Now you may ask, why is this religious discussion? Well it has played a big role for Christians. After he was elected what did you first think? Around, some from me I must admit, I've heard various things.

This is great! It's the first black president!

WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!

He's the ANTICHRIST!!!

Go Obama!

Some negative, some positives. I don't know what you're beliefs are, but I would love to hear them to discuss them. Say what you think as a Christian how we should be acting or do you think this is a great way to act?

I personally don't like Obama and I think it is quite unfair to vote for him because he is Black. The rumor around here is that he will be assassinated before his first year is up. But he has no experience, and I believe that his ideas are dumb and that his speeches are unoriginal. I didn't like either candidate this election year, but I believed that McCain was the less worse of the two. But God has a plan and He chose Obama for a reason. We shall see what that reason is. It's all in His hands. We have to keep believing that.

Anyway exactly! I'm not all agreeing with Obama's ideas, but it's God's plan and instead of griping and complaining. We should pray for his Obama's and America's protection. One great thing also came out of this, the first black president! 40 years ago no one would have even imagined that happening. That's exactly what God does: justice.

Yep. biggrin Sorry I haven't been on. Been busy with college, work, and life. All three together kill. The first black President thing, yeah, I guess that's cool. I don't see it that way. I don't look at color of the skin to determine who should run the country. But, I guess that's great.
