The other night I watched She's the Man after renting it over the weekend. My friends told me what a great movie it was since they had all watched it and so I decided to give it a try.
I'm usually never disappointed with any Amanda Bynes movie and this was no different. The comedy that Amands Bynes as Viola brings to the movie was even more funny b/c now Amanda is "Sebastian", her twin brother. She disguises as him after the girls soccer team is cut at her high school and sneaks into his new private high school to try out for the boys to team while he sneaks away to London to play with his band. The excuse: both say they're staying at dad's (the parents are divorced in the movie fyi). Viola plans to prove that girls can play soccer just as well, if not better, than boys.
I reccomend the movie. it's a modern twist on the Shakespear play, Twelfth Night. Well, it has the general idea i think. And hey, u may not be into Amanda Bynes, soccer, or comedy, but hey, it's filled with scenes of Channing Tatum with his shirt off and I think that counts to bonus marks. (I'm sure the female population of this guild will agree wink ) Personally, I don't find him overly attractive but his character, Duke, is so hard not to like and his abs aren't hard to look at biggrin
This will defenitley be going on my top picks of movies. Check out my profile for a complete list for movies and books smile
