Introduction Part 1 - Thread How It Works Greetings Agents! This thread will be the first in what I hope will become a series of S13;D3 RP Missions, but I'll be discussing that in the latter part of the introduction. For now, I will simply be aquainting you with the way this RP will work, and how I came upon this style of RP. I first started RP'ing in a forum that went a bit against the norms of RP due to its former size and diversity, though it's been dead for at least three years now. [the url of said forum is http://z10.invisionfree.com/CoolForums] Thus, the way I originally learned to make RP's is slightly deviant from standard rp procedure. The important thing to remember is that while it may be confusing at first, just stick with it and it'll all make sense. In the begining, I believe it was referred to as Story Book RP. Essentialy, this is a style of RP that, while mostly free-form and user-run, has a structured and pre-determined begining and ending and allows for both sequels and prequels, though everything in between is user decided. In regards to posting order, instead of posting in turns or cycles, posting order is simply determined by logical actions, reactions, and responses (AKA free-form), with the exceptions of necessary NPC posts. For example, if during the RP a computer asks everyone to state their names, each person would need to make a post of them doing so, but not in any order OR 1 person can state everyones names. However, if an enemy appears and begins attacking, RP'ers most post their response in accordance with other posts. Thus if Agent 1 makes the first post defending himself from the attack, Agent 2cannot simply charge said Enemy, or he/she would risk being hit by Agent 1's attacks, Get it? Basically, it's all about strategy and planning. I believe that covers it , so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Introduction Part 2 - RP Details By now many of you may be wondering, "Ok, so I'm here. But why? What's this about?" Well, I'm here to answer that/ This RP begins as a normal Weapons Test inside the GiB Training Facility. However, during the initial procedures, Lab Experiment S.A.X. escapes and goes on a rampage, breaking through the walls seperating the training facility to the Expirimental Facility. Your mission, is to elliminate this expiriment before it makes contact with the outside world using your very own custom weapon. Good Luck.

RP Objectives The primary objectives of this RP are to familiarize yourself with the workings of Story Book-RP, and practice RP in combat scenarios, in case of future events where we must defend citizens from attack, such as during the ball last year. Secondary objectives include expanding knowledge of GiB weaponry, as well as associating your character with a specific weapon which they will come to master, customize, and upgrade throughout future missions.

RP Rules 1) Be kind to all RP'ers. Not everyone is expireinced in the ways of rp and some are very shy. So if they make mistakes, kindly point them out and get over it. 2) Read *carfully* before you post. Make sure what you're about to post *actaully* makes sense with what's going on. 3) Post consistancy is next to godliness. In other words, if your charcater has a *certsin* personality, follow through with it. And if your character is sitting on the toilet one second, the next second they can't magically be in some other remote place. Same thing goes for equipment. If your character is hiding in a phone booth, they should not be able to pull out an SG4K and snipe someone 3 floors above them just because they feel a disturbance in the force. 4. If you decide to quit the RP, don't just leave, post an RP acceptable reason for vanishing, like be abducted by a friendly Zurg, or being knoced unconcious and then getting retreived by a cleaner-bot. 5. HAVE FUN * And yes, I am aware of the typo's. They exist to test whether or not you are following the rules.*

Computer Welcome, Agents, to the Department of Newly Enhanced and Expiremental Weapons Development! Please input your Agent Identification Card as well as your weapon of choice so that we may assign you your initial side arm and begin the traing simulator. Please retrieve your side arm from the compartment to your left. It has been imprinted with your Genetic code and will operate only for you. Analysis complete. All weapons now online and fully functional. Please handle with caution. They are not toys. Computer Side arm registration complete. Training Simulator will commence in 5...4...3...2---- Warning! Section 13 Security Breach! Lab Subject S.A.X. has escaped! Last seen within the vicinity of Weapons Locker, headed towards the rear entrance to Weapons Training Facility. Computer S.A.X. Presence confirmed within Training Facility. Locking all doors to prevent S.A.X.'s escape into the outside world. All agents within Training Facility to be on alert. S.A.X. is equiped with arm-cannon mounted Neutrino 3000, Plasma Saber Mk.IV, and posesses minor Morph and Fission Cloning capabilities. Agent Ginji looked up from his disk within his temporary office, convieniently located at the entrance of the building with the blazing lights and alarms going off; his real office was curretnly being rebuilt after a faulty sentry-bot had stumbled into a heap of not-so-fully disarmed trip mines. "Damned sentry-bots," Ginji said to himself. "Still, it gets me closer to my work I suppose,: he continued as his eyes drifted to the montier to see what all the noise was about. "Oh....My....God...Why does everything happen on MY shift!" he cried out as he rushed into the main room, picked up his own modded Plasma Katana, and registered it. Hoping that other Agents would soon follow, he paced the room anxiously, hoping his weapons would actually be able to do some good this time around.

Cuatela stepped out from the elevator and walked down the hall toward his new workstation. He checked his orders again to be sure of where he was headed, stopping as he heard something. He looked around, not quite sure of what exactly had happened, then started forward slowly, reaching back to pull his customized pulse rifle from his back. It snagged, and he stopped to disentangle himself, simultaneously dropping his orders. He stooped to pick them up, then started forward again. He saw a shadow moving, and slid against the wall until he could peer inside. Cuatela suppressed a smirk and stepped through the door.
"Agent Cuatela reporting for duty, sir."

Agent Ginji jumped, and then pointed towards the far wall, indicating the new N.E.E.W.D. agent should read the screen and process his weapon. "Well, there's two of us now. There should be others coming shortly. Have you ever trained with that thing before?" he asked, pointing to the pulse rifle, unsure of it's original origins.

Rin sighed as he came following from the elevator that went down right before he went on it. So, it took a bit longer to get down. He walked around the corner in a battle armor he obtained just by venturing in the more dangerous areas of Gaia. One of the main weapons he had was a beautifully designed Nano-C laser rifle, or...whatever it was. It was some of the recent tech. Within his sheathe was a katana covered in oil, and on the sheathe was a friction lighter. It was to light the katana while he drew it from the sheathe.
"Greetings, Agent Hinji, Agent Cuatela. I'm here, for...whatever is out there," he said with perfect pronunciation, making him look more elegant than he really was.

Agent Ginji nodded and took note of Agent EXE's weapons on his datapad, synching it to the main computer. "Whatever it is, at least it hasnt multiplyed yet. There should be severall more agents on their way. I suggest we wait here for them. Why don't you two get aquainted while we wait?"

Cuatela tried unsuccessfully to suppress a smirk as he registered his weapon.
"Yes sir, I have trained with it. I've also customized it. It's what I do."
Cuatela turned to look at Rin as he spoke and nodded in recognition.
"Rin, good to see you again. Looks like I get to work with you, finally. Just got assigned to weapons research. I see you've kept your pulse rifle standard? I could show you how to drop the recharge rate by half, if you'd like?"

 "Later, I'll work do it. I prefer to use my katana anyways," he said as he unsheathed it quickly to light the fire. As he drew it, it ignited in a very hot fire. After twirling it and showing it off a bit, he sheathed it again. "We've already acquainted ourselved a bit. But I'm a bit more serious when it comes to fighting." Just to do something while he waited, Rin took off the Nano-C, put it into omnidirectional defense, pulled some materials out of his pocket and started to tweak it.
