Sometimes Rachel wondered if he might have some sort of vendetta against perfection. He disliked a room that was totally clean - particularly when it was painted white and looked severely sterilized. And he disliked totally unblemished objects. It always felt to him that in life, everything is meant to have flaws and things without them were unnatural and irksome. This was probably something that came over from his childhood and raising but that isn't important right about now.

The important thing was that he had a student he'd be teaching that day - another Wrath kid - and his lesson plan was pretty much strength training, in a bit of a bizarre way. He'd already warned the people in the surrounding rooms that there'd be a rather large ruckus in his classroom that day and hopefully they wouldn't complain - he had warned them and there was a sign on the door.

Lined up on one side of the mostly-white room were a ton of cheap pots, of varying sizes, shapes and weights. There were also three pairs of clear shop glasses, a broom and a dustpan laying on the edge of the large sheet he had the pots placed on. He had also set up two semi-barriers in front of the area. One was a large, somewhat thick piece of clear plastic, that looked like it'd probably be used in place of a window or something. It was to be their shield, so to speak, against the broken pieces when the pots were lobbed. The only other 'protective' thing was what looked like a large piece of black paper taped over one section of the wall that one might assume was a window, did they not realize that there were probably no windows in this part of the building.

Now all that had to be done was to wait for the student to arrive and hope the guardian didn't have a hissy fit over the exercise. Any time then...

"Hello?" Santana said as the door opened, the tallish blonde child entering ahead of his guardian before the albino man stepped in after him. It was only in afterthought that he'd realize this was a bad idea...what if the teacher had been a woman? Santana decided there and then that from now, he went into rooms first, if only to protect Litural from harm.

Noticing the teacher, he offered a nod and moved up beside the child, placing a hand on Lit's shoulder. "Hi...I think we've got the right place. This is supposed to be a class for Lit?"

"Let's get this over with," Litural said strongly, his main eyes looking at the teacher, almost as if he was sizing the man up. The third eye, blue as ever, was inspecting the room. It reminded him entirely too much of his cell while he'd been living here. He didn't like it, and that showed with a slight shift in Litural's stance. His wings fluffed out, agitated, and the boy stood slightly on the balls of his bare feet. He had prepared himself to run.

They were not going to stick him into a jacket. Ever. Again.

Rachel nodded and walked over towards the door, taking a paper sign and some tape to put it on the door. All the sign really read was 'Breaking stuff inside - you have been warned'.

"Hello to the both of you, you can just kind of go stand over behind that plastic, in front of the pots and I'll put up this sign and shut the door. The techs here creep me out a bit and we don't need interruptions during this um....session." he explained, his tone even.

After the sign had been put up and the door shut - obviously not locked though, he turned back to the other two. "This is mostly going to be a strength exercise, of sorts. For safety reasons, we'll need to stand behind the glass plate and wear the shop glasses. You're mostly just going to be lobbing the pots at the walls as hard as you can, starting with the lighter ones and progressing on from there. Does that work for the both of you?"

Litural blinked, all three eyes focusing on the teacher as he explained the class. He glanced over at the pots, and snuffed out a breath through his nose.

"Really? This is gonna be easy," he stated. Not proudly, not pushy...for him, it was fact. Litural had already been known to throw down with the toughest of the techs at SoS, and that had been as a toddler, a baby. Clenching his fingers into tight fists, several knuckles popped in unison as he made his way over to behind the plastic. Really, he didn't even care about the protection aspect. The only pain he feared was that of a needle, and it wasn't so much the pain as the aftermath of being poked with the stupid thing.

Santana watched Lit go, his head shifting back and forth as he considered the lesson. He glanced at teacher from the corner of his eye, stepping over to him to talk in a hushed tone.

"Lit is pretty strong. He's given me a run for my money on more than one occasion...you got anything heavier than those pots in case he runs out of things to chuck?"

"I might." Rachel commented as he wandered over to sit down on what seemed to be a box covered by the sheet - a previously unnoticeable box. Putting on his glasses, he shrugged a bit. "Can't go too much heavier though since that would screw up the wall and the people next door might get a little too annoyed with me."

Santana followed after Rachel, putting on glasses as well before standing in the 'safe zone'.

"Just go for it?" Litural said, lifting up one of the smaller pots and lightly tossing it between his hands. He might as well get the little ones over with since the big ones were going to offer the most fun.

"I guess so, Lit," Santana said, glancing to Rachel to make sure it was okay for Lit to just start chucking.

"Sure. If you want, we can make a target on the wall for you to throw at just to add at least some challenge to it, if you want." the man said with a shrug. "Just lob away, kid."

Litural hefted the pot one last time...and then with little effort, chucked it at the wall. It shattered into beautiful fragments than still broke down further as they fell onto the floor.

The child stepped back with a satisfied grin, looking down immediately for the next pot. And the next after that one was thrown, also. The small ones were gone through with ease and utter enjoyment. Enjoyment that only grew as his ammo got larger and heavier.

Rachel carefully uncovered the wooden box he'd been sitting on as the child got through the rest of the pots and things. Out of it, he pulled a target to paste onto the wall - just to add a bit to the challenge but not much, and the rest was full with ceramic statues (and one metal baseball bat). They varied in heaviness but had been a bargain at some store or another he'd passed (the man had used a few of those in another of his classes but that was unrelated).

