Friends, Family and Acquaintances *Ren'i's thoughts will be in italics*Rouren - His mother and quite a stern woman. Why did you do this to me?Renka - His father and more understanding than his mother. If you love me so much, why did you agree?Rouka - His brother, of whom he loved and adores, yet is quite jealous of. I thought you cared! I never want to see you again!Yaruka - A Gaian woman who has taken him in and decided to help him. Why are you so kind?Tsubei - Another Porcelain in Yaruka's care. What's a famous guy like you doing in this weird place?Hikari - Another Porcelain boy he met briefly. What's happening to us? Why are we here?

Ren'i's Personality Given Name: Ren'i 孌禕 Elemental Name: none yet Lucidity: yet unknown; but seems an intelligent boy Birthdate: 1-17 T713 Birthplace: White Tiger, Houkoku Zodiac PersonalitySun Sign - the Cup (the month of Quiescence) Austere, wise, spiritual, a seeker of truth, but a little gloomy. Moon Sign - the Two Fans (the month of Parturition) Beautiful, tender-hearted, creative, sensitive, and prone to depression. Past InfluencesA rather unhealthy boy, he has been coddled from early childhood by his parents. Unable to divine exactly what steals the breath from his body -- cold weather? pollen? dust? incense smoke? exercise? -- they have tried to keep him in a sterile environment, restricting him to one section of their house when he cannot be directly supervised by one of them. After a while, though, his parents stopped seeing this as such a tragedy -- a child forbidden from outdoors play is the perfect candidate to become a fine intellectual, is he not? And so they abandoned trying to reform their rebellious older son and concentrated their efforts on Ren'i, hoping to make him into an eloquent, refined, superior mathematician.
In his early years, Ren'i conformed with their desires, enjoying their lessons. He is, in fact, a very bright boy who can amuse himself for whole days pondering numbers and shapes. As he's grown a little older, however, he has become less satisfied with his life. Developing a deep jealous of his older brother, who seems to lead such a fun and free life, playing outside and practicing the dance, he has in the last year thrown away the abacus and demanded that he, too, be trained as a dancer. But nevermind his parents' plans for him; he is simply too weak for such vigorous exercise, collapsing after only a little bit of exertion. And so, forbidden to learn, he has taken to practicing music instead, thinking, gloomily, that if he cannot achieve the stage, he can at least sit in the orchestra.
Simultaneous with this change of aspiration, his personality has changed: no longer a sweet and compliant boy, he has become grumpy and gloomy. His shyness around other children, which used to manifest as endearing nervousness, now shows up as bad-tempered unfriendliness. But one cannot really blame a child who has grown tired of always worrying about where to sleep, what to eat, how to breathe, and with whom he is allowed to play for getting a little discouraged.Likes:- Detailed things - Mathematical puzzles - Fine arts - Dance - Drama (especially plays about historical events) - MusicDislikes:-Being treated like he's helplessHealth issues: Quite bad asthma, but now with treatment from modern technology it may lessen as he grows older.Romantic inclinations: In his childhood he's found girls "icky," and doesn't like to be touched by anybody; but maybe once he becomes a youth and starts feeling the hormones, his attitude will change.
