The Crow The Crow The Crow!!
YAAAAAY!
*dances*
*cough*
Ehh, on Saturday, I was lookin' up movies n' stuff, & I discovered "The Crow" series. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
's about two people, either a couple or father & son, both brutally murdered. The men in the relationship/father of the two is brought back to life on Day of the Dead (I think?) by a crow, whom originated from a myth, saying that a crow is supposed to guide your soul across the in-between point to the Land of the Dead. Sometimes, though, if a soul carries deep sadness & anger, the crow brings back the person & guides the man to whomever murdered them & to avenge themselves & their spouse/son.
There are four movies based on "The Crow", including "The Crow", "The Crow: City of Angels", "The Crow: Salvation", & "The Crow: Wicked Prayer".
The first one stars Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee. Brandon was actually killed accidentally during the production of "The Crow", due to a faulty gun. The fourth "Crow" stars Edward Furlong, whom starred as John Connor in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". Lookit how much he grew up! *cheek squeeze*
"The Crow" series is based off of the graphic novel, "The Crow", & also had it's own television series, you guessed it, "The Crow". It was canceled after the 22nd episode, unfortunately, after the company who owned the film was bought out by another. The television series was pretty popular, though.
I officially want to marry both Brandon Lee & Edward Furlong.
I am soooo obsessed with this series. You should know, since I normally don't post aboot movies & TV shows unless I really, really like them.
Well, "The Crow" series is on the top of my favorite movies list. JUST. SO. AWESOME.
Please check it out. If you can, watch-movies.net hosts the first, second, & fourth movies. I found the third on youtube.
If you do like the series, I suggest watching the movies first, then the TV show. I haven't read the graphic novel yet, but I plan to.
*exhales*
I feel better now. biggrin