"Here. Lob the statues at the target. Try to hit is as best you can. When you run outta statues, you can beat the box to scraps - I need to break it up to throw it out anyway - with the bat. You can take the bat with you afterwards if your guardian allows it. I honestly don't care that much. Anyway, proceed with the destruction." Rachel informed Lit, stepping once more behind the plastic and going to chill. Really, he'd not cared too much about this lesson, but hey, it served the purpose and got the kid out of there (which he was sure Lit probably wanted to be) and on with his life faster.

"Yeah!" Lit cheered, sounding like a child for once in his time with his guardian. His whole face lit up as he started to make a dive for the box, all three eyes glowing as he oogled that pretty, silver bat.

Santana frowned deeply, watching the teacher uncover the materials...and then walk off. What the hell? What kind of teacher was this guy? He was just going to let Lit destroy things? Where was the lesson? WHAT was the lesson?

"Hold off there, Litural," Santana said, his voice rather low and his ears laying flat into the hair of his head.

"Santana," Lit began, a slight scowl on his face...but at least he stopped. Sighing, the boy just stood about an arm's reach away from the material, the look in his main eyes longing while the third remained disappointed, glancing at Santana sporadically.

"Excuse me," he directed at the teacher, a little more than agitated and apprehensive. "But what is today supposed to be teaching him? All Lit's doing is creating havoc, and he already knows how to do that pretty well."

He was giving the teacher the benefit of the doubt. Bad day, bad week...hell, maybe he was having a bad year, but the fact that he 'didn't care that much' about what was going on really ticked Santana off.

Rachel turned to Santana then, his eyes a bit dark and a slight twitch forming at his cheek.

"I have been teaching here barely a month. I am teaching students of a nature I am not used to in a place I am utterly creeped out by and most of my students seem adverse to coming to. I haven't got a clue what the hell to teach any of my students seeing as I have taught about 3 things in my lifetime and am skilled in about 10 things tops, the majority of which aren't at all applicable to classes here. I have to pretty much pull lesson plans out of thin air, not knowing a damn thing about the preferences, learning capabilities, or current skills of my students. In regular schools, you've got at least a semester with students to figure out how and what to properly teach your class. Here, I have one student at a time to tailor lessons to and I get to see them about once and that's it. I don't even think that's a reasonable amount of time to learn a new skill at all."

"Yes, this is pretty damn chaotic, and is a poor excuse for a lesson. That'll happen occasionally, particularly till I've get the hang of coming up with some lesson or another that they can use. I may know I'm supposed to be teaching a skills class but there are a TON of skills in the universe, and I haven't got a bloody clue who needs to, wants to, or could possibly benefit from learning what. It's not like a class where you're required to learn chemistry or algebra. You're required to learn pretty much something that qualifies as a skill. And since I don't think you can really teach chastity, there was a minor recommendation about not teaching him flight, and the only thing mentioned about Litural is strength from his wrath side, I guessed and went with that for what to do.'

Rachel hated his job pretty damn much, and no, he didn't care enough about this class to teach something important - it was a useless class they were REQUIRING the kids to come to, with no say in the matter of what sort of skill and no real tips. It was degrading to him as a teacher to have to just make up a bullshit class, and he'd much rather be teaching something practical, but till he knew exactly WHAT to teach, he had to do this.

"Did you have any more questions?" the man asked, after he'd finished his tirade. He may not yell, scream and break things when he got angry, but Rachel Pateko would definitely give all of his damn reasons, be grouchy, and twitchy when he needed to.

Santana scowl became a glare as the teacher went on. There was too much in his head to think about what to say next...and none of them were good.

"Yes, are we done here?" he finally said after a good, long pause. "Since you seem both unwilling and incapable to teaching Litural anything of value, I don't see much of a reason to waste our time here encouraging a behavior I'm trying my damnedest to control in my charge."

The words were acid on Santana's tongue. They were meant to bite and provoke.

Litural stood quietly in the protected space, listening to the two men speak. There was something eerie about him there...a strangeness to the silence. He almost seemed pleased with the anger the two of them were expressing. Actually, he appeared to enjoy it as was very evident in the happy squint that crinkled his third eye.

Rachel did not need this, nor did he want it. Nor did he care what some guy he'd never see again though of him - particularly when what he said was true, by the blonde's standards. He did not have to get mad, he did not need to explain himself a second time, and he didn't want to put up with this guy - particularly if the man wanted to leave. That was perfectly acceptable to him so, leaning back calmly, Rachel nodded.

"Fine by me. I can't hold you here and I have no wish to. For all I'm sure of, you could be completely right. So go ahead and leave, if you like." he informed Santana with a shrug before just as calmly walking over to pick up one of the figurines and the baseball bat.

Tossing the figurine into the air, he swung the bat and hit it into the target. Neither men nor Litural were outside of the safe area so he was fine to hit it at the damn wall. "Anyway, if you guys are leaving, I'm going to deal with breaking this stuff myself. I bought it to smash to pieces and damn if I'm not gonna do that."

"Santana," Lit began, almost pleading. He didn't want to go...he'd been having fun.

But it was that same attitude that worried Santana. He did not need Litural getting hyped up in smashing things and then have to take him home and deal with the aftermath.

"Come on, Lit. We're outta here," the furred man stated firmly, heading towards the door. He'd pause near it to look back at the boy. Slowly and obviously disappointed, Lit would follow soon after...neither man nor boy saying anything as they left the classroom.
