experience. Cancer seeks assimilation into this feminine nature rather than to assert any mastery over it.

Male- The Father Principle. The fifth zodiacal precept represented by the Sun and Leo is centered on the concepts of authority, absolutism, power, and supremacy, as well as a sense of wholeness, if not totalitarianism. The Father Principle represents the belief that divinity does not stem from a natural, tangible (feminine) source, but from an unknowable, abstract, but all-powerful (masculine) force. Female- The Father Principle. Via the Sun's rulership, the sign embraces a patriarchal view of the world, as a place of male mastery, authority, and domination. Female- Principle of Reconciliation. Virgo makes amends in the world, healing and otherwise contributing to mankind. Virgo woman must take control of shaping her own character and thwart her penchant for being molded by others' actions or demands. Only then can she claim her birthright of being a guardian angel to humanity and fully embrace her sign's motto, 'I serve.'
Libra=VII
Male- The Apollonian Principle, Libra seeks to live a life of order and reason. He is concerned with building a harmonious civilization based on beautiful ideologies and replete with a pleasing aesthetic. He sculpts out his own character, which he presents to the world as poised, disciplined, and equitable. His mottoes are 'I balance' and 'we are,' the latter expressing his penchant for perfect union.
Female- With the 7th zodiacal principle, the dissonance of Virgo gives way to the consonance of Libra and its Apollonian precepts of order, reason, and beauty. The term is derived from Chthonia 'underground,' yet another name for Persephone. It relates to the machinations of the internal feminine experience - the earth being personified as female. Regenerative forces of the planet and the reproductive process of women are both call into question during the 'cold storage' associated with the onset of autumn and menopause respectively. Her sign's motto 'I desire' signals this femme fatale's infamously hidden agendas.
Sagittarius=IX
Male- The Dionysian Principle of expansion, ecstasy, exaltation, and optimism. All mutable sign negotiate the opposite energies of the two signs that precede them on the wheel. Libra's Apollonian Principle of orderly civilization is followed by Scorpio's Chthonian Principle of messy nature. The Dionysian precept paints civilization with a wildy natural brush. To inspire true culture in this petri dish called life, Cap seeks to block certain influences so that civilization's soul might flourish; he considers a dose of self-denial nourishment for his own spirit.
Female- The Principle of Containment. Structure is a means of conservation just as a reservoir of water, with restricted entry, keeps the resource pure, guarding against waste. Capricorn shifts the focus in life from quantity (a Sagittarian concern) to quality. The horn of plenty is a container of bounty, just as Capricorn woman's reserve and conservatism ensure she will, in time, meet with her own bountiful lot in life.
Aquarius=XI
Male- Principle of Deviation. As the model of evolution of the species shows us, survival depends on mutations that meet with the requitements for adaptation. The Aquarian view is that universal or spiritual survival of mankind is based on sudden, new forays into the vanguard.
Female- The Principle of Diversity. Aquarius celebrates uniqueness and eccentricity as a means of self-expression but also as a way to ensure the soulful health of humanity. Just as a gene pool mustn't become too restrictive lest it weaken, the Aquarian concept of spiritual diversity ensures the health of the collective consciousness, which must change and grow if it is to survive.
Pisces=XII
Male- The Principle of Dissolution - a synonym for death, Pisces symbolizes a return to the primordial soup. A metaphoric fetus in the process of rebirth, Pisces is both a product of inherited traits and of evolution. Dissolution is also a dream state, Pisces representing imagination made manifest. Dissolution also symbolizes love, which embraces all diversity, deliquescing it into a wholism of humanity. His sign's motto 'I believe' is a mechanism for turning dreams into reality.

Aries

Aries may express sexism, predujice, and zenophobia.

