With senior class. Seems more of like a family place though, than friend place. Everyone made useless drama and was really stupid but all in all I had a good time.

I'll never understand why people go to those kinds of places.

Disney World is more than just rides. Epcot for example has science and marine biology centers, as well as the international houses to visit which have much more than just souvenirs to buy. Well, Epcot Japan was quite educational for my daughters because the personnel were all Japanese. OK so I spent 500.00 there, but that was what I planned on spending for the girls when we went 2 Thanksgivings ago.
I loved that all the international houses were manned by people actually from that nation's country, and there were all sorts of educational information available.
Magic Kingdom is rides, basically. Animal Kingdom is quite fun and educational- loved the African dancers that were putting on a show for everyone. The safari took almost an hour and half to actually get to but it was fun, educational and at times a bit risky. Good thing that we all stayed in the jeep!! Oh and the Rainforest Cafe was wonderful for food, souveniers and ambiance. Disney has their own shopping mall with unique places to shop and eat.
The resort we stayed in was the All-Star Music Resort and we were surprised to see likenesses of Japanese Rockers painted on the walls as well as famous Americans from the 2nd half of the 20th and all of the 21st century. We got to listen to nonstop Christmas music from the time we checked in (monday before Thanksgiving) till we left the day after while in the HUGE cafeteria. Having a meal plan was well worth 200 a week per person. We got 2 full meals a day and snacks. Imagine what going to Wolfgang Puck's restaurant would normally cost and you know we got a great deal. That night, dinner would have been over 200.
All in all, yes, it is meant for the entire family for fun and enterainment, but you can also learn a lot there.
Does that answer your question, GT?

Personally I'd rather go to an amusement park that's all about rides and not shows, like Disney was. That's what I thought Disney was at first so I was a little dissapointed when rides weren't everyone's first priority. I liked that the international parts of Epcot were all people from that country, too. Some food clerks or wtvr that I saw in like the All Star Movies resort were from Rochester. o.o I wish Hollywood Studios had more rides like the Rock n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, those were the only really good rides imo. I liked splash mountain and the space one in Magic Kingdom too though... I didn't do too many shows 'cos I liked rides better but I went to Rainforest Cafe and that was like a show itself with the fake thunderstorms. O_o
I spent sooooo much (not half as much as other people but still), but I look at what I bought and it fits into a small little pile so it doesn't seem like much. xD
