This could be useful in a bayonet charge. Can you imagine the response on the other side?

Make a mount with two of them. Offset so that it's perfectly side by side and separated by an inch or two.
Put it on full rev, and set it on the ground.
Chain-driven AR.
As to the practicality I don't know.
Unless you can make it fire when it sees something.