She has great difficulty with romantic commitment and will sometimes quit relationships rather than communicate or compromise. As she's sexually liberated, fidelity is not a particular strength.
Tauras
Male- A Minotaur in the making, Taurus can suffer from over-possessiveness just as he might express gluttony in food, drink and other substances. He can be obscure and withholding in his emotions, experiencing difficulty with self-expression. He is obstinately fixed in his ways and may be secretive if not closeted in his obsessions, sexual or otherwise. He is often fetishistic when it comes to feminine trappings and may indulge in transvestism.
Female- Vanity is rampant among Taurean women. She tends to overpersonalize experience, failing in objectivity. She can be too concerned with appearances and thus have difficulty with aging. Taurus may struggle with low self-esteem. She may also put too much emphasis on material concerns, being greedy for and miserly with money. Eating disorders may also plague her.
Gemini
Male- Gemini man can be an excitement addict. His thrill for deals and risk may rise to lying, cheating, or other underhanded behaviour. He is Machiavellian, maintaining that the end always justifies the means. Dual in character, he overrationalizes. He can be sexually immature, an eternal playboy with an often compulsive need for variety. He can suffer nervous complaints and inferiority complexes, overcome through the power of positive thinking.
Female- Dual-natured, Gemini is often passive-aggressive and may suffer from borderline personality disorders or even manic depression. Her craving for attention may see her using sex or troublemaking to gain notice. Prone to nervous exhaustion, Gemini may find stimulants to be her drug of choice.
Cancer
Male- Cancer feels overly responsible. He may live in a fantasy world, more of a dreamer than a doer. As a pretender, he can fall prey to pretention. A role player, he can be overly sycophantic. In relationships, he can be needy. He often suffers from disassociative feelings, a sense he is a phony of a fraud not in touch with his truest goals, feelings, or desires. He can be reclusive if not agoraphobic.
Female- Cancer can be over-emotional, self-pitying, and overanxious to please. she typically has mother issues, suffers psychological abuse, and may act out in rebellious or promiscuous ways. She has difficulty establishing boundaries with friends and romantic partners in particular, and she is given to melancholy and fits of hysteria. A certain 'lunacy,' named after her ruling Moon (Luna), can plague the female Crab.
Leo
Male- The Leo man is given to temper tantrums and other tyrannical behaviour and suffers, in some degree, form a superiority (god) complex. Supressed emotional issues, typically feelings of abandonment by the father, can lead to the repression of creativity, laziness, and underachievement. Gambling can become a psychological obsession, one way the Leo can experience the excitement of risk without the responsibility of failure.
Female- Leo has father issue; she generally finds the male-parental influence weak or arbitrary. She may project this view on men and could be at once predatory and emasculating. She can be imperious and dictatorial, particularly toward other women. She may be ritualistic in the extreme. Leo woman has difficulty to admitting fault and is given to rage. She can be preoccupied with perfection - an overachiever and workaholic. For all her passions, she struggles with showing simple affection, falling into cold and calculating attitudes and behaviour.
Virgo
Male- Virgo may suffer from many irrational fears, such as disease phobia. He can be distrustful and critical of others. Feelings of disappointment may fuel pathological lying, especially surrounding his origins. Innate self-loathing may lead to psychosomatic illnesses and/or an obsession with his physical being. Virgo tends to tamper with his looks, falling prey to eating disorders or even a compulsion for plastic surgery.
Female- Virgo may suffer from emotional blocks and arrested development. She can be highly neurotic, particularly about familial ties, to which she often clings. Easier said than done for her to be of service, as she is often dependant on siblings and plagued by resentments over loved ones' successes. She can be a fair-weather friend, appropriating the mannerisms of people whom she must then, as a result, discard.
Libra
Male- Libra can be rigid and emotionally inflexible. Life needs to fit into boxes, which it rarely does in actuality. He is overly idealistic and refuses to look at the 'darker' unconscious aspects of himself. Bon vivantism can border on the pathological, and he tends to overindulge in drugs and alchohol. Likewise, he may fall prey to sexual addiction. He can suffer repression on this score as with any number of emotional traumas, which may ultimately lead to depression.
Female- The Libra woman often suffers from a superiority complex; she can be self-righteous, contrary, and argumentative. Fear of intimacy keeps her from committing and sees her bolting from relationships, seemingly without remorse. She is apt to be selfish and erratic, and tends toward promiscuity as a way to prove herself passionate. Due to a highly competitive nature, she has difficulty befriending other women.
Scorpio
Male- Scorpio suffers from suspicions. He is intrusive and confrontational and can be bullying in youth. Teasing can become outright abuse. He has a notoriously pessimistic view of society, which can lead to nihilism. He may suffer from obsessive-compulsive behaviour. Particularly focused on money, he can have a maniacally stingy streak. When he feels slightly crossed by others, they will be frozen right out of his life.
Female- Scorpio is imperious. Her brand of superiority complex rivals Leo man's. Like frozen Persephone, she can be rigid, icy, and expectant of others to do her bidding. Her sting manifests when faced with strangers, of whom she's almost pathologically leery.
Saggittarius
Male- The Sagittarius can be reckless, feeling overly optimistic and expansive due to Jupiter's energy. He has difficulty with commitment and fidelity as his lust for experience calls the shots. He may be wildly experimental with drugs and sexual activity, perhaps inviting danger. He has difficulty recognizing the limits of mortality, considering himself more than mere flesh and blood.
Female- Like a thoroughbred, Sag woman can be high-strung and skittish. She is prone to panic attacks. Projecting herself so far ahead in life lead to feeling unworthy or fraudulent. To overcompensate, she puts on imperial airs to convince herself she's deserving of success. She has a pathological need to be liked. She is people-pleasing and oft falls into two-facedness. She can be overly materialistic and succumb to a 'let 'em eat cake' attitude.
Capricorn
Male- Melancholia plagues Capricorn. He can be as dark as a black cloud. He seems to be almost in love with suffering, disinclined to make positive changes when opportunity knocks. He can be an elitist - closed to new people and ideas. He tends to dwell on the past and is almost pathologically behind the times. He is an infamous know-it-all and is fearful of competition.
Female- Spontaneity is an issue for the Capricorn, who sometimes misses opportunities due to overcaution. She might stifle her creativity by being too pragmatic, just as she might repress her sexuality. An often pathological need for control and structure might see her falling into obsessive-compulsive behaviour or eating disorders.
Aquarius
Male- Aquarius is almost pathologically self-aware, as if his every thought holds some earth-shattering truth. He often feels misunderstood by the world, which can give rise to seriously antisocial behaviour. He is skittish in intimate settings. Signature emotional detachment can turn to depersonalization. Naturally attuned to abstract ideology, Aquarius may ride a fine line between genius and delusional hysteria. He may be inclined to sexual deviations that others consider depraved.
Female- The Aquarian female tends to shirk responsibility and to buck authority. She can be rather fanatical in her interests, susceptible to mind control and the cult phenomenom. If any sign is likely to wear a tinfoil hat and wait for the mother ship, it is Aquarius woman. She can suffer from escapist fantasies and exhibit deviant behaviour.
Pisces
Male- Pisces often exhibits some form of a messiah complex. He can be pathologically jealous of others' successes. He is hypersensitive and prone to drug and alcohol abuse. He may be oedipal. 'Attuned' to mystical occurences, he may suffer from hallucinations, paranoia, or schizophrenia.
Female- Pisces is often overly passive and codependent. She may suffer from certain fears and anxieties, including agoraphobia, and be susceptible to drug and alcohol abuse. She can live in a world of fantasy and be pathologically dishonest. She sometimes lacks ambition despite her love for luxury. As a partner or parent she can be inappropriately overbearing and overprotective.
