Dogo lay in the grass, staring into the river that ran through the pride's lands. She hated her reflection. Every time she saw it, she saw the symbol carved into her skin, right above her eyes. Growling, she swiped a paw at the water and stood. The demon would pay for what he'd done to her. She would make him know what it meant to cross her.
The leopard stalked away from the water's edge, more annoyed now than when she'd gone there.

Bui wandered along beside his mother, watching her every move as she made her way around the pride, checking on it's members to make sure all was well. He had to be sure of everything she did, know her every mood and way of organizing everything around her... Their leader had already said Xinavane was good at her job, Bui had heard her say so. And he wanted to be just like her.
Whether or not she knew he was following her... he wasn't sure. Probably. But that was just more to learn. Xinavane was of course well aware of what her son was doing. She was proud of him for taking the initiative to learn more... but she did think he should be doing more cubbish things for now. But no, like a true future demon hunter, he wanted to be good at his job. And she couldn't blame him for that.
She spotted Dogo, who seemed to be in a bad mood... but she decided to offer a hello anyway. Being on good terms with others in the pride was rather important to the cause, after all, "Hello Dogo." She said with a nod, keeping her son in the corner of her eye as she paused. Last thing she wanted to do was loose track of him.
