Many days and nights had passed since Quin had last seen Oba, many weeks since their 'argument'. She had wandered aimlessly searching for him. No matter what he had don or which mare he had shown affection for she knew in her heart that she still loved him; and that was all that mattered. Looking back on the events now she assumed she had over reacted, but the pain she had felt was too much for her to bear at the time. She only hoped as she continued to search for him that Oba still had the feelings for her that she had for him.

Oba had been very melancholy of late as to be expected. After the fight with Harlequin Oba had gone back to talk with Anemone. The talk didn't go well, Anemone insisted that they never see each other again. Of course he blamed this on Harlequin at the time, but now he was blaming it all on himself. Both Anemone and Harlequin were mad at him and it was tearing him apart. He almost longed from the abuse he once got from Zira. How was Zira anyways? Did she still want to purify the world, at the moment she could start with him, he thought in joke.
Oba had not tried to avoid on purpose he just let his hooves carry him where they wished to like before he found someone he cared for. It was getting later in the day and Oba decided it would be best to rest for the day, even though when he stopped moving that was when pain resurfaced and he was able to think about missing them. He found an old tree and lay between it's large roots. Oba lay his head on the roots like it was another soquili and shut his eyes hoping the sleep would hit before the pain, but he was never so lucky of late.
