GENERAL RULES:
heart Follow the Gaia TOS, please!
heart Ask questions here if you aren't certain! I will get to them in a timely fashion (within a day or so).
heart Patience + happiness = pure win. Please keep the "good vibes" going in this thread.
heart Please listen to any staff member in this thread, and especially pay attention to Paper.
heart I wish you all luck (I know, it's not a rule, but I just wanted you all to know)

AUCTION RULES: (swiped from Natsube)
exclaim Please not a billion sealeds.... limit sealeds to 12 if you must.
exclaim Monthly collectables, rares and evolving items accepted. If it's over 50k, its probably ok.
exclaim Use yesterday's tektek price! Please be aware the numbers will fluctuate, and your bid should reflect that.
exclaim Items priced at 90% Tektek! Please look here for an easy way to caculate 90% Tektek
exclaim A 15 minute anti-snipe rule is in place. The bid must stand for 15 minutes before I close the auction.
exclaim Don't retract bids, or bid what you don't have, please

QUESTION AND ANSWER:
Q: Why is this event called Storytime?
A: Sometimes when I color pets, I think up simple little stories as inspiration for working on the pet. It's silly, but I can't help that I am silly xp
Q: Do I have to use that story you used as a basis for when I RP? It just doesn't mesh with my plans.
A: You can use as much or as little information from the stories as you want. Heck, if you win the pet, it's yours to do with as you please.
Q: Do I have to have a pet in order to win any contest here?
A: Most certainly not. We like spreading the Pala love where we can.
Q: I want to enter the contest going on right now, but I can't because I'm not a member of the guild yet. Can you please accept me to the guild?
A: Sure can! Just post a polite request in the main thread, and we'll accept you as soon as possible.
Q: Can you tell us what the free games will be right now so I can prep accordingly?
A: The games will depend upon which Pala is chosen from the auction. Please be patient, and once the Pala from the auction is decided, I will inform people as to the plans for the other three in more detail.

Each Pala in this event had been created by a little imagination.
Learn a little bit more about each and discover their stories.

Kokeshi Doll - There once was a Pala who loved Kokeshi Dolls. It loved them so much, it decided to dress up like one. It would play with other Palas and pretend it was like the dolls it admired so much. However, the other Palas weren't exactly the biggest fans of being swatted by the Kokeshi Pala's elegant fan over and over again. Eventually, Kokeshi Pala was left by itself to play. Kokeshi Pala didn't mind though, for it felt the best friend it could have was the Kokeshi Doll it so admired.

Supar Klepto - This story is about a little Pala that was much like its Inen kin. It was attracted to shiny objects and was prone to taking items it found for itself. However, this Pala was slightly different. Rather than stowing the items away to only be seen by its own eyes, it did much like the Native Americans did. It took these items it found and made them into items for decoration. Certainly, don't tell this Pala that plastic beads are not from nature, for it will argue that it found them and MUST be from the plastic bead tree. Regardless, every item on this Pala was found somewhere and now is like a small trophy it wears every place it goes.

Bird of Paradise - Once upon a time, there was a Pala that believed that the only thing more beautiful than itself was the garden. It was a young and foolish Drei baby who enjoyed visiting flowers every day. At the time, it was a relatively plain Pala, seeming just like every other baby Pala. Each time it visited a garden, it would ask the flowers if it was possible to ever become as beautiful as them. It never received an answer, but it was content. Then one day, this Pala finally grew up into an adult. It was quite a surprise, but this Pala had fully bloomed into a miniature garden of its own. The Pala was extremely happy, for it was now just as beautiful as the flowers (and trust me, it won't ever let you forget that).

Rainbow Butterfly - Have you ever heard the story about the Rainbow Butterfly? It is said that this Pala was quite a trickster, despite its seemingly innocent appearance. Liking things that sparkle and shine, it would usually pick on people or Palas with items it would like to keep for itself. It would approach the person or Pala like an innocent admirer, use its elegant charms, and eventually leave the victim with one less sparkly item. It is speculated that this Pala imagines itself to be a Butterfly Prince or Princess, and feels as if it is entitled to all the sparkly objects in the world.

Note: These are loose stories which are mild explanations of the inspirations for each Pala.
Owners can use as much or as little information from the stories to develop the Pala's personality.
