 Ixero trotted in a small field of blooming flowers, his tail and body seemingly almost to disappear. His bright and sunny colors blended in with the patches of rainbows. He lazily sat down, staring at the clear sky, blinking his clear blue eyes, yawning. He stretches his orange-ish wings as well, and took a look around. It seemed as if nobody was around for miles... He seemed to match the sky today, lounging lazily around. But still... it must be lonely for the sky to be there all the time, no one around to comfort it... He felt exactly so.

 Midori was happily prancing around in the flowers. The day was beautiful, and she loved being surrounded by so many colours. The young female Cetus giggled as petals swirled around her. To her it seemed like there was a rain of all the hues of the rainbow falling down on her.
Forgetting to look in front of her, she suddenly bumped into another Gladier, tumbling down and rolling onto her back. She got up as fast as she could, saying "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you.."

Ixero was just as surprised as she was. "O-Oh, no problem, really!" He wasn't too sure she had hurt herself or anything. "You okay?" She was very pretty, though, lush and green like a blooming flower bud's leaves. She matched well with that large leaf on her head. "Hmm, is it my eyes, or are you a soon-to-bloom bud, not a Gladier?"

"Yes, I'm okay." Midori blushed and giggled a little. "I'm just an ordinary Cetus, who happens to have a deep love for all flora", she answered his question in a light tone, looking at the stranger. He had bright, sunny colours. Kind of like the flowers around them. She liked them. "My name's Midori, by the way. What's yours?"

He chuckled lightly. "I'm Ixero, but call me anything you'd like, Midori." He was a little unaware of a her blush since he was grinning. "I see. That makes sense, since you remind me so. Looks like we have something in common, then." Company, this fast... he was happy. A period of lonliness like this can always be broken.

Midori smiled her usual sweet smile. She was always glad to make new friends. "Nice to meet you, Ixero", she said happily, wagging her tail a bit. "Such a beautiful day, isn't it?" the female continued.

Ixero watched her smile. It reminded him of a leaf falling onto water, ripples lightly spreading... calming, and sweet. It was such a nice thing to see. "Yeah. But meeting you out here and being in this field with someone makes it all better."

Ixero's words made Midori giggle like a schoolgirl with a crush. "Really? That's.. the way I feel, too.." she said, obviously flustered yet very happy.

Ixero rolled onto his back, face to the sky. It might help him concentrate on not looking at her too much. "Uh, well... the sky's clear today, isn't it...?"

The Cetus sat down, looking up at the sky as well. "Yes.." she said, "It indeed is. Maybe the sun's happy today, too?"
