Naomi led Nath into a small cottage, only one floor. She pointed to one door, and it had the word 'bathroom' carved into it. There was another door next to it that said 'Naomi's Room', one that said, 'Dining Room' and one that just said 'Room'. She raised her hand, and fire began to dance along the door. It suddenly vanished altogether, and it had burned the word 'Nath' above the word 'room'.
In the main room, there was a hearth all the way across from the door, and many red chairs and sofas. However, they were all put to the sides, and there was a rather large space between them all.
"I expect only two things of you as long as you are here with me." Naomi wrote on her chalkboard. "One: I will teach you sign language so you can become my interpreter. Two:" She smirked before writing, "I will teach you how to" she smirked again and wrote, "dance."

The inu held up a finger. It lit ablaze. "One. I know sign language." A second finger went up and a flame flickered on it. "Two, excuse me while I go throw up." He then began moving to the door.

"Then you must be very smart," Naomi said in sign language. "I need a partner for my dances. I figured that you would agree, seeing as I have a white collar."

The two lit fingers dropped, along with his arm, to his side. Nath's ears twitched as he heard motion. He spun around to see what she said. He was barely able to stifle a laugh. 'I'm a slave. At the moment, at least. I can't mess this up,' he told himself mentally. "Hm...." he hummed. For a moment, he just stood there. He didn't say anything. "Fine. I'll do it. I'll tell you now, I won't like it," he finally said.

"Good." Naomi sign languaged, smiling. "Now, I see you can control flame. That helps me a lot, as I can, too." She held out her hands, and a stream of fire burst out at Nath.

"I'm glad we have something in common," the inu replied. He didn't make an attempt to dodge the roaring tongues of fire. Instead, he stood. The flames engulfed him. Several moments later, the magnificent light died down to a dim glow. Nath emerged, a mischievous grin seemed to shine in his eyes, though his mask didn't betray any emotions he seemed to have. "What was that?"

"Perfect." Naomi grinned as she sign languaged, "You can resist my flame, but you need to control it, to move it as I do. We must be able to have harmony with the fire, because I am no ordinary dancer." She smiled, and added with her hands, "I am a Fire Dancer, and I'm sure you will enjoy that much more than ballet."

Nath grinned under his mask. The dim glow of fire began to grow. It began to spiral around him. Then, it shot out at Naomi. Before it reached her, it veered off to the left of her and headed back towards Nath. He held up his hand, and the flames were absorbed into it. "I can control it. I just didn't show it to you in the first place," he explained. "If I told you what all I could do, then what's the fun in that?"

"And you can control mine as well?" She questioned with her hands. She blasted a small bit at him, and quickly motioned, "Quickly direct it to the hearth."

"No," the inu answered. The fire seemed to dodge him, and it flew into the hearth. "I can control anyone's."

"That is perfect." Naomi motioned. "Now you get to fire at me."

Nodding, the boy thrust himself forward a pace. Flames burst forth. The tore through the air.

Naomi held out her hands and twirled around, and the flames began to spiral around her like a twister, and she held out her arms to her side and they were gone.
"Now, we must learn how to keep harmony with each other's flame, and you need to learn a few basic dance steps." She said with her hands.

The inu crossed his arms. A small, but distinct, grumble could be heard. "Can I eat something, first? Maybe something better than those meager portions given in the slave shop?" he asked.

Naomi gasped without sound, and quickly sign languaged.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, I completely forgot! Here, come with me!" She ran over to the dining room and began to rummage through the refrigerator.
"Steak, pork chop or vegetables?" She questioned with her hands.
